Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 22 Bold Ideas

Chapter 22 Bold Ideas

Lin Ye sat on the leather chair at the desk, folded his hands, and sighed repeatedly as he looked at the doomsday scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling windows.

What a wonderful thing it would be to have a group of female secretaries by your side at this time!
In the previous life, only a group of brawny men who talked coquettishly surrounded him, and their guns and armor became their little wives.

What’s more, in the dangerous battlefield, there is not so much time, and there is no such condition for him to fall in love.

But this life might be able to...

However, Qin Lie, who broke in from the outside, ruthlessly shattered his fantasy.

”Oh, brother Lin, this place is fine!”

Hearing this howl, Lin Ye suddenly felt that the chair lift was a little panicked.

It seems that it is impossible for a beautiful secretary to exist...

He smiled and got up to look at Qin Lie, then gave a thumbs up, and then continued to the next facility.

Qin Lie, who didn’t know what was going on, held the large glass bowl with a blank look on his face, then silently took a sip of sugar water with the yellow peach in his mouth.

The scientific research center is currently Lin Ye’s favorite place, and the functions contained in it are also the most critical for the floating island.

For example, the additional attributes merged into the module can be unlocked and learned together with camp technology in the future.

He stepped into the bulletproof glass door that opened automatically, and looked around the first floor decorated in white.

There are some huge scientific research instruments in the hall.

First of all, on the left and right sides, the core equipment for manufacturing chips is placed in a row, similar to a photolithography machine.

If you buy this thing in the system mall, it will be expensive. It is estimated that you have to rush to the worm’s nest and kill seven in and seven out before it is possible to accumulate enough survival points.

Moreover, these sophisticated machines are not used to manufacture simple chip processors, but to develop super cores for upgrading equipment.

A separate area is divided in the center of the hall, which is filled with silicon crystal manufacturing instruments to provide basic silicon wafers for lithography equipment.

The second floor is divided into several analysis laboratories. The large instruments placed inside can analyze various items and develop corresponding blueprints for their own use.

Although the current size of the scientific research center is not worthy of its name, I believe that it will be a magnificent scientific research building in the near future.

Lin Ye walked out of the gate full of joy, and walked along the stone path to the medical center not far away.

The architectural style seemed closer to life, but when he walked inside, he was really surprised.

There are no halls, pharmacies, registration windows as you know here, and you can’t even see various departments and departments.

There are only about [-] medical cabins, and several large medical equipment in the back.

Lin Ye walked to one of the medical cabins, clicked on the transparent hatch cover, and the detailed operation interface was displayed on it.

Unexpectedly, this thing doesn’t look very good, but it is a condensed and upgraded version of the ICU ward.

Not only has a sterile internal environment, but also integrates disease scanning, treatment, nursing, and rehabilitation, and displays them in the form of intuitive data.

The medical cabin also does not require 24-hour supervision by medical staff. Once a problem is detected, the emergency system will be automatically activated to maintain the patient’s life, and the physician in charge of the patient will be called.

In this way, not only the space is effectively used, but also a lot of manpower can be saved.

Like the scientific research center, the second floor is divided into multiple biochemical laboratories, which are filled with sterile culture tanks and various common experimental equipment.

After visiting all the places, Lin Ye returned to the courtyard, stared at the system interface and began to struggle with a new problem:
The basic facilities have been built, but without the corresponding talents, it is very embarrassing.

In addition, he saw that the defense facilities were left alone outside.

According to the system instructions, the facility can be merged only after upgrading the floating island to level three and unlocking the military functional modules.

”Three major centers, three-level floating islands, military buildings...”

Lin Ye silently recited these key words in his heart.

Suddenly, a bold idea appeared in my mind.

In tonight’s insect swarm defense battle, some of the current problems of the floating island can be clearly seen.

The first is the existing weapons and equipment. It is not too troublesome to deal with the alien creatures in the first and second stages of the catastrophe.

But the further back, the lower the lethality to alien creatures.

For example, the thermonuclear weapons that human beings are proud of, and then it is equivalent to giving mutants such as zombies a growth hormone with a berserk effect.

The second is that the area of the island has expanded, and the number of defenders is stretched.

If it weren’t for the defensive weapons on the fence, they wouldn’t be able to survive the battle just now.

However, if the number of residents is forcibly increased, the consumption of corresponding weapons and equipment will increase. At this time, it will be a great loss to buy from the system mall.

Therefore, Lin Ye needs a group of scientific research personnel dedicated to the research and development and manufacture of military weapons, and continues to recruit some powerful partners.

Of course, this time he will not follow the planned plan to solicit through the marked specific timeline.

This time, he wants to do something big!
In Lin Ye’s impression, there is a group of people who will be top scientific research talents in the future, but they are also called scientific lunatics.

They usually like to toss all kinds of black technology, and the dark matter missile they developed even sank a small floating land.

This stupid behavior was strongly condemned by the human federal government, and he was imprisoned in the Administration Bureau for a whole month.

However, these people are not from China, but from the distant Middle East.

It is currently at the node where the swarms are flooding, and there is no government army to suppress it, so it is very dangerous.

But from another point of view, this is exactly what Lin Ye wanted.

After all, he needs to upgrade the floating island to level three in a short period of time and build military facilities, especially the weapons factory.

After a rough calculation, it would cost hundreds of thousands of survival points, so those bugs would have to sacrifice a bit!

After some deliberation, Lin Ye opened the management center in the main city panel, and found a special button in the building information interface.

When he activated the system, he saw this powerful function.

[City Relocation: Spend a certain amount of survival points to teleport the floating island to the designated area]

The cost of using this function is very high, not generally high, and increases exponentially with the level of the floating island.

If he moved to the Middle East, he would have to stay for at least ten days and a half a month.

And after successfully recruiting scientific researchers, can he persist in the high-risk zone?
So whether to use this feature to travel to the Middle East is an extremely important decision.

Considering various factors, Lin Ye decided to invite the other three people to have a face-to-face chat by candlelight.
