Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 180 Upgrading the Gold Rank Barracks

Chapter 180 Upgrading the Gold Rank Barracks

What he wanted the other party to see was naturally the branches of the Goddess of Nature that could increase the number of soldiers in the barracks.

”Don’t, don’t, don’t, please let me take it easy, seeing you using a hero unit today is enough to surprise me.”

But what Guo Xiuwen didn’t expect was that Taxes didn’t follow him to check the territory.

Instead, he directly waved his hand to express his refusal.

When Guo Xiuwen was stunned, the other party said one more sentence.

”Anyway, you can use any means during the competition. I’m not in the mood now. I have some good cards. I’ll use them well during the competition.”

Guo Xiuwen was a little puzzled, mainly because the other party’s words were cloudy, and it seemed a little convoluted.

It seems that he wants to keep some cards for himself, or he really doesn’t want to be frightened by surprise anymore.

In short, after Tux finished speaking, he didn’t even continue to stay in his territory, but returned directly with the pack team using the teleportation array.

Looking at the many pack teams leaving, Taxes, who stayed at the end, waved to Guo Xiuwen.

”There is a little more than a week before the competition. You have to prepare well. Also, be careful these days. Even though the trials are over, if there is a problem with the choice’s own strength, there will still be substitutes to join. And don’t look at the contestants from the same camp, sometimes they will become competitors.”

After finishing speaking, Tux was teleported and disappeared.

”She pretended to be secretive, but she was afraid of leaking the secret, which shocked me.”

When Guo Xiuwen heard Tux’s last sentence, he understood why the other party didn’t look at his cards.

Obviously, there must be people from other forces in Feilong Ridge among the pack team that came today.

Tuckers was afraid that other aboriginal nobles might be tempted to change their minds after seeing his hole cards.

And what the other party reminded me at the end was that he was worried that someone might take risks in the past two weeks, causing his own strength to be greatly damaged and then he would not be able to participate in the competition.

Guo Xiuwen is not too worried about this.

After all, no matter what, his own strength in the trials was exaggerated enough.

Besides, I was participating in the competition on behalf of the swamp camp, and my strength was obviously stronger, so the rational aboriginal nobles of the swamp camp would not attack me.

As for being irrational.

An irrational guy is definitely not very strong, so there is no need to worry too much.

Of course, it is still necessary to be defensive. If there are really strong and irrational guys who can’t understand me, then fight them.

Thinking of this, Guo Xiuwen hurried to the barracks.

He looked at the silver barracks one after another, and then stood in front of the wolf cavalry camp and the refugee camp, not knowing how to make a decision for a moment.

There is only one barracks upgrade token, so naturally one can only temporarily upgrade a barracks from the silver rank to the gold rank.

But Guo Xiuwen has been thinking about which barracks to choose for several days, but he still hasn’t fully figured it out.

The two barracks have their own advantages, and it is really difficult for him to choose.

There is no need to say more about the wolf cavalry barracks. As long as it is upgraded to the gold rank, then Guo Xiuwen recruits one soldier, which is equivalent to recruiting two soldiers.

He even wondered that the other barracks only had one silver-ranked soldier every time they appeared, but the wolf cavalry could recruit five a week, so it might have been blessed by the goddess of nature.

Taxes warned himself before that it usually took four or five weeks for a gold rank barracks to recruit a single soldier.

Guo Xiuwen guessed that according to the current number of wolf cavalry camps that can be recruited, it is very likely that after upgrading, he will be able to recruit one a week.

Since the wolf cavalry camp has so many benefits, it stands to reason that Guo Xiuwen doesn’t need to think about it anymore, he can just choose to upgrade.

But the wolf cavalry is not without shortcomings.

Among other things, the gray wolf’s strength is naturally good, but the price of the beast’s strength is that it is difficult to communicate and cannot master other professions.

Elves can change jobs, but in terms of combat effectiveness, compared with other soldiers of the same level, it can be said that they are more comprehensive in ability, but it can also be said that they are relatively mediocre in all aspects.

