Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 198 The end of the knockout

Chapter 198 The end of the knockout

I have to say that the plans for many things are really good, but when they are implemented, there will be many variables.

First of all, although the cemetery alliance attacked on the surface only to weaken the forest camp, in fact, they were ready to wipe out the forest forces.

At the same time, the forest forces were dismayed that the two alliance camps were watching with cold eyes. They overestimated their own strength and chose the wrong way to resist.

When the forest camp found itself unable to resist, it was already surrounded by the cemetery camp.

When the castle camp and the fortress camp discovered that the forest camp might be in danger of being destroyed, it was too late to support them.

As a result, in the southwestern border, the strength of the cemetery camp alliance has greatly increased, and the castle camp alliance has abolished its martial arts, causing the war to retreat steadily.

In the end, if it weren’t for the two neutral camps who were worried about their dying lips and teeth, they would secretly help, and the castle camp alliance would have been defeated by the cemetery camp long ago.

At this time, although it seems that the cemetery camp deliberately lied to itself.

But they are obviously unwilling to let the dungeon camp and the Horde camp turn their faces because of something that has already happened and cannot be changed.

Not only are they unwilling, but they also want to take advantage of the cemetery camp to have a great advantage, and then allow themselves to be compensated.

After all, according to the strength of the original faction, only the leader of each faction has the strength of a demigod, and because the cemetery faction defeated the forest faction, the Great Elder also advanced to become a demigod.

After the Great Elder was promoted, the demigod combat power of the cemetery camp alliance had crushed the demigod combat power of the castle camp four to two.

However, because the two demigods from the neutral camp quietly helped the castle camp alliance, the combat effectiveness of the demigods on both sides returned to four to four.

The fighting power of the demigods has been rebalanced, and even the cemetery camp alliance has lost a lot of the backbone combat power of the three parties because of the destruction of the forest camp.

After weighing, the cemetery camp alliance finally chose to back down, just occupied the barren forest, and did not pursue the victory.

And now that Elder Bone is about to break through the demigod, the balance of high-end combat power between the two sides will be broken again.

So even the two elders of the dungeon camp and the tribal camp were dissatisfied with the fact that the cemetery camp monopolized the loot.

But in the face of higher interests, they certainly know how to choose.

”Okay, let’s talk about other things after the game is over.”

The human great elder of the castle camp took a deep look at Elder Bone, and finally nodded, without saying anything more.

When the elder of the dark elf heard what the other party said, he just glanced at it with disdain, and said nothing more.

At this moment, the castle camp alliance and the neutral camp have become, to put it mildly, meat waiting to be slaughtered on the cutting board, and even if they have any opinions, they can’t do anything to turn things around.

Because of Elder Bone’s breakthrough in strength, the people watching the match suddenly became less interested in the match that was still going on inside.

Although it is said that the protagonists of each lord contest are new lords, but given the current complex situation of the aborigines in the Southwest Territory, whether they can wait until the new lord grows up is another matter.

”Actually, I wanted to say that this session of lords is considered to be the one with the fastest growth in strength in the past [-] sessions. Who would have known, hehe?”

Tatum shook his head with a smile.

”No wonder Elder Bone is willing to open the hunting ground to everyone before the start of the game. It turned out that it was only used to stabilize us. What a calculation!”

Hearing Tatamu’s words, everyone’s eyes fell on Elder Gu.

”Why, are you sure you can keep me here? It’s useless!”

Elder Bone sensed the hidden malice in everyone’s gaze, but he fought back without fear.

When everyone’s spiritual consciousness was knocked back, they didn’t continue to provoke Elder Gu.

They must have thought about it.

It is a pity that neither the venue nor the time is suitable here.

Although Elder Bone has not yet broken through to the level of a demigod, his own strength has obviously been greatly increased.

It is definitely impossible to crush everyone, but it is definitely easy to fight against two.

The positions of the great elder dark elves in the dungeon camp and the big tiger-headed orcs in the tribal camp were obviously on the side of the cemetery camp.

Relying on the four elders of the castle camp, the barrier camp, the swamp camp and the elemental camp, let alone killing the elder bone, I am afraid that even the three elders of the cemetery camp alliance can’t beat them.

