Shen Shuyi didn’t care about words like “son-in-law” or “mother-in-law”.

Instead, she asked,

‘Who do you think controls the future of the semiconductor industry?”

“The younger generation. There is no doubt, it is in the hands of the younger generation.”

‘Where did this self-confidence come from?”

Lin Yi nodded and tilted his head to Shen Shuyi’s side.

“It’s been almost ten months since Director Shen returned. Guess how much money I spent on the photolithography machine?’

“How much?”

“58.3 billion. It’ll cost me 200 million a day. Not a single cent is subsidized by the higher-ups.” Lin Yi smiled.

“Among the people present, who would dare to squander resources like this? I don’t even think they have so many assets. ‘

Shen Shuyi was shocked when she heard the figure of 58.3 billion.

She didn’t expect ???????????? to invest so much money.

And most importantly, this was only throughout a ten-month investment.

She had no idea how much money he would burn in the future.

‘When the photolithography machine project is made public, it will definitely bring you more than 58.3 billion yuan. It might even bring you ten times the return.”

“If there’s really such a high return, the people here would all rush to do it like mad dogs. When would I ever get the chance to do it?” Lin Yi said.

“I’m doing this out of my own interest. In layman’s terms, it’s a passion project.”

As he spoke, Lin Yi couldn’t help but laugh. “Aunt Shen, to be honest, if I had this mindset before developing the photolithography machine, I wouldn’t have bothered with it. It’s much more comfortable to keep harvesting profits repeatedly, crop after crop. Just the thought of it is exhilarating.”

“So you feel that the future of semiconductors is in the hands of young people?”

“You’re right. While capitalists talk about money, it’s only the ‘leeksO’ who talk about passion. But one day, when these ‘leeks’ have money, that’s when passion will come into play.”

“And what will you do then?’

smiled and stretched out four fingers.

“Up until now, I’ve invested in more than 40 semiconductor-related companies. Although many of them ended up flopping, I believe that under the connection of the photolithography machine, half of these 40 companies will be able to soon stand strong. In less than ten years, the future of the semiconductor industry will be in my hands. Of course, if the powers to be crush me, I won’t live long. Just like Boss Ma, who a few days ago acted big but was immediately suppressed by the regulatory department.”

Shen Shuyi was stunned for a moment.

It wasn’t that Lin Yi’s strategic vision was crazy, but that she had unknowingly been dragged into the trap.

Huaxia was a socialist country, and the will of the common people was the main focus.

Lin Yi had invested in so many companies, and with his strategic vision and the support of his subordinates, the lifeline of Huaxia’s semiconductor industry was very likely to be in his hands.

However, monopolization was not feasible in Huaxia.

Despite this, this kid actually dragged her into this.

Huarun Group was a company with a state-owned background.

If ???? were to control it, people would accuse it of being a monopoly, but in her hands, this claim fell flat.

Therefore, as long as he did not court death, Lin Yi’s future would be smooth sailing.

Even if he didn’t want to be the richest man, this crown might unknowingly land on his head.

“I’m guessing that in the future, you ‘Il arrange for Lingyun Group to be listed, but you won’t allow foreign investment.”

“Aunt Shen is smart. I’ve prepared 30% of the shares for Huarun Group. I won’t take a single cent.”

Lin Yi’s words confirmed Shen Shuyi’s guess.

He gave the shares to Huarun Group because he wanted this umbrella.

At that time, no one would dare to touch him.

“30% is definitely not possible. 51% is more reasonable.”

Lin Yi shrugged. “l don’t care. It’s fine as long as we have different types of rights. I must still have the final say in the company.”

“You’re really smart.”

“Thank you for your compliment, Aunt Shen.”

Shen Shuyi sighed in her heart.

Lin Yi’s intelligence was greater better than Lin Jingzhan’s.

That silly girl, Ruoxu, would definitely not be able to win against him.

‘When you go on stage later, go and say a few words. It might very well inspire the semiconductor industry.”

“I’m not going to enlighten them.” Lin Yi said.

“The forty-odd companies I invested in are enough to inspire me for a while. If I inspire others, won’t I be training my own enemies? I can’t let others become obstacles in my path to monopolization.”

“That’s true. The photolithography machine project is too important. Your identity shouldn’t be exposed too early. It’s better to keep a low profile.” Shen Shuyi took off her coat. Lin Yi took the initiative to help her hang it on the chair behind her.

“By the way, what did Director Shen say? When will we get another update?”

“It’ll probably take a few more months. There are no major hurdles. However , at this stage, we can only catch up to the platform power level. It will take at least another two to three years to fully surpass it. ‘

“It’s enough to be able to follow the reviews. We won’t get choked by others, ‘ Shen Shuyi said.

“Being able to match the platform power level is sufficient, so at least we won’t be held back by others. But I’m curious, how did you manage to get hold of the rights for global procurement? Even with shares in Intel and Cymer, it’s not an easy task,” said Shen Shuyi.

Lin Yi leaned close to Shen Shuyi’s ear and whispered for several minutes.

At first, Shen Shuyi’s expression remained calm, but after hearing Lin Yi’s description, her expression unexpectedly turned surprised.

“Kid, you’re really a wild horse. How did you come up with so many ideas?” “As long as your mind doesn’t slip, there are always more solutions than difficulties.”

Shen Shuyi smiled, appreciating Lin Yi’s intelligence.

If this continued, no one in Huaxia would dare to touch him in the future. Moreover, he had even joined the Central Guards Brigade, which could be considered a yardstick of extreme success.

If he ever did something out of line, he would die the most tragic death.

However, from the looks of the current situation, everything was developing in a good direction.

As the two of them chatted, the number of people in the venue gradually increased.

All the big shots were present.

Lin Yi glanced at the people sitting in the row. All of them were expressionless and had a strong aura.

Lin Yi felt that these people’s statuses were almost comparable to Shen Shuyi and the Liang family.

“In situations like this, don’t look around casually. Maintain a proper demeanor,” Shen Shuyi said.

Lin Yi reluctantly sat back down.

“These people are far behind Shen Shuyi in terms of appearance. What’s with their looks? Each one of them looks like they’re wearing masks of agony,” he muttered.

“I’m already in my fifties. Stop bluffing me.”

“I’m not bluffing,” Lin Yi said.

“Look at these people sitting in the first row. All of them look like their family members have just died. They have such moody faces. If I didn’t know better I’d think they were here to visit a grave.”

“Even if it’s a grave visit, it will be yours they’re visiting.” “Huh? I missed the part where I’m the one in trouble.”

Shen Shuyi looked around.

“Excluding ourselves, there are a total of 21 chairs in the first row. Fifteen of those seats are occupied by people from the courtyard, and 13 of them have sons that were beaten up by you a few nights ago. Do you think they will be happy?”