Even Aliya actually has the same troubles in this regard.

Her strength is good, but her focus is on healing and bonuses to other soldiers. In terms of beheading, she may not be as good as the Golden Tiger.

The same is true for other elves. They have strong shooting skills, and their lethality is not low. They also have healing skills, so there is no need to worry about durability.

But in terms of the final word, it’s still a bit short.

Although it is said that you can also use the opponent’s healing skills to spend time slowly grinding the enemy to death, Guo Xiuwen knows that sometimes some battles are often over at the beginning. If the difference in strength is too large, it is difficult to even heal in time keep up.

This is why Guo Xiuwen will consider the issue of refugee camps.

There are so many benefits to refugee camps.

First of all, the fact that any gold-ranked soldiers can randomly appear in the refugee camp is very attractive.

Not to mention anything else, for example, the lowest level of the five-color dragon is the gold level. In other words, if the refugee camp is upgraded to the gold level, Guo Xiuwen may have a giant dragon soldier.

And unlike other barracks, the soldiers that can be recruited in the refugee camp will be refreshed every week.

Therefore, Guo Xiuwen guessed that the refugee camp is likely to be the same as the wolf cavalry camp, and recruitable soldiers will appear every week.

With this advantage, refugee camps may actually be more effective.

Guo Xiuwen may not be able to make a final decision on the wolf cavalry camp, and there is a high possibility that he will appear in the refugee camp.

Seems like refugee camps have so many benefits, so why not upgrade them right away.

Naturally, the biggest problem in refugee camps is randomness.

It is true that if the refugee camp is given enough time to refresh every week, it is likely that many powerful soldiers that Guo Xiuwen hopes will appear.

But you must know that the competition of the seven major forces will be arranged before the adaptation period passes.

The adaptation period is a total of four weeks, and it is now the Friday of the third week.

That is to say, even if it is arranged on the last day of the adaptation period, which is next Sunday.

With full play and full calculation, after the refugee camp is upgraded, it can be refreshed at most twice.

Can the arms that Guo Xiuwen expects appear twice?

Even though Guo Xiuwen was very confident about his luck, he still didn’t dare to have too much expectation, after all, there were too many gold rank soldiers.

In the same rank, the number of powerful soldier types is definitely far behind that of ordinary soldier types.

Although when it comes to the gold rank, any soldier is much stronger than the silver rank soldier.

But more importantly, wolf cavalry, among other things, at least recruited for the first time when upgrading, guaranteed to get two gold-rank soldiers.

Although Guo Xiuwen said that the Absolute Elves lack the fighting power to make a final decision.

But Gray Wolf’s strength is definitely not much worse, not to mention that with the blessing of the elves, one plus one is greater than two.

And although Guo Xiuwen himself was a little dissatisfied with the strength of the elves.

But compared to some weaker gold rank soldiers.

Regardless of whether it is a gray wolf or an elf, in terms of combat effectiveness, it can definitely be ranked in the middle among gold rank soldiers.

If they are calculated together, they will be able to rank in the forefront.

So in fact, what Guo Xiuwen is struggling with now is whether to choose a stable wolf cavalry camp and steadily improve his own strength.

Or choose to bet on the refugee camp, and then before the game starts, if you are lucky, you will get a big killer, if you are not lucky, you will not get it.

To put it simply, it is whether to choose stability or risk.

Before making a choice, Guo Xiuwen looked at the silver rank soldiers he had, 66 of them.

With so many soldiers, it stands to reason that they should be able to support themselves to take risks.

But after thinking about it, he decided to hold on.

Tuckers has a good point.

Before the game starts, or even if the game is over, it’s hard to say whether the aboriginal nobles or lords of the swamp camp will attack themselves, but when they finish their appearance in the competition of the seven major forces, the enemies of the cemetery camp will not say 100% , and there is at least a 90.00% chance of doing it yourself.

