Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 191

Chapter 191 Breaking into the Top [-]

Because if it’s the second type, doesn’t it mean that most of the participating lords know that if they get more soldiers in the hunting grounds.

Guo Xiuwen didn’t believe that these aborigines didn’t know about it.

So it is very likely that they can adjust the drop rate of the soldier scroll, so during the game, they will reduce the drop rate of this thing.

However, Guo Xiuwen didn’t pay too much attention to this matter.

After all, the reduction in the drop rate actually has more advantages than disadvantages for him.

On the contrary, if there is something he doesn’t know that increases the drop rate of the summoning scroll, he will fall into a passive and unfavorable situation.

After all, at present, judging from the number of soldiers he has mastered, among the current lords, even if they are not number one, they are definitely in the forefront.

If other lords could get stronger as they fought in the hunting grounds, wouldn’t he be more passive?

Then Guo Xiuwen discovered another problem that he had neglected.

That is, the Great Elder didn’t tell himself the time of this knockout match.

The other party just said that the game should be completed before the end of the adaptation period.

In this way, there are less than 36 hours before the end of the adaptation period.

But apart from the first knockout round, there will be qualifying rounds later.

Calculated in this way, it is estimated that the time of the knockout round is at most 24 hours, and it may even be only twelve hours.

Guo Xiuwen thought that it had been an hour since he arrived, but now he had killed less than two wild monsters.

In this way, it seems that it is a bit difficult to catch up with No.1.

Thinking of this, he quickly stopped his fantasies and led the soldiers wandering on the prairie.

ka ka ka-

Soon, a group of familiar skeletons appeared in front of Guo Xiuwen.

There are not many skeletons, about 50 or so.

Seeing them, Guo Xiuwen immediately waved to them as if seeing old friends.

It’s a pity that he was winking at the blind man, and these skeletons rushed towards him bitterly and bitterly.

As a last resort, Guo Xiuwen could only ask his soldiers to send them to reincarnation again.

”Hey guys, is this the turn of events?”

After getting another summoning scroll, Guo Xiuwen couldn’t help complaining.

However, when he continued to harvest a summoning scroll, he also discovered another thing, that is, killing the skeleton wild monster in the past would result in the harvest of bones, which is almost regarded as collecting corpses.

But in the hunting ground, he did not get this kind of harvest.

Of course, he didn’t pay too much attention to this issue, but continued to lead the soldiers aimlessly forward.

Not to mention, this kind of mobile combat really avoided the situation where the number of wild monsters encountered continued to increase.

It’s not all without its downsides, though.

If you stand in place and wait for the wild monsters to arrive, there will usually be a wave of wild monsters in ten to twenty minutes.

But in such a wandering battle, it’s hard to tell when you will encounter wild monsters.

For example, he fought and walked with the eagle just now, and it took more than half an hour, during which he did not encounter other wild monsters.

And after he wiped out the eagle, he walked for more than ten minutes before encountering this group of skeletons.

Afterwards, he continued to swim, and after walking for more than half an hour, he didn’t even encounter a single wild monster.

This even made the original 140 two-point hunting points in a row rush to the top 30 rankings, but fell back to the top 40s again.

It seems that after the lords of the swamp camp entered, other lords have also been exerting their strength.

The ranking of the top ten lords has not changed too much. On the contrary, the ranking changes between the forty and twenty can change every moment.

Guo Xiuwen actually knew the reason for such a change.

Because among the forty to twenty lords, the lowest forty lords currently have more than three hundred hunting points, while the No. 20 lords currently have less than five hundred hunting points.

In other words, between the 21 rankings, the difference in hunting points is only less than [-] points.

On average, the difference in hunting points between a ranking is less than ten points.

And ten hunting points, for any lord participating in the competition, is just a wave of wild monsters.

So it is easy to understand why the ranking fluctuates so much.

Guo Xiuwen walked for another ten minutes. Seeing that his ranking dropped a few more times, but he still didn’t encounter wild monsters, he could only choose to wait in place with his soldiers.