”Don’t be complacent, as you said, the lord world has its own rules, and even the gods can’t intervene casually. Do you think you can change the general situation just by relying on you few demigods?”

The Great Elder of the castle camp obviously understood this truth, but he refused to admit defeat.

”Of course, so we can leave everything to them below, and be a good audience!”

Elder Gu, who has always been tough, nodded in agreement after hearing this sentence.

This made other people look at him several times in surprise, and for a while, everyone couldn’t tell whether the other party’s words were true or false.

Many troubles often stem from knowing too much.

Now the Great Elders of the Castle Alliance and the Neutral Camp don’t even pay much attention to the situation on the battlefield below because they know the balance of power between the three parties or the two parties.

The lord who is competing inside is different.

They don’t know much about the situation of the aboriginal forces.

There are even lords like Guo Xiuwen who know nothing about other than knowing the names of the seven camps.

So he didn’t have too much trouble.

On the contrary, he was very happy and surprised.

[Kill the LV10 bronze rank death knight lord! 】

[Kill the LV5 gold rank ghost! 】

[Kill the LV5 golden bone horse! 】

[Kill LV5 Gold Rank Headless Horseman! 】

[Kill the LV5 silver rank ghost X24! 】

[Kill the LV5 Silver Rank Bone Horse X32! 】

[Kill LV5 Silver Rank Headless Horseman X32! 】

[Get hunting points X796! 】

boom boom boom boom-

Just when Guo Xiuwen killed the death knight lord of the cemetery camp, the ground suddenly shook.

He looked around and found that in the sky, dark ghosts, eagles, etc. blocked the sky.

On the ground, the Headless Horsemen, Wild Boars, Skeleton Soldiers, and Kobolds surrounded him from all directions.

Seeing this situation, Guo Xiuwen’s face changed drastically, and he immediately opened the leaderboard to read it.

[No.1: Swamp, Guo Xiuwen, 998 points]

[No. 2: Cemetery, bone killing, 1998 points! 】

[No. 3: Cemetery, Youyou, 1991 points! 】

”Damn it, they all stopped when the hunting points approached [-], what should we do now?”

Guo Xiuwen didn’t expect that his hunting points were only a little bit away from breaking through [-] points, but he broke through to the value of [-] so quickly.

And it still surpassed [-], directly exceeding [-].

As a result, it now appears that the wild monsters rushing from all directions are the result of his continuous increase in hunting points.

The main reason for this sudden situation was the lord of the cemetery camp who had just been killed by him.

You must know that the hunting ground calculates the hunting points, a silver rank soldier counts as a hunting point, and if it is an elite soldier, the hunting points are doubled.

This is nothing, after all, the difference between one hunting point and two hunting points is really not a big difference.

But this inconspicuous statistic is different for the Golden Rank.

A gold rank enemy has a full hundred hunting points.

And it just so happened that the two golden-rank soldiers on the other side were both elite-level existences.

What is even more speechless is that in the Dull Horseman combination, the Headless Horseman and the Bone Horse calculate the hunting points separately.

So just two gold rank soldiers gave Guo Xiuwen a full [-] hunting points.

Add in the one hundred points given by the other party’s lord, and there are a few elite soldiers among the other 88 silver rank soldiers.

He just killed one of the opponent’s lords, and he got nearly [-] hunting points.

Then things got out of hand.

Seeing the wild monsters getting closer and closer to him, Guo Xiuwen stood where he was, not knowing what to do for a while.

If you escape, you will definitely not be able to escape, but if you fight.

Guo Xiuwen glanced at the boundless wild monsters, and he couldn’t even feel any desire to fight for a while.

[Ding, a lord’s hunting points have exceeded [-], the knockout round is over, and he is about to leave the hunting ground! 】

Just when Guo Xiuwen didn’t know what to do, a system prompt appeared, which immediately let him breathe a sigh of relief.

Obviously, breaking through two thousand hunting points is the key to the end of the knockout round.