All Guo Xiuwen decided or hoped to upgrade his territory again as soon as possible.

After his territory has been promoted to the silver rank, the gold rank barracks will only have resource limitations for him.

But the speed at which he can earn resources is much simpler than that of other lords.

Among other things, whether other lords are recruiting soldiers or upgrading their territories or barracks, what restricts them is not only the amount of resources, but also the types of resources.

But these restrictions are almost non-existent to Guo Xiuwen.

Because whether he is recruiting soldiers or upgrading the territory or barracks, except for the very rare heart of the lair and the heart of the territory, other types of troubles do not need to be considered at all.

It was precisely this that allowed him to stay ahead of other lords during the novice and adaptation periods.

So Guo Xiuwen still wants to continue to maintain this advantage.

In order to maintain this advantage, the most important thing at present is to increase the level of the territory.

When upgrading the territory to Bronze Rank, Guo Xiuwen was attacked by Silver Rank soldiers.

Now that he wants to upgrade his territory to the silver rank, he can be 100% sure that there will definitely be gold rank enemies by then.

For now, although he didn’t ask Taxes, at least how many gold-ranked soldiers will be prepared by then.

However, considering the characteristics of the wolf cavalry camp and the refugee camp, Guo Xiuwen still felt that the number of soldiers he got in the wolf cavalry camp could more quickly satisfy his desire to resist the attack of wild monsters.

So thinking of this, he made a decision.

Upgrade the wolf cavalry camp first.

After all, betting on dogs has always had no future.

After making a decision, Guo Xiuwen walked up to the wolf cavalry camp and chose to upgrade.

[Ding, it is detected that the level of the barracks is silver, and the level of the territory is bronze. It has reached the upper limit of the level of the barracks that can be upgraded in the territory. The upgrade failed! 】

As expected, it was not beyond Guo Xiuwen’s expectation. It was impossible for him to directly choose to upgrade the barracks.

So he decisively took out the barracks upgrade token, and chose to upgrade again.

[Ding, the barracks upgrade token was detected. This token can break through the territory level limit, upgrade a barracks by one level, and increase the resources for upgrading the barracks by [-] times. Do you choose to continue upgrading the barracks!whether! 】

Guo Xiuwen did not hesitate and directly chose to upgrade.

[Ding, upgrading the gray wolf lair requires: 20 lair hearts (black iron), 200 million units of food, 200 million units of wood, 200 million units of stones, 200 million units of iron ore, 20 soul crystals (black iron) , 20000 units of crystal, 20000 units of mountain copper, 20000 units of mithril, and 20000 units of gemstones. Are you sure to upgrade?whether】

Seeing the resources needed, to be honest, Guo Xiuwen almost knelt down.

With a full twenty-fold improvement, the resources Feilongling gave him are really just a drop in the bucket, that is, there are a little more rare resources.

In terms of basic resources, even a fraction is not counted.

Fortunately, fortunately, only the resources were improved. If even the heart of the lair needed to be increased twenty times, it would be impossible for him to upgrade the barracks to the gold level at this time.

Fortunately, fortunately, Guo Xiuwen has a resource management system.

[The resource management system is activated, and the demand is halved! 】

[Successful replacement during resource replacement! 】

【Ding! The wolf cavalry camp is being upgraded.]

Under Guo Xiuwen’s expectant eyes, the wolf cavalry camp, which was already shining with crystal light, had undergone another huge change at this time.

The first is the crystal statue at the front, filled with golden light from the inside to the outside.

The golden light quickly rendered the entire statue, and both the giant wolf and the elf on the giant wolf’s back changed from transparent crystal to solid gold color.

Then even the scenery around the camp and the entire camp were covered by golden light.

When the golden light dissipated, no, since then the golden light has replaced everything before.

A golden barracks appeared in front of Guo Xiuwen.

Guo Xiuwen was not fascinated by the golden light, he clicked on the property of the barracks as soon as the barracks was upgraded.
