The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2169: Child with red eyes

”It’s not enough to trigger the Crimson Light or alter my bloodline,” Cain murmured, his voice trembling with excitement. ”But with this, and my innate attunement to the essence of the world as a Primordial, I’ll be able to command an immense domain over the Flow itself!”

A surge of exhilaration ran through him. He could feel it, the pulse of existence, the endless current of the Flow weaving through all creation. His connection to it was nearly as pure as it had been within the Crimson World, and that alone filled him with elation.

But the revelations weren’t over.

The deepening of his attunement to the world around him had sparked something significant: his Primordial Path was ready to ascend. Cain’s body shuddered as power and vitality roared through him like a tidal wave. His flesh glowed with the light of creation, World Strength rippling through every vein and atom of his being.

Above his head, a new Star of Origin blazed to life, his third, forming a radiant crown of triune light.

”Hahahahahaha!”

Cain threw back his head and laughed. The sound echoed through the vast throne chamber like rolling thunder. He had only just returned, and already his cultivation had leapt forward once more.

Excitement burned in his eyes. He clenched his fists, commanding, ”System, scan me.”

A pulse of energy coursed through his body as the Absolute Lifeform System activated. The air shimmered around him, filled with digital runes and faint mechanical hums. Then, the familiar, coldly mechanical voice echoed in his mind.

Cain’s grin widened, so wide it looked almost feral. His Primordial Path, which strengthened every aspect of his existence, had risen to the Peak Prima Deity Rank. And that was only the beginning.

His Astral Rebirth and Essence Evolution Paths had advanced as well, their growth over the last decade culminating now at the Late Prima Deity Rank. The Star Power flooding through him reforged every cell of his being, and the size of his Inner Universe had risen, refining his attunement to the Laws of creation.

Then there was his key Path, the one that had allowed him to fight Peak ArchDeities, to slay a broken Alpha-Omega Overgod as the True Depravita of Sloth, his Ego Eternal Path of Power.

In the Crimson World, Cain’s True Name had evolved immensely. The purity of his Black Hole Core, coupled with the enlightenment gained from mastering the Core Oniric Truth, had raised his soul to unimaginable clarity. And now, having fused that power with the Primarch of Conquest Leviathan, his Alter Ego had finally shattered its final constraint.

It had ascended.

The shackles binding him to the Middle Stage broke apart, and his willpower now burned with the intensity of a Peak Archdeity.

The data continued scrolling in his mind, but his attention caught on one number, his vitality. The surge was staggering.

The reason dawned on him immediately.

”I’ve already completed the Third Level of the Eclipse Monolith Inheritance,” he whispered, astonished.

The Eclipse Monolith Inheritance was no ordinary technique. It was an Alpha-Omega Overgod-tier body refinement art, a treasure once belonging to the Ouroboros Cult, meant for Primordials. Reaching its Third Level meant one’s body could withstand destruction equivalent to Peak Archdeity Armor.

Now, reinforced further by the World Strength and the subtle blessing of the Light of the Flow, Cain’s vitality had surpassed even that of Bradly, the Neo-Angel Alpha-Omega Overgod he had slain.

He exhaled slowly, awe flickering in his crimson eyes. ”My body... my vitality... they’re at the level of an Alpha-Omega Overgod.”

Then, a more dangerous thought came to him. His gaze sharpened.

”That means my body and mind might finally endure Resurrección, without the crippling backlash.”

Resurrección, his ultimate state of power, had always come at a terrible cost. Though it multiplied his strength beyond comprehension, the crushing internal pressure it generated left him weakened and vulnerable afterward. If his body and will were now strong enough to endure it fully, then—

A grin returned to his lips.

That changed everything.

He would need the might of Resurrección soon. For as he extended his senses across the Everstrife Empyrean World, he could feel the peace, the prosperity, the expansion, all under the guiding hand of the Scarlet Path.

The world was his. Every mountain and sea, every city bore his mark.

But Cain Laurifer was not content with one world.

No, his ambitions stretched far beyond that.

He sought to unify the Nine Empyrean Suns Worlds, to shatter the barriers that divided them, and to raise a realm so vast that even the Tenth Empyrean World would tremble before it.

And now, at last, he was close. His strength had grown enough to challenge the Empyrean walls themselves.

Power, purpose, and destiny burned in his gaze.

Then, without a warning, the air in the throne chamber shimmered. Two figures materialized before him, their forms woven from crimson light.

One was an old man with a serene smile, his presence radiating timeless wisdom. The other was a small child with red eyes and a red robe, silent yet piercing in gaze, ancient beyond years.