Another ten minutes passed.

boom boom boom boom-

And Guo Xiuwen guessed right, when he chooses to stand still and wait, as long as he waits enough time, the expected wild monster will arrive as scheduled.

And to his surprise, the number of wild monsters that appeared this time was only twelve.

Seeing the twelve wild boars appearing in the distance, Guo Xiuwen didn’t pay much attention to them. He saw them being surrounded by soldiers, and soon he himself received a system prompt.

With this experience, Guo Xiuwen’s next battle became smoother.

After killing the wild boar, he continued to wait in place for two groups of wild monsters.

The number of wild monsters in the second wave is 27, and the number of wild monsters in the third wave is 61.

After killing the third wave of wild monsters, Guo Xiuwen led the soldiers and began to shift positions.

During the period, he encountered another wave of wild monsters with only three numbers, so he simply waited in place again.

Just stop and go like this, ten hours passed in no time.

call--

In order to quickly kill the eighty ghosts, Guo Xiuwen himself joined the battle.

After killing the last ghost, he deliberately opened the hunting leaderboard that he hadn’t paid attention to for a long time, and checked the ranking on it.

[No. 1: Cemetery, bone killing, 1952 points! 】

[No. 2: Cemetery, Youyou, 1912 points! 】

[No.20: Marsh, Guo Xiuwen, 998 points]

God is pitiful, after struggling for so long, he finally made it to the top [-] for the first time.

At the same time, Guo Xiuwen finally understood why No.1 and No.2 already had more than 300 hunting points and more than 100 hunting points when he entered the hunting ground.

Why did he get close to [-] hunting points in less than an hour after he arrived.

The reason for this is that he killed a lot in a row, and then encountered it when the hunting value was close to [-].

That time, he didn’t even kill all the wild monsters. Suddenly, a large group of wild monsters appeared in all directions, and there were even several golden ranks among them.

During Guo Xiuwen’s stop, several undead soldiers were killed. Even with the talent of immortality, he still lost a burning blood skeleton soldier.

At that time, too many enemies suddenly appeared, and Guo Xiuwen was unprepared. After a hasty fight, several soldiers directly confronted the gold-rank wild monsters alone.

Facing wild monsters one level higher than himself, even though Guo Xiuwen raised the soldier’s level in time, he still failed to save the soldier’s life in the end.

Even if it weren’t for the fact that he had enough gold rank soldiers in his hands.

In that battle, his loss was not one, but at least double digits.

After entering the hunting ground and fighting for so long, Guo Xiuwen also harvested four soldier summoning scrolls.

Calculated in this way, when the hunting value reaches a critical node, if you don’t pay attention, it may cause losses to the soldiers under you.

So in the next battle, when he saw that the value was approaching [-], he chose to get stuck.

In the end, he chose a group of eighty ghosts, and his hunting value reached nine hundred and ninety-eight points.

At the same time, he deliberately glanced at the bottom of the leaderboard, and found that with the passage of time, the last dozen or so lords hadn’t moved for a long time, whether it was ranking or hunting points.

This situation inevitably made Guo Xiuwen have some guesses.

That is whether these lords have been wiped out.

It’s just that he is not sure about this guess.

Seeing that his ranking was gradually approaching the key point of one thousand, Guo Xiuwen led the soldiers and began to walk cautiously.

woohoo-

As he was walking, suddenly several voices sounded, and then he found that on the grassland, three frogmen found him, and they were fleeing into the distance.

Guo Xiuwen was overjoyed when he saw the three frogmen.

Of course, he couldn’t let the frogmen run away. With a wave of his hand, two gold-ranked wolf cavalrymen and golden tigers rushed out of the team and chased after the three silver-ranked frogmen.

Whizzing--

Whizzing--

ooh-

A moment later, the three frogmen fell into a pool of blood.

