Lin Yi didn’t know if it was his imagination or not.

Even though his entire face was covered by a mask, he gave off the feeling that he was smiling!

Facing Lin Yi again, the man in black didn’t choose to escape like the first time.

Instead, he placed the box on the ground and hooked his finger at Lin Yi.

Lin Yi smiled and stretched his wrist, ready to attack at any time.

When he first met him at Yunjian Mountain, he was still at E-class.

And now, the system had given him a D-rank combat power reward. Apart from that, there was also an E-rank combat technique. This greatly increased his strength.

Facing him again, he was not afraid at all!

The man in black was the first to attack. He threw a straight punch.

Lin Yi didn’t dodge and chose to fight head-on!

Their movements were not flashy at all, and their fists soon collided.

The huge force forced the man in black back a step. Then, he subconsciously raised his head and stared at Lin Yi.

No one knew what expression the face under the mask wore, but the clown mask seemed to have become even stranger.

Lin Yi hooked his finger. “Continue. ‘

The black-clothed man moved his wrist. A second later, he launched another attack.

However, this time, Lin Yi’s expression changed drastically.

This was because he discovered that the black man’s speed and strength had increased. The oppressive feeling that flooded his body could only be felt by standing in front of this man.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

In just a few seconds, the two of them exchanged dozens of moves.

Under the black man ‘s fierce attacks, Lin Yi gradually went from attacking to defending. The situation was very disadvantageous to him! At this moment, Lin Yi had already used all his trump cards!

“Here they come!’

While defending, Lin Yi did not choose to simply wait for death.

As he retreated, he searched for an opportunity.

Whoosh!

Lin Yi noticed a flaw and kicked the man in black in the chest.

The latter staggered a few steps back.

At the same time, Lin Yi took out a scalpel and threw it at the man in black.

The man in black could not react in time. A cut was made on his arm, but his muscles and bones were not injured.

“F*ck!”

If the first attack didn’t work, Lin Yi wouldn’t be able to follow up.

The man in black clenched his fists and his aura increased again.

His body flashed, dodging Lin Yi’s attack at an extremely tricky angle.

With a speed as fast as lightning, he gave Lin Yi a solid elbow strike, vividly showcasing a Wing Chun move.

Even with Lin Yi’s physical fitness, he felt like his bones were broken.

The man in black did not continue fighting. After gaining the upper hand, he grabbed the black box and jumped down from the fifth floor. Then, he seemed to use parkour to reach the deck in a few seconds.

By the time Lin Yi reacted and tried to chase after them, it was too late. One was on the fifth floor and the other was on the first floor.

“Damn it, he got away again!”

Lin Yi cursed, feeling indignant.

As a fellow practitioner, he also had a comprehensive understanding of the strength of the man in black.

Previously, when the two of them fought at Yunjian Mountain, this man definitely didn’t use his full strength.

Otherwise, it was impossible for Lin Yi to be in such a sorry state after improving so much during this period of time.

Lin Yi’s mind was filled with questions. He had the system to improve so quickly in such a short period of time, but why did this mysterious man in black also become stronger?

Where did this guy come from?

Lin Yi shook his head. He was already gone, so there was no point in thinking about this anymore.

After that, he entered Caie Mitsui’s room.

However, when he went in, he realized that Caie Mitsui had been knocked unconscious.

In order to prevent his situation from being exposed, Lin Yi lifted Caie Mitsui and left, returning to his room.

About an hour later, Caie Mitsui regained consciousness.

When she saw Lin Yi, her expression was especially surprised.

“Why are you here? Where did that man in black go?”

“I bumped into him, but he escaped while I was unable to catch up. What exactly happened? Can you tell me?”

Lin Yi didn’t reveal the details. He did not intend to tell Caie Mitsui that he knew the entire process and hoped that she would tell him everything.

Caie Mitsui sat up in bed and rubbed her temples, trying to recall what had just happened.

“Actually, I don’t know what happened. I was already asleep, but I didn’t sleep well when I was soon woken by a noise outside. When I got up, I saw a masked man in black rushing into my room.”

Whoosh!

Caie Mitsui took a breath, trying to calm herself down. “You saw what happened after that. He took my things.”

“Didn’t you try to stop it?” “No.” Caie Mitsui said, “That man in black was too strange. I didn’t dare to act rashly. What happened next only reaffirmed my instincts. He didn’t even give me a chance to draw my gun before knocking me out. ‘ “Could it have been one of Jimmy’s accomplices? Was he playing dirty?”

“That’s unlikely.” Caie Mitsui said,

“If they really had such plans, they wouldn’t have to do the deal with me at all. They could have just come over and snatched the goods directly.”

“You’re right,” Lin Yi agreed casually.

“Mr. Lin, what about you? Why are you here?”

“I was discussing business with someone on the fifth floor. When I left after I was done, I happened to see the man in black coming out of your room. I chased after him and then checked on you. You know what happened after that. After you fainted, I carried you back.” Lin Yi said.

“As for your female assistant, you don’t have to worry. I’ve already asked the doctor on the ship to take her away. She has a fracture and concussion. Although it’s a little serious, she’s not in any danger.” “Thank you, Mr. Lin.”

“It’s no big deal. How are you going to handle this?”

“There’s no way to deal with it.” Caie Mitsui shook her head.

“I don’t know anything about him. I don’t know where to start. Even if there are surveillance cameras on the ship, the chances of me finding out the truth are slim.’

Lin Yi didn’t comment on Caie Mitsui’s decision. Even he couldn’t do anything to this masked man, so how could Caie Mitsui discover anything?

But now, one thing was certain.

The purpose of the black-clothed man’s appearance was to obtain the Bass ore!

It had happened on Yunjian Mountain, and now it was like this!

If Bath ore appeared again next time, he might show himself once again.

However, the sad thing was that unless Lin Yi’s skills improved greatly in a short period of time, the outcome would still be the same when they met again. There would be nothing he could do..
