Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

2012  Chapter 2012: Conspiracy

Shi Jiaying turned to Yu Qi. ”You use your pretty face to seduce a married man. How shameless you are.” Yu Qi did not reply to Shi Jiaying. She glanced at Bai Weimin. Shi Jiaying caught her action.

”You can not talk back because it is true. And do you think looking at your cheating partner will help you right now?” Shi Jiaying scoffed. ”You can not disrespect her like that.” Bai Weimin said. He turned to Chang Chunhua. ”Dear, what is this?”

”Sister-in-law, look. He disrespected you by protecting his mistress like that.” Shi Jiaying talked to Chang Chunhua.

”Shi Jiaying!” Chang Chunhua glared at Shi Jiaying.

”Sister-in-law, I know that you love your husband. But you can not let him do as he pleases like this.” Shi Jiaying still continued her nonsense.

The commotion caught some peopleʼs attention. So, they started to gather and planned to watch the rest. Seeing people were gathering, Shi Jiaying smiled. She would expose the matter to everyone. ”Everyone, look at this. We are here to capture a cheating couple. He...” Pointing to Bai Weimin, Shi Jiaying continued, ”We found out he was cheating on my sister-in-law with this woman.” Then, she pointed to Yu Qi. ”My sister-in-law loves her husband so much. So, she probably would keep this matter silent. But I could not let this happen to a dear family member.”

Shi Jiaying grabbed Chang Chunhuaʼs hands. ”Sister-in-law, you should not endure the pain.” Everyone began to talk. ”What a scumbag.”

”The cheating couple should be ashamed.” ”That bitch looks beautiful.”

”What is the point of being beautiful but having an affair with a married man?”

”That man must be rich.”

”Yeah. You can look how well he dressed up.”

”But if he is rich, why does that woman seem to dress very casually?”

Yu Qi was just wearing a shirt and a pair of pants. She was also wearing a cap. ”Wait!”

”I think I know this woman.”

”Who is she? Is she a celebrity?”

”No... She is not a celebrity. She is Chairwoman Tang who owned the Qinyue Group business.” ”What?”

”She is the youngest chairwoman in the history. She is also a powerful woman in this era.” Shi Jiaying was paying attention to the onlookers. So, she also heard what the onlookers said about the situation. She was shocked when she heard this. She turned to Yu Qi who happened to be staring at her too. She felt so scared that she stepped back and almost fell to the ground. ”Are you finished saying what you want to say?” Yu Qi tilted her head.

”Yes?” Shi Jiaying was trembling as she replied back to Yu Qi.

”Miss Shi... You are really good at making the scene.” Yu Qi smiled coldly at Shi Jiaying.

”Chunhua... What actually happened?” Bai Weimin asked his wife.

”To be honest, I donʼt know until I see you here. She came up to me and asked me to accompany her to dinner. I thought nothing about that and followed her here. But who knows when she saw you, she rushed to confront you about the cheating matter.” Without Shi Jiayingʼs interruption, Chang Chunhua managed to explain what was going on from her side.

”So, that woman just wants to cause some trouble to the couple?”

”Probably. I think she wants to ruin the coupleʼs marriage.”

”She called her sister-in-law, but I think she just hates her.”

”What a terrible sister-in-law.”

”She is your sister-in-law?” Yu Qi asked.

”Yes, she is my wifeʼs younger brotherʼs wife.” Bai Weimin explained their relationship.

”I see.” Yu Qi smiled. She turned to Shi Jiaying. ”Tell me, what is your motive for doing something like this?”

”I... I... I just worried about my sister-in-law. Thatʼs all.” Shi Jiaying managed to think about the excuse.

”Oh.... Are you sure you want to choose that excuse?” Yu Qi narrowed her eyes.

”What? It is not an excuse. I am telling the truth. I just worried about my sister-in-law. I did not want her to be sad if she found out about her husbandʼs Infidelity.” Shi Jiaying was confident about that.

”I see. Then, letʼs see at court.” Yu Qi stated.

”What?” Shi Jiaying was shocked to hear that. ”What do you mean about that?”

”You donʼt understand? You are slandering me just now. I have the right to sue you.” Yu Qi smiled.

”No... You can not do that to me. I donʼt want to be sued.” Shi Jiaying shook her head. ”I can and I will... But if you tell me the truth. I might consider it.” Yu Qi looked straight at Shi Jiaying.

Shi Jiaying flinched as she heard the words. Yu Qi did not believe what she had stated earlier about worrying about her sister-in-law. Yu Qi knew that she had another motive. She did not know what to do now. If she did not tell the truth, she might be sued by Yu Qi but if she did tell the truth, she did not know what would happen to her next. Seeing Shi Jiaying hesitate like this, it had proved that she indeed had another motive for bringing Chang Chunhua here. It was not about worrying her sister-in-law. Chang Chunhua glared at Shi Jiaying.

”Shi Jiaying, what is your motive for bringing me here?” Chang Chunhua demanded the answer.

”Wow... Seeing the womanʼs face, I suspect there is some conspiracy here.”

”Yes...”

”This is better than television drama.”
