“Raising pigs? ‘

“She’ll be here soon. Ask her if you don’t believe me.”

“There’s no need to ask. With my senior sister’s personality, she might indeed do such a thing.” He Yuanyuan said, “You should go and cook. I’m starving.”

“If your Old Gao wants to eat stewed goose in an iron pot, I’ll provide the skills and iron pot, and you’ll provide the goose.”

“I’m not from this village. Where do you want me to go?’

“Figure it out.”

This was not difficult for He Yuanyuan.

Goose was something that everyone had. They just needed to buy one.

He Yuanyuan stood up and walked to the wall of the courtyard. She said to the middle-aged woman in the courtyard next door,

“Sister, do you have any big geese in your family? Can you sell one to us?’

The middle-aged woman who was feeding the chickens looked at He Yuanyuan. “Yes, but they’re not big. It’s not time to kill them yet. Go to someone else’s house and take a look.”

“It’s fine. Smaller meat is delicious. How much is one more?”

The middle-aged woman smiled. “If you really want them, I’ll give you two for

150 yuan.’

“Alright.” He Yuanyuan said, “Sister, what’s your WeChat number? I’ll scan it.”

“There’s no hurry. We’re living in the neighborhood. You can even pay me later.” The woman said, “Looking at the two of you, you should be from the city.”

“That’s right.” He Yuanyuan said, ‘My boyfriend is sick and has a weak back. He can’t exert much strength, so he came here to recuperate. He wanted to eat more green food, which is why we are farming.”

Lin Yi was speechless.

‘He Yuanyuan, I’ll f*ck your ancestors.’

The middle-aged woman looked at Lin Yi thoughtfully, “Then you really have to take good care of yourself. You’re so young, so you have to take care of yourself.”

“I know, that’s why I brought him here.”

“Then take good care. Although we’re not as well off as the city, the food here is definitely good. Don’t worry and eat. ‘

“Thank you, Big Sister.”

“There’s no need to be so polite. Just you wait. I’ll go catch a big goose for you.” “He Yuanyuan, do you believe that I can throw you into a fire pit and burn you? ‘

“Aiya, did I have any other choice?’ He Yuanyuan said.

‘Why would a handsome man and beautiful woman like us come to such a place if we don’t have a good reason?”

‘You’re right. I have to introduce Gao Zongyuan to Big Sister later.”

“F*ck, you are framing Old Gao.”

Not long after, the big sister caught two big geese. They were not big, but the meat was definitely tender.

“Our masters aren’t at home. Otherwise, we’d help you kill them.” The middle-aged woman said.

‘When you kill them later, don’t throw the duck blood away. That’s good stuff. Also, in this pocket are potatoes planted by our family. When you stew the goose, put these in the pot. They’re delicious.”

“Alright, thank you, Big Sis.”

Although He Yuanyuan was dressed like an urban beauty, it was easy for her to catch a goose with her bare hands.

The things were ready, and the rest of the work fell on Lin Yi.

In less than 20 minutes, the preparatory work was done. With that, the dish was ready to be stewed.

Not long after, a Toyota Alfa drove to the courtyard door.

However, Ji Qingyan and Gao Zongyuan were not the only ones who came down. Qin Han and Liang Jinming also came.

“Brother Lin, what triggered you to come here?’ Liang Jinming asked.

“It’s called structure. You don’t understand. ‘

“You’re pretending to be deep again.’

The few of them laughed and chatted for a while. The goose in the pot was also fully stewed.

He Yuanyuan was very considerate. She sent a plate to the neighbor, deepening the friendship between the neighbors.

“Lin Yi, did you buy me piglets?” Ji Qingyan asked as they ate.

“Senior Sister, you really want to raise pigs?” He Yuanyuan said in shock.

With outsiders present, Ji Qingyan was a little embarrassed to bring up such a topic.

“I think they’re quite cute. I happen to have the conditions now, so I want to get one to raise.” Ji Qingyan continued, “I’ve even bought the cage and chain.

They’ll be delivered tomorrow.”

‘Well, I have no problem with raising pigs, but have you ever seen anyone raising pigs in a cage?’ He Yuanyuan complained, “You have to build a pigpen, okay?” “I know, but it’s too troublesome, so I brought the cage over.”

“Um.

He Yuanyuan looked at Lin Yi helplessly. It was hard on him to have such a girlfriend.

Creak…

Just as they were discussing the difficulties of raising pigs, they heard the sound of brakes coming from outside the courtyard. It was a large truck carrying many saplings.

“I think the seeds and saplings we ordered this morning have arrived,” He

Yuanyuan said.

‘Your items have been delivered. Come and get the goods,” the driver called out from outside.

“Alright,” He Yuanyuan replied.

Everyone stood up and prepared to help with the goods.

‘Why are these saplings so bare?” Ji Qingyan asked. “Aren’t they all dead?” “I feel the same. It’s as if they’re all dead,” Liang Jinming said.

“Can’t you have some common sense? That’s how fruit saplings are.” He

Yuanyuan said.

“It would be strange if the saplings came with fruit.”

Only then did He Yuanyuan realize that these people from the city actually lacked this much knowledge about the countryside.

After moving the things they had bought into the courtyard, Qin Han and the others did not pay much attention to it and continued to eat and drink.

However, Ji Qingyan was so curious about these things that she didn’t even bother to eat anymore.

“Yuanyuan, what kind of seeds are these?”

“There’s watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, and the rest. They all grew on trees. In short, I bought some common fruits… Hmm? ‘

Just as she was explaining the situation to Ji Qingyan, He Yuanyuan realized that something was amiss.

These seeds were different from the ones she had ordered.

Each of them was very shriveled, just like the wrinkles on an old lady’s face. They were not round at all.

‘What’s wrong?” Ji Qingyan asked.

“I feel that there’s something wrong with these seeds.” He Yuanyuan said.

“Is there a problem?”

Hearing this, Lin Yi turned around and asked, ‘What happened?’ “These seeds are a little dry. They don’t look like good seeds.”

“Could we have been tricked?” Ji Qingyan asked.

“I’m not sure. I didn’t do much farm work when I was young either, but I just feel that there’s something wrong with these seeds.”

“Don’t you know the older sister next door? Can you ask her to take a look?” Ji

Qingyan asked.

He Yuanyuan nodded and took the bag to the wall.

“Big Sis, Big Sis.”

Hearing He Yuanyuan’s greeting, the middle-aged woman walked out.

‘What’s wrong?”

The middle-aged woman hurried over and asked.

‘We just bought some seeds and fruit trees saplings. I think there’s a problem with them. Can you help us take a look?”

“Come, let me take a look” The middle-aged woman grabbed a handful and looked at it first. Then, she smelled it and said, “You were being greedy for a bargain, huh?”