[Ding, congratulations on breaking through [-] hunting points in the hunting ground. The rewards of hunting points are doubled. You can exchange hunting points for prizes. All prizes below the gold rank are open to you, and prizes above the gold rank will randomly open three pieces for you! 】

[Ding, congratulations, you have reached [-] wild monsters in hunting and killing. You can choose [-]% of the number as soldiers to fight for you! 】

[Ding, congratulations on getting No.1 in the competition, you get a reward of doubling your hunting points, you can choose one of the following five rewards! 】

The wild monster that was about to rush in front of Guo Xiuwen and his soldiers suddenly froze in place, and time in the hunting ground stopped for an instant.

Guo Xiuwen couldn’t care about these things at this time, because he only cared about the swiped information.

”This, this, it’s still possible to do this, the Great Elder and Tux really didn’t lie to me!”

There is not much important information, just three pieces.

But it was these three pieces of information that made Guo Xiuwen suddenly excited.

First of all, after the number of hunting points exceeded [-], the reward was doubled.

So the hunting points in his hand directly became four thousand and two points.

Then the soldiers who were killed by him can actually get a [-]% quantity reward.

Although one percent is not a lot, Guo Xiuwen killed a total of 140 in this competition.

More importantly, there are two soldiers of the golden rank.

Thinking of this, Guo Xiuwen didn’t say anything, just clicked on the attribute panel, and was ready to choose.

He only sighed when he saw that the two gold rank soldiers turned out to be gray and unavailable.

Obviously, it was impossible for him to take advantage of this loophole.

But it doesn’t matter, 1142 soldiers, even if it is only one percent, can get eleven.

Eleven silver-ranked soldiers might not seem like a lot, but if Guo Xiuwen had to summon them himself, it would take a week, not to mention resources.

If it is another lord, it may take several weeks to get it together.

And don’t look at the leaders who participated in the competition, there are dozens of silver rank soldiers.

But don’t forget that most of these soldiers are specially supported by the aboriginal forces in order to let them achieve good results in the competition.

This support is clearly unlikely to last.

If you don’t count them who have been specially trained, a large part of ordinary lords may not even get a silver-ranked soldier.

Guo Xiuwen ignored this and looked at the third message.

Because he achieved No.1 in the knockout round, he received two rewards.

The first reward is to double the hunting points.

Therefore, Guo Xiuwen’s total hunting points for entering the hunting ground this time reached 6030 points.

Seeing that it was not 8040 points, Guo Xiuwen was a little disappointed. He thought that the two doubled rewards could be superimposed.

But this is just a little greed of his. In fact, even if it is 6030 points, he is already very satisfied.

And if the reward of hunting points was not surprising to him, then another reward shocked him even more.

After all, hunting points need to be exchanged for something, and he hasn’t had time to see what is in the exchangeable list.

On the contrary, the other one of the five rewards was directly displayed in front of him, which surprised Guo Xiuwen first.

[Optional types of rare resources X10000 units! 】

[Silver barracks blueprint X1! 】

[Heart of the Territory X4! 】

[Heart of the Troop Lair (Silver) X5! 】

[Optional golden rank soldier summoning scroll X5! 】

Good guy, [-] units of rare resources, and they are optional.

Needless to say, the blueprint of the silver-rank barracks means that there will be a steady stream of silver-rank soldiers to support in the future.

Needless to say, the number of territorial hearts.

To upgrade a Bronze-rank territory to a Silver-rank territory, exactly four territory hearts are needed.

In other words, if Guo Xiuwen chooses the heart of the territory, he can upgrade the territory to the silver level after returning.

Not to mention the number of troop lair hearts, five silver lair hearts are enough to upgrade a barracks to the legendary level.

Even if it is used to upgrade the gold-rank barracks, it is enough to satisfy the upgrade of two gold-rank barracks.

On the contrary, the reward for the summoning scrolls of the last five gold rank soldiers, for Guo Xiuwen, the price/performance ratio is the lowest.

But even this lowest cost-effective reward is actually enough to make people crazy.

After all, you must know that they still have qualifying matches to play next.

Guo Xiuwen’s current number of gold rank soldiers is only seven.

If there were five more gold rank soldiers, he would definitely have the confidence to sweep the other lords.

With so many good things here, Guo Xiuwen didn’t know how to choose for a while.
