Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower

Chapter 54: Chapter 54: Flour

Ivy chuckled,

”Just as childish as you were before.”

With that, she stepped back one step and scanned the room to find the anomaly in the room, and soon something caught her eye.

She smirked. The table was moved 2 inches further from its original position.

Not to mention...

”I see...” Ivy’s calm tone scared Patrick so much that he looked in Ivy’s direction.

”Did you think you could hide it from me?” Ivy smiled.

Patrick remained silent, while Ivy wasn’t in a hurry anymore. She silently entered Patrick’s room.

........

30 minutes later.

The door of Patrick’s room was pushed open.

No doorbell. No warning.

A man with a tattoo covering his entire arms, wearing a black tank top and green cargo pants, walked in.

With his bulky body, he almost couldn’t get out of the door. His bald head shone due to the upper lights.

”Patrick?” He called out in a tentative voice.

Patrick looked in the direction of the door with a hopeful expression. Alas, it wasn’t visible to him at all.

He tried to move, but the ropes binding him and the darkness around him greatly restricted his movements.

”Hmph! Hmph...” He tried to shout, but the clothes in his mouth muffled his voice completely. He would have spit it out if it weren’t for the tape securing shut his mouth.

The bald man checked all the places carefully, but to his shock, there wasn’t any sign of a living person in the room at all.

”Strange... I remember Patrick called me... and asked me to rescue him. He didn’t say anything properly and only shouted help before hanging up.”

He muttered and roamed before his eyes fell on the white powder on the floor. Bending down, he pinched a small amount of it and sniffed it.

Before long, he shook his head and laughed,

”Oh, Patrick... so you were high after all. I should have known. What kind of trouble can a sadist like you even fall into?”

With that thought, the man calmly left.

There was silence for a long while.

3 hours passed.

The bald man who supposedly should have left returned again and inspected the place.

Seeing that there was no one inside, he was assured, and this time he left.

Ivy came out of her temporal storage and chuckled. Just now, she was about to come out, but thanks to her observation of Patrick, she knew what type of people were around him, so she stayed hidden.

3 hours... an ex-military man could indeed stay patient for a long while.

The only drawback was... she didn’t get the chance to see the man.

The Temporal Storage, after its upgrade, could detect the presence of a person outside the Temporal Storage.

”Anyways, it’s time to finish the Chapter, which has been started.” Ivy sighed and went to open the hidden compartment.

Yes, Ivy had stored Patrick inside the cellar and even tied his legs and hands.

What to say... she was disappointed by Patrick’s surprise attack.

After coming from earning the kindness beats, she noticed something Patrick desperately.

The cable of the telephone placed on the table seemed to have been vibrating slightly as if someone had disturbed it once.

This was enough to tell Ivy that Patrick had asked for help using the telephone.

Taking out Patrick was a difficult task, and for a few moments, Ivy even thought of letting him stay and die there.

But her further plans will be completely ruined, and hence, with difficulty, Ivy pulled Patrick up and brought him to the center of the living room.

Blood seeped out of Patrick’s mouth when Ivy harshly pulled off the tape.

”Ahhhh!” Patrick shouted in agony and hoped someone would be attracted by his voice, but to his dismay, no one came to check on him.

”Patrick, now that you have served your purpose and even asked for help, I think you are courageous and difficult to guard against. I will give you your desired freedom. But before that... let me use you properly.”

With that, she entered the room and took out a whip.

The next thing was inevitable, and by the time everything was over, Patrick couldn’t even move.

Ivy smirked and was about to walk away when suddenly a timer appeared in the air.

”Sh*t!” Ivy muttered.

She hurriedly covered Patrick’s eyes and looked at the ground. Sure enough, food supplies had appeared.

Looking at the supplies, Ivy’s eyes lit up.

Flour!

Flour!

She bent down and picked up a packet of cake flour.

Bread flour of 300g? Picked.

Plain flour of 260g? Picked.

Whole wheat flour of 350g? Picked.

Buckwheat flour of 200g? Picked.

Self-raising flour, 500g? Picked.

Gluten-free flour, 400g? Picked.

Almond flour, 250g? Picked.

Coconut flour, 180g? Picked.

Tapioca flour, 220g? Picked.

Rye flour, 300g? Picked.

Corn flour, 275g? Picked.

Chickpea flour, 310g? Picked.

Rice flour, 200g? Picked.

Potato flour, 240g? Picked.

Barley flour, 290g? Picked.

Ivy’s fingers worked with precision, touching each packet, storing them instantly after selecting ”Store it! Multiply later!”

The translucent outlines of the flours became solid the moment her palm brushed against them, and then disappeared into her Temporal Storage with a soft shimmer.

She was swift, calm, and calculating.

As the timer hit 03:00, Ivy had cleared almost all of the living room.

She sat down as her breathing turned rapid, and she smiled,

”This time, I was fast enough to take away all the supplies! I am indeed a genius...”

Toward the end, Ivy’s words flattered when she saw various flour packets in the kitchen as well as the bedroom.

”F*ck! Are you playing with me?” Ivy muttered and stood up.

Who can give up on the free food? Definitely not Ivy, who had seen 50% of her beloved people dying because of food.

”Rest can wait. But supplies? They can’t!” Ivy muttered and forced herself to stand up.

What she didn’t know was, a bit of the blanket which Ivy had used to cover Patrick’s eyes was lifted upward.
