“That’s Great!”

Lin Yi breathed a sigh of relief. The matter was finally settled.

“When are you coming back?”

“The exact time hasn’t been decided yet. I’m going to talk to my team about it.”

“No need to go through so much trouble. I’ll come back as soon as I can. I have a few people on my side too, and they’re all be under your control.”

!!
“The lithography machine is a very complicated. You have to bring all the connections you can use back with you. That way, you’ll be able to get twice the result with half the effort.”

“Alright then, I won’t be involved in this anymore. Call me before you come back, and I’ll come over to welcome you, Director Shen.”

“Stop calling me Director Shen, I should be calling you President Lin instead.”

“Haha, don’t be like that, I can’t take it.” Lin Yi laughed.

“Alright, we’re done here, I won’t disturb you anymore. Let’s talk when you get back.”

“No problem.”

After hanging up, Lin Yi stretched his back and felt refreshed.

Shen Tianzhuo was coming back, so he had to find time to find a house for him. He could leave the others to their own devices, but he still had to take care of Director Shen.

Lin Yi wasn’t in a hurry to buy a house, though, because Shen Tianzhuo sounded like he wouldn’t be back for a while.

He drove for Didi anyway, so he could buy any house he passed by which struck his fancy. He wasn’t in a hurry.

Lin Yi went back to driving for Didi after eating.

He didn’t drive to Chaoyang Group until 4:30 pm to pick up Ji Qingyan from work.

“Little Yi, you’re here early.”

Lin Yi had just parked his car when he saw Wang Ying come out of the elevator.

She was in a good mood.

“Didn’t you say we were going to your place for dinner tonight? I’m here to pick you up now.”

“I don’t need you to pick me up.” Wang Ying said with a smile:

“I know you’re here to pick up President Ji. Remember to come to my house after you drop her off. I’ll make you some good food tonight.”

“Wait for me at home.”

“I’ll be going now. Don’t forget to come over early.”

“Okay.”

Lin Yi rubbed his chin as he watched Wang Ying drive away.

It wasn’t tiring to be with a woman like her.

Still, he had to keep his head on straight. He knew there were certain lines he could not cross.

This was also why Qin Han said that that a young woman was more attractive than a young girl.

Not long after Wang Ying left, Ji Qingyan came down with a big bag of documents in her hands. She seemed to be struggling a little.

Lin Yi got out of the car and took the documents from Ji Qingyan.

“What are these?”

“There’s recently been an auction for a piece of land. This project is very important to the group. We have to be more serious.” Ji Qingyan looked at Lin Yi with resentment.

“And you won’t let me work overtime at the company, so I’ll have to take it back.”

“Not bad, very obedient. As a reward, I’ve decided to give you a kiss.”

Ji Qingyan smiled as she moved away. “I don’t need it. You just want to take advantage of me.”

The two of them fooled around for a bit, then Ji Qingyan returned to normal.

It was almost time to get off work. It wouldn’t be good if her colleagues saw this.

“Do you want to come over to my place tonight?” After getting into the car, Ji Qingyan asked.

“Actually, I would really like that, but seeing that you have work to do, I feel embarrassed to do so.”

“At least you have a conscience.” Ji Qingyan smiled and said, “I’m busy tonight and can’t accompany you. You can go back to the Jiuzhou Pavillion by yourself. Otherwise, if you stay at my place, I will be easily distracted.”

“Looks like we’ve reached the point where you can’t stop yourself.” Lin Yi said

“No, it’s not that, it’s because you’re an annoying person…”

The two chatted and laughed on the way back to Yunshui Villa.

Lin Yi then drove to Wang Ying’s house.

The timing was perfect.

Dang dang dang…

“Coming…”

Just as he knocked on the door, he heard Wang Ying’s voice coming from inside the house.

The door opened, and Wang Ying opened it while holding a spatula in her hand and dressed in a pair of black lace pajamas.

“Why are you always dressed so skimpily every time I come to your house?” Lin Yi asked.

“I’m afraid you won’t like it if I wear too much.” Wang Ying said.

“I like that reason.” Lin Yi said.

“Alright, go wait inside. The food’s almost ready.” Wang Ying said.

Lin Yi nodded and walked around Wang Ying’s new house.

Since it was bought through internal channels, the price was much lower, so it was quite reasonably-sized.

It measured about 80 square meters. In a place like Zhonghai, one had to be quite well-off to be able to live in such a big house.

About half an hour later, Wang Ying brought the food over.

During this time, Lin Yi wanted to help but was stopped by Wang Ying.

“You’re a man, you just have to enjoy it. How could I let you work while you’re here?”

“In that case, I’m going to enjoy it here.”

“Do you need me to massage your legs or perhaps give you a special massage?”

“You even know how to do that?”

“I definitely don’t know how to do it to others, but it shouldn’t be a problem for me to serve you.”

“Then I’ll really have to enjoy myself later.”

“Sure, I’ll let you relax later.”

The dishes were served, and Wang Ying brought Lin Yi a few bottles of beer, showing her virtuous nature.

The two talked about a lot of things during the meal, but it was all on trivial topics.

Lin Yi also discovered that every time it came to a sensitive topic, such as the source of his income, Wang Ying would cleverly avoid it without asking any more questions.

This made Lin Yi feel more relaxed and at ease with her.

“Go lie down after you’re done eating. I’ll massage your legs.”

“Then I won’t stand on ceremony with you.”

“If you stand on ceremony with me, I’ll hit you.” Wang Ying said with a smile.

Wang Ying naturally couldn’t compare to a professional, but it was still a very comfortable massage.

Lin Yi felt that he wouldn’t have to go to Huaqing Lake anymore. He just needed to come here.

Knock, knock, knock…

Just as Lin Yi closed his eyes to rest and enjoy Wang Ying’s service, he heard a knock on the door.

“Sit here for a while. I’ll go open the door. It might be the neighbor next door.”

Lin Yi didn’t think too much about it. It was either a public official or a neighbor. It wouldn’t be a bad person.

“Lu… Lulu… what are you doing here?”

There was a tall girl standing outside the door. She was about the same height as Wang Ying, and her face was round. She looked cute and naughty, and there was a suitcase next to her, as if she was going to stay here for a long time.

The girl’s name was Wang Lu, and she was Wang Ying’s sister. She had just finished her college entrance exam.

“Are you surprised or are you surprised?”

Wang Lu smiled. “I told our parents not to tell you. I wanted to give you…”

Wang Lu stopped before she could finish.

She saw a handsome man lying on the sofa.

Lin Yi waved his hand awkwardly. “Are you surprised?”
