Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower

Chapter 98: Chapter 98: Upgrade-1

Others should have hoarded it, right?

But soon Ivy realized a problem she hadn’t thought about before... others don’t have a temporal storage like hers. So they would definitely not buy a large amount of panels.

Yet... it didn’t explain why this manufacturer has so many supplies. If Atlas could hear Ivy’s inner thought, he would have a mental breakdown.

......

Atlas nervously stared at his screen and wished he could jump from his phone screen to the other side and convince the buyer to buy everything.

He cursed his luck for the umpteenth time. If only he hadn’t foolishly listened to his business partner and continued to manufacture more solar panels.

As a result, he made more than 3 million solar panels, around 2 million solar cookers, and 2 million solar ovens. Even solar generators were made in millions.

At first, he did earn a profit by selling nearly 1 million solar panels and 900,000+ solar cookers. As well as 1 million+ solar over.

But soon the sales dwindled, and many of the stocks remained. At first, he just continued to promote his solar panels and received some queries, but almost no one bought them.

As the time passed, Atlas realized that his gamble had failed miserably.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, he had only bought food supplies for the next year, of which four months had passed and due to his relatives’ arrival even that food isn’t enough anymore.

Even after kicking out his relatives, the food supplies in his house can only last 2 more months!

He tried to buy the food supplies, but no one was ready to sell. Even tried to grow vegetables on his own, but they never germinated.

Misery! What a misery!

Now he only wished that someone would buy all his solar panels in exchange for food. Even a single solar panel sold would benefit him a lot.

Just then, he saw the ’typing’ sign of the other party and his eyes lit up. Soon a message arrived from the other side asking him to show the supplies as a proof.

Atlas, who had pre-recorded videos, sent them and waited for Ivy’s response.

’Please! Please god! Have mercy on me! My wife and my children depend on me for food! If I can’t sell this batch, my family will die for sure!’

...........

Ivy stared at the video with a suspicious gaze, and only when she was sure that it wasn’t AI-generated or stolen from the internet did she relax, and her eyes sparkled.

She thought finding solar equipment would be hard, but now, seeing the situation, she was delighted.

The destiny was indeed in her favor! She thought for a while and typed out a message.

”How much for all the solar panels?”

And soon received a reply from Atlas,

”1kg of rice, 1 packet of salt for each solar panel.”

Seeing this, Ivy raised an eyebrow. She hurriedly checked her inventory. She has approximately 327 kg of rice, including all the varieties of rice and excluding the rice she got from Patrick.

As for salt packets... well, they are approximately 10,000 packets or so. If she multiplied it, she would have 250,000 packets.

The rice after being multiplied would be 8,175 kg.

After thinking for a while, she decided to buy the solar panels in installments, and message,

”What about solar cookers, solar ovens, and solar generators?”

There was a pause on the other end before a swift reply arrived,

”500g of rice, and half a packet of salt for solar cooker and solar ovens. As for generators, the price is the same as solar panels.”

”Alright then, give me 1 solar cooker, a solar oven as well as 10 generators and 10 solar panels.” Ivy typed out.

..............

Atlas watched the message in surprise before he was thrilled and immediately agreed. ”Sure! I stay in Gotham City’s suburban area. Please tell me your address, or come here to pick it up.”

He thought the buyer must be from a different state, but when he saw the message stating the buyer was from Gotham City too, he was thrilled.

Soon, the buyer sent a message stating they would meet at his factory, and Atlas agreed. Thinking about the incoming food, he couldn’t help but feel grateful toward the god and the buyer.

When he quoted the price, he expected the other party to haggle, but to his surprise, there was no bargaining at all!

This filled him with gratitude and hope for the future. At least his family will not die due to hunger!

.............

[Ding! You have earned 500 KB!]

Eh? Ivy was stunned by the amount. She blinked her eyes repeatedly to confirm that her eyes weren’t playing tricks on her. This was the highest amount of KB she had ever earned. Looking at her balance now, which had turned from 467.7 to 967.7KB, her hand itched.

A voice in her mind told her to first upgrade the Temporal Storage before multiplying. Was it her instincts? Something that she subconsciously knew?

Ivy didn’t know, but she knew it was worth trying. Hence, she walked up to the Ravencroft family, who were sleeping in her room, and splashed them with water.

”Mphm!” All three of them jolted awake and frantically looked around. Their eyes flashed with fear, giving Ivy a twisted sense of satisfaction.

”Good morning~” She greeted them with a smile, causing the Ravencroft family to shudder in fear. What a beautiful sight it was!

”Let’s start with a warm-up up shall we?” Ivy asked in her melodious voice, which sounded like horror music to the Ravencrofts.

They desperately shook their heads, but Ivy ignored their protest altogether and took out the whip.

The session lasted for an hour, before she stored the whip and looked at their weak body and asked with a smile,

”Who wants to eat? I have fish meat with me. But only one of you can have it. Say... to whom should I give the fish meat?”

The Ravencrofts, who were lying on the floor, started to desperately struggle, each of them trying to gain Ivy’s attention.
