“Huh? Is there a need to explain?”

Tao Cheng nodded. “In the eyes of most people, the answer to these two questions is 1/2.”

“Didn’t you say it before? This is a logical thinking question, and this is the test to enter the Central Guards Brigade. If there’s a question that most people can answer correctly, there won’t be any logical reasoning to think of. This test is too childish,” Lin Yi said.

“Therefore, even if you don’t know the answer, it’s inappropriate to write 1/2.” Liu Hong and Cao Jiadu nodded in satisfaction.

Even if his answer was wrong, the fact that he could deduce this meant that the flexibility of his thinking had already far exceeded that of a large number of people.

Lin Yi’s answer made the others realize.

They were really careless when answering the questions.

Tao Cheng nodded. His thoughts were similar to Liu Hong and Cao Jiadu ‘s.

“Then why don’t you explain the first question first? From a biological point of view, the probability of the second child being a boy and a girl is the same. Why did you say it’s a third?”

“Because the conditions have already been given. A random sample of one hundred couples with a second child. According to the pattern, twenty-five of the couples have two boys, twenty-five have two girls, twenty-five have an older brother and a younger sister, and twenty-five have an older sister and a younger brother.”

“According to the question, they already have a boy. The 25 families with two girls can be excluded. After this, the probability of the other child being a boy is

25/75, which is 1/3.”

Hearing Lin Yi’s explanation, the other 35 people began to think.

Some people quickly understood the reasoning.

The rest of them were still racking their brains, as if they could not figure out what was happening.

However, Lin Yi had already explained it, and they still didn’t understand. This indicated a problem with their intelligence.

“This calculation process is completely fine,” Tao Cheng said. “What about the second question?”

“That’s even simpler.” Lin Yi said.

“There are a total of three doors. Behind one of them is the car. Behind the other two are goats, so the probability of finding a car is one in three. The probability of finding a goat is two in three.”

Hearing this, everyone nodded in unison. They all understood, and there was no problem here.

“Then, you opened a door with a goat behind it. This left only one of the two remaining doors hiding the goat, but its probability is constant, so the answer will remain as two-thirds. Therefore, the probability of opening door number three and finding the car is two-thirds.”

“That’s great!”

Liu Hong cheered, “Reasonable and well-founded, not bad.”

After hearing this, not only did the participants come to a realization, but even

Qiu Yuluo looked at Lin Yi in a new light.

How did this guy’s head grow?

His thoughts were actually so clear?

At this moment, Liu Hong walked in front of everyone and said,

“Now, the trial has ended. In a while, we will choose the top twelve candidates to join the Central Guards Brigade according to your overall results and age.

Thank you for your efforts over the past few days. You are dismissed now.” “Chief, don’t we need to do a separate combat test?” Yuan Hao asked.

According to his previous results, he had already calculated and found that he would be ranked 13th.

It was impossible for him to enter the twelve-man list.

Therefore, he was unwilling to accept this.

“Actually, at the beginning, we were prepared to add this test to the trial, but it was canceled.” Liu Hong said.

“This is because we know your situation very well. Your standards are all about the same, so such a test is not very meaningful. These three days of tests can better reflect your future development and potential, which is why we canceled the actual combat drill.”

Liu Hong’s answer rendered Yuan Hao speechless, and it also shattered his last bit of hope.

He could only stand on the spot resentfully, feeling indignant.

“If there are no questions, you are dismissed now. ‘

With that, Liu Hong looked at Lin Yi, “Come with me.”

Lin Yi nodded and returned to the office with Liu Hong and the others.

Compared to the training ground, the atmosphere here was much more relaxed. Liu Hong smiled and said,

“As expected, you didn’t disappoint me. You ranked first in all aspects. From now on, you’ll be a member of the Central Guards Brigade.”

“Do you have any plans for the future?” Lin Yi asked.

“Like training missions or something?”

“If there’s a mission, we’ll notify you three days in advance. After receiving the mission, we’ll gather here to prepare.” Liu Hong said.

“Understood. ”

Lin Yi was very satisfied with the arrangements of the Central Guards Brigade. When there was a mission, they would gather. When there was no mission, they would disband. It was very humane.

“If there’s anything else you want to know, you can ask me now.”

Liu Hong really appreciated Lin Yi. He had the feeling that Lin Yi’s future was limitless.

The future Central Guards Brigade might really be in his and Wang Mian’s hands.

“No, everything’s fine. ‘

“By the way, there’s one more thing I have to tell you in advance,” Liu Hai said.

“From now on, you’ll be a member of Team 2. When the time comes, new members will join as well. You have to cooperate well and strive to obtain more battle merits to contribute to the country.”

‘Wait, Team 2?”

Lin Yi tilted his head and looked at Qiu Yuluo. “I’m in the same group as her?”

“That’s right. She’s the leader of Team 2. Her abilities and standards are not bad. She can even be ranked among the top members in the Central Defence Brigade. ‘

“Can I change my team? I feel like she is quite abnormal.”

‘Who are you calling abnormal?!”

“Enough!” Liu Hong said.

“You’re already an adult, but you’re still so impatient. You know Lin Yi’s situation. He’ll definitely become a huge force in Team 2 in the future. Go ahead and rejoice. Ask Ning Che what she thinks. I’ve been friends with him for a long time, but I didn’t give her anything. In any case, this matter is settled.

Let’s head back.”

Since Liu Hong had spoken, Qiu Yuluo did not dare to say anything else.

Although she didn’t like Lin Yi very much, she had to admit that his level was very high. Joining Team 2 could genuinely greatly increase their combat effectiveness.

After looking at the big picture, Qiu Yuluo did not say anything else.

As for the incident surrounding her younger brother being beaten up, there was nothing more she could do about it.

Walking out of Liu Hong’s office, Lin Yi looked at the time. Although the trial had ended, he couldn’t leave yet.

There was a semiconductor summit tomorrow. He had to stay in Yanjing for a day and attend it.

At the same time, after the trial, Zhang Hui, Guo Qingkun, and Yuan Hao gathered together and smoked in the car.

“Haozi, you don’t seem to have much hope.” Guo Qingkun said.

“Although I don’t know what his test results were on the first day, I don’t think it’d be too bad. It won’t be a problem for him to be selected to join the Central Guards Brigade. You are most likely in danger..”
