Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 161 Rectify the temple and return to Blue Star!

Chapter 161 Rectify the temple and return to Blue Star!
Leaving the chamber of commerce building, Lin Ye walked along the streets of District A, all the way to the ancestral hall where the elders of the temple were located.

These elders, who control the faith of the El people and have the closest relationship with the Lord of the Temple, usually live in seclusion and are very mysterious.

Now that Lin Ye came in person, no one went out to greet him.

The gate of the ancestral hall was empty, and those who didn’t know it thought it was ransacked.

The general of the temple guard guarding the side was furious, and immediately took a step forward to smash the door, but was stopped by Lin Ye, who had quick eyes and quick hands.

He stepped forward and pushed open the half-open wooden door, and the spacious and antique courtyard first came into view.

However, there are not many people in the entire ancestral hall, only a few servants are cleaning mechanically.

”Where is Hobbes?”

Lin Ye stepped forward and asked a young Ayr man.

The other party was stunned for a moment, then raised his head and saw the person who broke into the ancestral hall. He was immediately frightened and his whole body trembled, and then responded in a trembling voice:
”Inside, Elder Hobbs is inside!”

What’s wrong with these people?
Lin Ye frowned, and then led people into the backyard of the ancestral hall.

After searching, he saw Hobbs sitting in a chair in a daze in the main room of the main hall.

It had only been a few days since I last saw him, and this guy looked so haggard that he seemed like a different person.

Not to mention the white beard and hair, the dark circles under the eyes are so deep that it makes people a little scared, as if they will fall to the ground in the next second and cannot sleep forever.

Hearing a voice from outside the door, Hobbs raised his head. Seeing that it was Lin Ye, he immediately stood up with difficulty and bowed his head to salute.

”Your Highness, Your Highness...”

Lin Ye raised his hand to signal him to get up, and said in surprise:
”Why are you like this? Where are the people in the ancestral hall? Aren’t there hundreds of candidates for elders?”

He searched around just now and found that the room in the side hall was empty, not even bedding and other daily necessities.

”They all ran away!” Hobbs sighed, and sat back in his seat, looking at the empty courtyard with a sad face.

Ran?

How could these people be so irresponsible?
”What’s the reason?” Lin Ye immediately asked with a serious expression.

Hobbes explained slowly and expressionlessly:

”Since I agreed to stand on His Highness’s side, Your Excellency Samson has sent several waves of people to threaten and lure you. Everyone either couldn’t stand the threat or the temptation, so they all gave up their seats as alternate elders and went home! ”

It’s Samson again!
However, after Lin Ye heard the name, his brows slightly relaxed.

”Samson is dead. From then on, there is no such person in the temple, and the original Ibrahimovic Chamber of Commerce has been taken over by me. You can help Rita at ease and develop the elders group!”

Under Hobbs’ astonished gaze, Lin Ye told the story of the future.

Of course, it is a beautified version.

However, I believe that Hobbes, who is used to seeing the warmth and coldness of people, can hear the deeper meaning.

After explaining this, Hobbs’ expression was obviously relaxed.

So, Lin Ye looked at the other party and said solemnly:

”Three days later, I will hold the appointment ceremony of the temple elders and the canonization ceremony of the chief elder. You need to recruit enough alternate members before that!”

Three days, the time is already very tight.

But for Hobbs, it is not difficult to recruit more than 200 alternate elders within a few days.

After all, there were thousands or even tens of thousands of people who wanted to become the elders of the temple.

It’s just that most of the ones who passed in the end were related to elites and dignitaries.

This has also led to a complete change in the power of this belief-centered institution.

In the past, due to the constraints of President Samson, Hobbes, who hated this phenomenon deeply, dared to be angry but dared not speak out.

Now that the situation has changed drastically, he no longer caters to those people’s ideas.

In addition, the lord of the temple personally supports the elders of the temple, so he has more confidence this time.

Hobbes suddenly stood up from his chair as if he had been given a shot of blood, and he patted his chest and made a promise on the spot:

”Don’t worry, Your Highness, I will be able to complete the recruitment task within three days!”

The contrast between the front and back of this person is so huge, which makes Lin Ye feel a little helpless.

Before he left, he specifically asked: ”If you need anything in the ancestral hall, just ask, if there is anything missing, or if you need any help, just bring it up, even if it is to renovate the ancestral hall from the inside to the outside, it will be fine!”

Hobbs was flattered by Lin Ye’s attitude, and he nodded immediately: ”Don’t worry, Your Highness, if there is anything I need here, I will let you know as soon as possible!”

After exchanging pleasantries, Lin Ye satisfactorily led the people away from the ancestral hall and returned to the castle.

He decided to complete the appointment ceremony of the temple elders after returning to Blue Star.

But before that, he still needs to restore the building facilities in the Temple City.

Because of the battle with the mysterious organization some time ago, many places were seriously damaged, and some even affected the normal operation of the city.