Rumbling--

woohoo-

Choo Choo Choo--

dong dong dong-

Just as Guo Xiuwen killed three frogmen, roars came from all directions, and then he raised his head and looked around.

It was found that there were hundreds of wild boars coming from behind, and there were nearly fifty skeleton soldiers in front.

Nearly a hundred giant eagles and dozens of ghosts also appeared in the sky.

On the left, there are dozens of combinations of headless horsemen and bone horses.

With the previous encounter, Guo Xiuwen knew without guessing that there must be at least four more gold-rank wild monsters hiding in the main force.

Faced with such a strong lineup, Guo Xiuwen is of course impossible to stay and confront the opponent head-on.

So without further ado, he arranged for wolf cavalry to open the way ahead, while ghosts and grieving ghosts hovered above the team to resist danger, and the remaining soldiers withdrew in an orderly manner.

As for himself, of course he took Aliya along with him.

woohoo-

Seeing that Guo Xiuwen was about to escape, the ghost approached him first.

They turned into clouds of black mist, and then wanted to keep the soldiers in Guo Xiuwen’s team by possessing them.

”Hey-”

Of course, Guo Xiuwen can’t let the ghost succeed, and he has already planned for the pursuit of the ghost.

There is no need for him to say anything.

Arya, who was riding on the back of the Frost Giant Wolf, raised her staff and used the Arcanist’s active skill without saying a word.

puff puff puff-

So when the Arcanist’s skills took effect, the ghosts that had just rushed over fell from the sky to the ground like dumplings.

When Arya’s Arcanist skill is actively activated, she can mute all mages around her for 1 minute.

During this 1 minute, all mages who are muted cannot use their skills.

The ghosts themselves are spirit creatures, and all of their strength relies on spells. After being silenced, they immediately became lambs to be slaughtered.

However, in the face of the falling ghosts, whether Guo Xiuwen or the soldiers he led, all of them acted as if they couldn’t see them, and they went straight past them, or stomped them away, without stopping to make up for the knife.

It’s not that Guo Xiuwen doesn’t want to kill them, it’s mainly because the ghosts have the talent of immortality, and they need to be killed twice in a short period of time to be considered an effective kill.

And in this case, it is obviously impossible for him to have time to stay and kill them twice.

That being the case, they naturally wouldn’t do anything unnecessary.

But fortunately, the phenomenon that the ghost was almost wiped out by a single skill immediately scared the giant eagle that was also hovering in the air.

So the opponent continued to hover in the air, and did not take the opportunity to rush up to make trouble for Guo Xiuwen’s evacuated team.

But Aliya’s silence temporarily controlled the ghost, and at the same time frightened the eagle.

However, the Headless Horseman group on the left took advantage of their evacuation and rushed towards this side with their spears held high.

Seeing this situation, Alia stood up.

I saw her waving her staff and casting a seductive light on the headless horseman and bone horse in front of her.

This skill has a wide range of effects. Most of the headless horsemen and bone horses in the front row are seduced and stunned.

Because it was tempted or dizzy, the white bone horse naturally stopped charging.

The white bone horse in front stopped charging, but the white bone horse behind did not stop.

bang bang bang-

For a moment, the bone horse and the headless horseman in the back collided with the bone horse and the headless horseman in front.

Many of the headless horsemen who were holding up their spears and preparing to attack did not even have time to react, so they directly stabbed the weapons in their hands into the bodies of their accomplices in the front.

Seeing such a thrilling traffic accident ahead, the white-boned horse behind him naturally chose to detour to both sides.

And with such a delay, not only did they fail to catch up with Guo Xiuwen and the other evacuated team, they even got farther and farther away from the team.

Seeing that the flying units in the sky and the fastest cavalry on the ground failed to stop him, Guo Xiuwen finally breathed a sigh of relief.

But just when he thought he could safely evacuate with the team, the wild boar not far away suddenly started to accelerate.

rumbling--

The wild boars were already huge, but now they sprinted like moving bulldozers.
