Chapter 2021: Furious

”What? Why? It is the truth, though.” Yao Ran stated. ”It is not true. There is no out soldier that gone missing.” The female officer said.

”It is. Colonel Long had gone missing. You know him, right?” Yao Ran said.

”Where do you get that information?” The male officer asked.

”Well, I heard from my grandfather.” Yao Ran said.

”Your grandfather? May I know where he is right now?” The female officer asked for more details.

”He is at Ookisland.” Yao Ran remembered what her grandfather mentioned where he stayed at.

The female officer looked at the male officer. The male officer nodded. He stood up and left the room. Yao Ran was confused for a moment. She did not know why the officer seemed to react strongly when she mentioned Ookisland. She wondered why. ”As I mentioned earlier, there is no soldier had gone missing. Miss Yao, please take down the post. Otherwise, we, ourselves will take the matter into our hands.” The female officer said.

After saying that, the female officer left the room. Yao Ran was still confused. She did not understand why the military wanted to hide the fact Long Hui went missing. Long Hui should be a valuable asset for the military. They should be worried about that. And Long Huiʼs fiance also did not worry a little bit about him.

People still talked about Yao Ranʼs post. Yao Ran looked at her phone, reading the comment. However, in one blink of a second, the post suddenly disappeared. Yao Ran refreshed her page over and over. The post was still gone. She remembered that the military requested earlier. So, the military decided to take action. The military also saw the post had been taken down. They were glad that Yao Ran listened to their order. Both sides thought differently. The people who still wanted to comment on the post were surprised when they saw the post had gone. They began to speculate on some theories.

They thought it was Yu Qi who had done something to make the post disappear. They thought Yu Qi still liked people talking about her heartless. It was true that Yu Qi was the one who made the post disappear, specifically Neko-chan under Yu Qiʼs order. But it was not because she hated the post. After listening to Long Huiʼs explanation through Shino, it was the best course of action. Long Hui was not gone missing. It was part of the plan, the plan to overthrow the enemy. To be honest, Long Hui was already at the destination to capture the enemy. The enemy might let down their guard and relax.

The military had been planning to capture this criminal for a long time. However, this criminal was really clever. He escaped each time. Then, Long Hui had been assigned to capture the criminal. That was why he had not returned home yet. It had been one month. Whenever they almost captured him, he escaped. It was like he knew the plan beforehand. Then, it clicked. There was an informant in their unit. This informant told the criminal about their plan to capture the criminal. However, Long Hui did not know who the informant was. So, in order to drag the informant out and not let the plan expose, Long Hui disappeared. Sure enough, the informant informed the criminal about that as well. Long Hui captured the criminal and the informant right away. ”I never thought that I would be caught by the younger generation.” The criminal laughed after being pinned down by Long Hui. The informant had been knocked out by Long Hui by using the knock-out powder. The knockout powder was from Yu Qi. It was very effective. Once the knock-out powder hit the man, he would be unconscious for two days straight. Long Hui did not respond to the criminal words. He immediately contacted his subordinates. Not long after that, the whole unit came out. ”So, he is the informant.” Ren Qian Yi kicked the unconscious man. The informant was one of their soldiers too. He just transferred to their unit recently. ”No wonder...” Ren Qian Yi continued. ”The previous plan failed as well. He must transfer to our unit after our unit takes over the task of capturing this criminal. He had been telling the criminal our plan.” The criminal laughed when he heard that. ”Of course...” In the blink of an eye, his tone changed. He clicked his tongue. ”But, in the end, he was useless.” The criminal had been tied up. The informant also had been tied up. The criminal just laughed when he saw the rope on his body. The soldiers were a little bit stupid too. They should know that it was easy for him to escape from this rope. Seeing the soldiers seem to let their guard down, the criminal tries to lose the rope.

”Donʼt bother. You will never succeed.” The criminal was shocked to hear the voice. He looked up and saw Long Hui had been observing him. ”You...” The criminalʼs lips trembled. ”Our Colonel is furious with you. You better not mess around.” Ren Qian Yi reminded the criminal. ”Huh?” The criminal was confused.

”Because of you, he had not seen his fiance for a long time. He would not let you escape. Well, if you escape, you might be captured again but you might lose your leg. Your choice.” Ren Qian Yi chuckled.
