Chapter 2007: Invite Xia Zi Qie

”Tell me who is it.” Fuang Cian Xie demanded to know about that.

”It is Feng Yueʼs boyfriend.” Feng Ma Ri stated.

”Him?” Fuang Cian Xie said.

”Yes, mum...” Feng Ma Ri nodded. ”After knowing he is Feng Yueʼs boyfriend, I made an effort to get to know him. He is quite handsome. I like him. But yesterday, when I went to see him, he scolded me and told me to get lost.” ”How dare he humiliate my daughter like this?” Fuang Cian Xie gritted her teeth. ”My dear, donʼt worry. I will handle this.” Fuang Cian Xie patted her daughterʼs back.

The maid came back with the ice packs. She helped her daughter to apply the ice to her daughterʼs eyes.

”You can not let this happen. Donʼt cry too much. It is bad for your eyes and skin.” Fuang Cian Xie advised. ”Yes, mum.” Feng Ma Ri behaved obediently. After staying for a while, Fuang Cian Xie finally left Feng Ma Riʼs room. She entered her room. Feng Cho Kang was already on the bed. He was waiting for Fuang Cian Xie to return.

”How is it? Is our daughter okay?” Feng Cho Kang asked.

”She cried so bad. Her eyes are swollen.” Fuang Cian Xie sighed.

”Did you ask her what happened?” Feng Cho Kang asked.

”She was crying because someone humiliated her.” Fuang Cian Xie said.

”What? Who dares humiliate Feng Cho Kangʼs daughter?” Feng Cho Kang was angry to hear it. ”It is Xia Zi Qie.” Fuang Cian Xie stated.

”Xia Zi Qie?” Feng Cho Kang seemed to hear the name before but he did not remember anyone with that name.

”It is Feng Yueʼs boyfriend.” Fuang Cian Xie stated.

”Oh... Him?” Feng Cho Kang was surprised.

His father mentioned the name to him multiple times. His father, Feng Mo, liked the man. His father told him that this man was good to Feng Yue. His father seemed to give approval for Feng Yue and Xia Zi Qie to date. From the way, his father said, he already met Xia Zi Qie multiple times. But he as Feng Yueʼs father never met this man. He was displeased with this fact.

”Why does she meet Feng Yueʼs boyfriend?” Feng Cho Kang asked.

”Ma Ri just wanted to introduce herself as Feng Yueʼs sister. But she was told to get lost by the man. I bet Feng Yue said something bad about Ma Ri to her boyfriend.” Fuang Cian Xie stated that she never forgot to paint Feng Yue as a bad person who talked shit about her half-sister.

”That little...” Feng Cho Kang was angry with Feng Yue. ”She dares to talk nonsense about her sister. She never makes me happy about her.” ”Darling, how about we invite Mr Xia to our house to repair his misunderstanding about Ma Ri? I donʼt want him to think badly about our daughter just because he was told by Feng Yue.” Fuang Cian Xie suggested.

Fuang Cian Xie wanted to help Feng Ma Ri. Since her daughter liked Xia Zi Qie, she would help her daughter to get him. As for Feng Yue, she did not care. If Feng Yue was unhappy, she would be happy. ”That is a great idea.” Feng Cho Kang nodded.

”But how do we invite him? We donʼt have his contact information.” Fuang Cian Xie sighed.

”Donʼt worry about that. I have it.” Feng Cho Kang said.

”You have it? How?” Fuang Cian Xie was surprised to know about that.

”Well, my father gives me his contact information.” Feng Cho Kang said.

His father was talking about Xia Zi Qie while he was giving his contact information. However, his father told him not to call Xia Zi Qie if he did not have anything to say to him. His father wanted Feng Yue to bring Xia Zi Qie when Feng Yue was ready to introduce Xia Zi Qie to him. Now, he had a reason to talk to Xia Zi Qie. So, he would contact Xia Zi Qie. ”Good. Let him come together to apologize to Ma Ri.” Fuang Cian Xie stated.

”Yes. Let me call him now.” Feng Cho Kang said.

He reached for his phone on the bedside table, searched for Xia Zi Qieʼs contact information and dialled the number. The call had been ringing for a moment before he heard someone pick up the call.

”Hello.” A voice answered.

”Is this Mr Xia Zi Qie?” Feng Cho Kang asked. ”Yes, it is. May I know who speaking here?” Xia Zi Qie asked back.

”I am Feng Cho Kang, Feng Yueʼs father.” Feng Cho Kang stated. ”Mr Feng? Oh... yes. So, why are you calling me?” Xia Zi Qie did not exchange the plenaries. He went straight to the point. ”Mr Xia, I want to invite you to our home. We have something to talk about.” Feng Cho Kang said.

”About what?” Xia Zi Qie asked.

”About my daughter.” Feng Cho Kang stated.

There was silence on the other side for a while. ”Sure.” Xia Zi Qie agreed. ”Then, letʼs meet at lunch hour.” Feng Cho Kang stated.

”Sure.” Xia Zi Qie agreed again.m

The call ended there. Feng Cho Kang looked at Fuang Cian Xie.

”He agrees to meet us at lunch hour. You should prepare lunch for us.” Feng Cho Kang said. Fuang Cian Xie nodded. She was happy to hear that. Her daughter would be happy to know about this too.