He didn’t want to just return to Blue Star with the tattered floating island.

And in the past, Lin Ye, who was struggling to survive, might be entangled in which building to repair first, but now that he has a huge sum of money, these are no longer a problem.

So he added some special functions on the basis of restoring the building.

Take the most important security center as an example. Although there are a large number of Temple Guards stationed at this facility, they are actually powerful and do not have any emergency measures in the event of an accident.

Therefore, he specially added an energy barrier that is only used at critical moments, which can protect against EMP attacks inside the temple, or any large-scale shock waves with lethality.

On this basis, he added an automatic weapon tower to the security center to monitor the surrounding area in all directions without dead ends.

As soon as it is discovered that the security building is under malicious attack, the weapon tower will activate itself. The multi-directional radar will quickly lock the enemy and launch a dense and suffocating fire strike.

To achieve the final effect, the weapon tower is also equipped with an automatic clip replenishment device, which can maintain the infinite ammo mode as long as the survival points are not exhausted.

In addition to the facilities inside the city, several major central facilities outside the city also need to be upgraded.

Since there was no survival point before, the military center on the right side of the castle has been in an abandoned state, and all functions are ”to be repaired”.

However, complete restoration requires a large amount of survival points, so Lin Ye simply integrated this piece of facilities with the airship base of the temple.

Blue Star’s various ground combat troops, combined with various types of anti-gravity floating ships of El Star, directly create a combat policy that integrates land, air, and deep space.

In support of this policy, the original site of the military center will be used to build a large weapons arsenal, as well as a material foundry for multiple production lines.

It just so happened that when he came back from El Star this time, he brought a whole transport ship’s materials for processing and casting, and it could last at least several months.

New materials are inseparable from the mineral resources of El Star, but the research and development of weapons cannot do without the cooperation of the scientific research center.

However, the previous battle with the mysterious organization turned the scientific research center into ruins.

Therefore, Lin Ye no longer plans to rebuild, but integrates the original scientific research center with all the scientific laboratories in the ancestral temple.

The top technologies owned by Bluestar include AI deep learning technology, industrial robots, thermonuclear weapons, etc.

Plus the particle radiation energy of Aiir Star, the anti-gravity floating system, and the most important gene editing technology.

The two can definitely collide with the most amazing sparks.

Scientific research power is the cornerstone of development. Now that there are fierce beasts guarding the ancestral temple hall, the safety factor of the laboratory will be greatly improved, and there is no need to bother about it.

After all the repair and upgrade instructions were deployed, Lin Ye issued instructions to the system.

[Building repair instructions have been deployed, survival points deducted: 40]

[Facility construction instructions have been deployed, survival points deducted: 22]

……

As the system sounded continuously, the long-lost light curtain enveloped the temple again.

Due to the large area of the repaired area and the many facilities built this time, the number of survival points decreased by tens of millions in an instant.

However, under the sacrifice of millions of Zerg troops, Lin Ye has more than 160 billion survival points, these tens of millions are really nothing to him.

The next step is the placement of the ultra-large transport ship. Due to its large size, it is really difficult to park.

This resulted in a damaged central plaza that could not be repaired in time.

Lin Ye could only open up a new place near the land park on the east side of the temple city, temporarily named the transportation base.

In addition, he also asked Gray to build a large transmission device that can support two-way channels at the same time, in preparation for the transportation of mineral resources in the future.

But this transport ship is too huge, it is impossible to move it with manpower alone.

Therefore, Lin Ye can only spend huge sums of money to repair the damaged ship so that it can resume its flight function, and then the engineer will park it in the designated area.

In this simple way, he directly killed his 3000 million survival points.

The upgraded and repaired light curtain shrouded the whole day, and it gradually faded away in the evening.

With the activation of the night mode of the temple, the night lighting system of the dome lights up step by step.

Under the mild light, the whole city has changed, especially the old buildings in District C, which have taken on a new look.

The streets were also much cleaner. The residents walked out of their rooms and stood on the street with their eyes wide open, unable to believe what was happening before them.

”Perhaps this is a miracle!”

I don’t know who was the first to shout out this sentence, but once it was spread to ten, ten to hundreds, after that, people in the whole city had a longing for the new Lord of the Temple.

The night the repairs were completed, Lin Ye flew around the city in his armor to conduct careful and strict inspection.

Although there will be no errors in the system, it is always reassuring to check it yourself.

After confirming that it was correct, he flew to the dome, overlooking the entire city, and then called out the system interface.

”City relocation order, target: Solar System - Blue Star - China!”

As soon as he finished shouting the password, the system prompt sounded quickly in his ears:

[The command to move the floating island to the city has been deployed, deducting survival points: 400]

The survival point of moving the city is only related to the number of times, no matter how large the area of the temple is, it will not have the slightest impact.

As the system sound fell, there was a slight vibration in the entire temple.
