Lin Yi shuddered at the thought.

The more he thought about it, the more he felt that it was possible.

“Let’s hurry up. I feel that something is wrong!”

“Huh? What’s wrong?” Tao Cheng became serious.

After what happened on Quantum, Taocheng felt that Lin Yi’s insight surpassed all of them.

Therefore, he valued his opinion a lot.

“I can’t say. Anyway, let’s hurry up. I’m afraid something will happen.”

“Okay.”

Lin Yi couldn’t tell Tao Chengming about the men in black. He just wanted to get on the boat as soon as possible to avoid any accidents.

In less than twenty minutes, the two of them climbed onto the ship with the electromagnetic climbing equipment.

Thousands of containers were stacked neatly on the cargo ship like a maze of steel.

Tao Cheng pressed the communicator beside his ear and whispered,

“We’re on board. Report target location.”

“F Block, third row. They’re hiding there.”

“Roger that.”

Tao Cheng looked up at Lin Yi and whispered,

“F Zone, third row. Split up, but don’t leave each other’s sight.”

“Okay.”

Compared to the long history of missions, this type support mission was very insignificant.

Therefore, before this, Qiu Yuluo and Ning Che did not expect things to become so complicated. They did not bring too much equipment.

As a result, he could only use such a stupid method to find their target.

After communicating, the two of them looked for the location of F Zone.

However, he turned around every three steps to confirm the other party’s location.

On such a huge cargo ship, as long as there were no special circumstances such as explosions, it was actually very safe.

This was because such a huge cargo ship could not be patrolled at all.

Even if a crew member came over, they would only do a symbolic check. This was the sea, and it was impossible to steal anything with brute force.

Therefore, there was no need to worry at all.

Even so, the two of them were still very cautious.

This was because the people in Team 1 had already signaled that there was danger.

This meant that apart from ordinary seamen, there were also enemies who were their match.

If he was not careful, he might be defeated.

This was especially true for Lin Yi. If he met the man in black again, he wasn’t sure if Tao Cheng would be a match for him.

Secondly, that person was very smart. If he realized that he was no match for him, he could still think of a way to leave.

Therefore, the most important thing now was to ensure the safety of the Bass ore before discussing anything else.

Not long after, Tao Cheng returned to Lin Yi’s side.

“My side is CBA. The DEF should be on your side.”

Lin Yi nodded. The two of them circled back and carefully explored ahead.

Another half an hour passed, and the two of them were still searching carefully.

A gust of wind blew past, as if carrying a cold premonition.

It was like needles piercing into his bones.

“Huh?”

Lin Yi muttered in his heart.

With his sharp sense of smell, he detected the faint scent of blood.

For some reason, Lin Yi felt that this wasn’t an illusion.

They walked about ten meters forward.

Suddenly, Lin Yi stopped!

“What happened?”

Tao Cheng asked with his back facing Lin Yi.

“F-Found them.”

“Really? That’s faster than…”

Tao Cheng suddenly turned around, but before he could finish speaking, his body froze on the spot.

In the middle of the two rows of containers hung two bodies.

The arteries on their wrist were cut open, and blood flowed into the gap of the container like a small river.

A man and a woman. Their faces were pale and their expressions contorted.

The blood on the deck reeked of blood. The cold moonlight made the scene in front of the two of them even more sinister!

It was obvious that after the two of them were captured, they were hung here.

Then, the arteries on their wrist were cut, leaving them to bleed to death!

“Damn it, what on earth…”

“Lower your voice!”

Lin Yi immediately covered Tao Cheng’s mouth.

There were too many questions. The murderer might still be on the ship.

They had to leave as soon as possible before anything happened.

“Don’t think about anything now. It’s more important to finish our mission.”

Lin Yi covered his mouth. He could feel Tao Cheng’s tears flowing onto his fingers.

However, now was not the time to be emotional.

“I’ll bring them down. You go and signal the people below. Get Jiang Qing and the others to drive the ship to our location.”

Tao Cheng nodded, and Lin Yi let him go. The two of them went to work.

Initially, Lin Yi wanted to grab their legs and pull them down.

However, after trying a few times, there was no reaction.

Lin Yi changed his strategy and grabbed the handrail in front of the container door to climb up.

It was only then that he realized their shoulder blades had been hooked by a hook that was hanging from the shipping container.

Whoosh!

Lin Yi took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.

The murderer was too cruel.

To prevent Tao Cheng from seeing this, Lin Yi took off all the hooks hanging from their shoulders and carried them back to the deck.

“Calm down. You’ve been in the Central Guards Brigade for so many years. You should be mentally prepared for these things.”

“I know.”

Tao Cheng had calmed down by now. “I just can’t accept the fact that they sacrificed themselves in such a way.”

Lin Yi patted Tao Cheng’s shoulder. They were all adults, so he didn’t need to comfort him.

“Let’s get to work.” Lin Yi said.

“Take off your clothes and pants and tie them to us. Then get off the ship. Hurry up.”

“Okay.”

Neither of them hesitated. They took off their clothes, hoping to tie the bodies tighter to them.

A few minutes later, Lin Yi and Tao Cheng tied the corpse to themselves, put on the electromagnetic climbing equipment, and got off the ship.

When Jiang Qing and the other two saw their corpses, they were dumbfounded.

She could not believe her eyes at all. It was as if she had been struck by a bolt from the blue, or as if someone had poured a basin of cold water on her from head to toe. Her body went numb and she could not move.

“How, how could this be…” Jiang Qing blurted out.

“This is not the place to talk. Hurry up and drive back. We need to meet up with Qiu Yuluo and Ning Che.”

“Got it,” said the male member, Wang Yong.

The engine revved, and the waves on both sides were parted by the hull.

The atmosphere on the ship was gloomy. No one spoke.

They were so surprised that they could barely breath.

The sound of the cargo ship faded into the distance. Not far away, Qiu Yuluo and Ning Che’s small cruise ship could be seen heading towards Lin Yi.

Meanwhile, Tao Cheng had already informed them in advance that the mission had failed

“Bring them up!” Qiu Yuluo said.

Half an hour later, everyone returned to the ship.

The oppressive atmosphere did not dissipate.

This was a reality that neither Qiu Yuluo nor Ning Che could accept.

“Lin Yi, you’ve been a doctor before. You’re more skilled in performing an autopsy than us. Check them out,” Ning Che said in a low voice.

Lin Yi hesitated for a moment.. “Do you really want to hear the results?”
