“Huh?”

The programmers were all stunned. No one expected Lin Yi to say something like that.

“Mr. Lin, you’re going a bit too far, aren’t you?” Carson said.

“A lot of the people here are senior engineers. Do you think we can’t understand the code you wrote?”

“It’s possible that you won’t be able to understand it, so you should better call someone more skilled to save time.”

!!
“Hehehe…”

Carson laughed coldly. “You’d better write it out first so that we don’t waste our leader’s time.”

Lin Yi opened the console and type out the code with one hand.

Why did he do it with one hand?

Of course, it was to show off, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to flex how skilled he was.

Jessica was shocked when she saw Lin Yi’s fingers tapping non-stop on the keyboard like he was playing the piano.

He was so good-looking that he couldn’t possibly be single.

The programmers standing next to him were also shocked by Lin Yi’s typing speed. At the very least, they didn’t have this kind of ability.

“What’s written there? Is it random code?” The black guy said, “I can’t understand it at all. I’ve never seen such code before.”

“Me neither. I think it’s all incorrect code,” the white guy said.

Carson looked at Lin Yi. “Mr. Lin, I hope you don’t make a scene. My colleagues have already said that the code you typed out is all wrong, so you can leave now.”

“I’ve already said that you won’t be able to understand it, yet you still refuse to admit it.”

“The code you wrote is all wrong. How can we check it?”

“Wait!”

Jessica stopped Carson. “I think I’ve seen this code before.”

“What! You’ve seen it before?”

“I’ve seen Director Shen write something similar, but it’s not quite the same.”Jessica said, “I think we should report this to Director Shen.”

“How is that possible?!” Carson said, “Are you mistaken? After all, you are not a computer science major.”

“Just because I’ve never eaten pork before doesn’t mean that I’ve never seen a pig run before. Although I’m not a computer science major, don’t question my intelligence. I’ve worked for so many years, so I know a thing or two.”

Although Jessica said this, the others didn’t care.

Computer programming was a very profound thing. Did it really look like it was useful? She must be mistaken!

“What are you all doing here?”

Just as everyone was laughing at Lin Yi, a middle-aged man appeared behind them.

The middle-aged man’s appearance made the atmosphere become serious.

“Director Shen!”

Lin Yi raised his head abruptly and was surprised to find that the person standing in front of him was Shen Tianzhuo!

He didn’t even need to look at his badge as Lin Yi had already memorized his appearance.

Shen Tianzhuo kept his hair in a simple 30-70 split, and his clothes were a little out of date, perfectly fitting Lin Yi’s stereotypical impression of an academic superstar.

Lin Yi’s lips curled into a smile. He’d thought that it would take him some time to meet him, but this was such a coincidence.

“What are you all doing here?” Shen Tianzhuo asked.

“Director Shen, this guy’s name is Lin Yi. He wants to apply for the position of executive vice president, and he emphasized that he has outstanding abilities and is qualified for this position, so we…”

“What a joke!”

Shen Tianzhuo snorted coldly, “How old is he? You believe that? I’m so disappointed in you.”

“Got it, Vice President.”

“Hehe…”

Carson laughed coldly, “Alright, Director Shen has already spoken, which means that you have been sentenced to death. You should pack up your things and leave. You typed out a bunch of useless code so don’t embarrass yourself.”

“Whether it’s useless code or not, you should let him take a look.”

Lin Yi turned the computer over and directed it at Shen Tianzhuo.

Originally, Shen Tianzhuo wasn’t in the mood to look at it, but after glancing at it, he froze on the spot as if there were nails under his feet.

“Is… is this the code you wrote?!”

“Of course, they all saw it.”

Seeing those lines of code, Tianzhuo was like a woman staring at a diamond ring. He couldn’t even block the light from entering his eyes!

“I’ve thought about this code for a long time, but I still couldn’t crack it. I didn’t expect you to write it. You’re a genius!”

Hiss…

Jessica, Carson, and the onlookers were all shocked by Shen Tianzhuo’s words!

The senior vice president of his company could be said to be below one person and above ten thousand people!

He actually gave such a high evaluation!

That meant that there was no problem with the code!

However, he was only in his twenties, so how could he have such a high talent?

Oh my God!

The Huaxian people were too smart!

“Then do I have the qualifications to apply for the position of executive vice president now?”

Shen Tianzhuo’s expression froze. “This is not the place to talk, Let’s go to my office to talk.”

“No problem.”

The target had taken the bait, and Lin Yi wasn’t going to stay here any longer.

Shen Tianzhuo’s office wasn’t very big, and it was a little messy.

“I wasn’t done cleaning up just now. Don’t mind me, Mr. Lin.”

“It’s fine. It’s the same in my study,” Lin Yi said with a smile as he looked at Shen Tianzhuo carefully.

There was a picture of him with his wife on the desk, with their child in the middle.

It was obvious that he was a good family man.

“What would you like to drink, Mr. Lin?” Shen Tianzhuo asked politely. “I’ll get Jessica to prepare it.”

“Do you have any yangmei soup?” Lin Yi smiled.

Shen Tianzhuo’s eyes lit up, as if he’d found a kindred spirit.

“Do you like yangmei soup too, Mr. Lin?”

“Although I like it a lot, my favorite is still the yangmei soup from my hometown mountain. I can’t get it anywhere else, so I can only force myself to drink whatever I can get my hands on.”

“Is Mr. Lin from Wen City?” Shen Tianzhuo was surprised.

“Are you from Wen City too?”

“I’m from Wen City, Zhejiang Province.”

“I didn’t expect to meet someone from my hometown here. What a coincidence.” Lin Yi smiled. “It’ll be more harmonious if I work here in the future.”

“That’s for sure. On behalf of Microsoft, I welcome you to join us.”

“Chairman Shen, don’t say that yet. Do you have the ability to hire for my position?”

There was no difference between a senior vice president and an executive vice president.

If Lin Yi wanted to join, it wouldn’t be up to Shen Tianzhuo to decide.

“Mr. Lin, you are here to apply for the position of executive vice president. You should know the importance of this position. It’s not something that I can decide, and it’s not something that the chairman can decide alone. Therefore, it won’t happen overnight.”

“That makes sense.” Lin Yi nodded.

“There’s nothing to say about your skills, but there’s no shortage of people in the r&d department. I’ll arrange for you to be the vice president of the global marketing department, but this will only be temporary. With your ability, as long as you work hard, the position of executive vice president will be yours sooner or later.”

“Sigh…”

Lin Yi sighed. “I do have a passion, and I’m willing to work hard, but at the end of the day, this isn’t my home…”
