Chapter 152 Leviathan Biological Battleship

Chapter 152 Leviathan Biological Battleship

The aircraft chasing and intercepting the assault boat formation had strange shapes and an astonishing number, resembling the locust swarms that had appeared on the surface of Blue Star.

Lin Ye often fought against fleets of Zerg creatures in his previous life, so he naturally understood the uniqueness of these aircraft.

When the Zerg first invaded on a large scale, humans with air power took it for granted that these aircraft also needed pilots.

So as long as one’s own pilot can crush the opponent in terms of driving skills, these small aircraft can be wiped out.

But after the first battle, people really realized what is the final form of air power.

These narrow and flat aircraft are actually Zerg creatures, but they are mass-produced products.

Based on the captured remains, human scientific researchers deduced a rough evolutionary process.

In the early days, in order to make up for the lack of air power, the Zerg forcibly changed the biological gene fragments and evolved a group suitable for air flight.

They are powered by the spar at the end, and fly in the air in a kind of anti-gravity way.

These densely packed aircraft move extremely quickly.

Although they don’t seem to have too much firepower, in fact, their attack method is not using various missiles to attack like humans, nor is it proficient in using particle weapons like the Ayers.

They rely on their flexible positions and super-high speed to approach their targets and ”hunt”.

That’s right, this kind of evolved creature still maintains the predatory instinct of the Zerg, but in a slightly different way.

At the bottom of the aircraft, where the mouthparts are located, the cuticle can be separated, and the sharp spikes ejected from it can directly pierce the fighter plane and release a deadly strong corrosive solution.

Even though they would die together because of this, they did not hesitate at all under the order of the high-ranking Zerg commander.

In the middle of the catastrophe, the tens of thousands of human fighters were reduced to scrap iron under such a unique attack method.

In the past, Lin Ye probably didn’t have a good way to deal with these things.

After all, the aircraft is too flexible, even targeting ordinary weapons is a problem, but even with precision-guided warheads, they can’t keep up with the opponent’s speed.

Or they are in the passive beating stage, waiting for these bugs to reveal their flaws.

Either cover a large area with firepower and rely on luck to destroy these annoying things.

In short, both are thankless acts.

But now, things are different.

Lin Ye, who was wearing a fiery red armor, was getting faster and faster and rushed straight into the formation of aircraft.

At the same time, he launched an extremely wide-ranging strong electrostatic field, and the invisible ripples quickly spread around.

Under his control, the rapidly increasing electric charges in the air collided with each other, directly entering the runaway mode, and thick and dazzling currents flickered back and forth in the space.

In the deafening sound of flashing explosions, most of the Zerg aircraft turned into coke, slowly fell, and fell on the surface of Aiur Star.

Some lucky aircraft were not broken down by the current, but were disturbed by the current, and still lost control and fell to the ground.

For a moment, the entire sky was lit up by fireballs, like a fireworks display seen during the Chinese New Year, and the scene was extremely shocking.

The only regret is that the [Strong Electrostatic Field] cannot be moved with you, otherwise, the damage caused will be even more considerable.

Although they suffered a devastating blow, these bugs did not flinch. Instead, they quickly gathered their strength to encircle Lin Ye in all directions as he shuttled through the air.

In addition to using their mouthparts for melee attacks, these flying machines can also fire a large number of sharp quills, a kind of scale about half a meter long hidden in the abdomen.

The molecular structure in the scales is very unique, which can make this seemingly fragile thing as hard as alloy steel.

At a high initial speed, it can easily pierce a 20mm thick steel plate, not to mention the aluminum alloy shell of a human fighter.

Although Lin Ye has a powerful armor body, he still activated [Intuition] and [Dynamic Perception] to avoid various attacks flexibly.

The electrostatic field ravaged by high-voltage current directly took away half of the aircraft.

He lured the remaining Zerg creatures and flew away.

But not many kilometers into the flight, there was a deep and sonorous roar from above.

Lin Ye looked up, and a Leviathan biological warship was falling from above his head, flying in front of him.

This battleship belongs to the small frigate of the Zerg mothership. It is said to be ”small”, but the overall size has exceeded the original second-level floating island.

The Leviathan biological battleship is also a Zerg creature in essence, and its nature is the same as that of the previous aircraft, and it belongs to a special unit.

Because of its huge size, people gave it the title of ”Leviathan”.

Its head looks like a bird’s beak enlarged a thousand times, and truck-sized eyes grow on both sides, which can quickly catch fast-moving objects.

A huge metal cabin is embedded on the back, which is used to load Zerg fighters and various heavy weapons.

The tail is covered with thick tentacles like an octopus, and there are huge green crystals on each tentacle.

These green crystals have the same function as particle injectors, and can assist Leviathan in acceleration, steering and other operations.

This Leviathan biological warship, while swooping down, opened its huge mouthparts, and its upper and lower jaws were covered with one-meter-high cogs.

From the deep mouthparts, there were bursts of unbearable stench.

The roar of this creature can instantly generate high-intensity sound pressure, causing extremely violent air turbulence, and the cascading shock waves can even bring about a devastating killing effect.

At the same time, the loud noise like a sonic boom can also make creatures fall into a brief dizziness, and even die on the spot.

Lin Ye had personally experienced this feeling, so he didn’t dare to slack off at this time. He quickly adjusted the flying angle to avoid the encirclement, and then raised his left arm to charge the electromagnetic gun.

But at this moment, another battleship of the same kind emerges from the sand and dust raised from the lower layer.

The two double-teamed, Lin Ye saw that the situation was not good, and immediately activated [Supersonic], trying to forcefully rush out of the encirclement.

But the tentacles at the tail of the two Leviathan battleships suddenly emitted a dazzling light.

Under the strong thrust, their speed became extremely fast, and at the same time, they opened their huge mouthparts, attacking with an aura that covered the sky and the sun.

The electromagnetic energy ball on Lin Ye’s left arm has fully charged, but it can only deal with one target at a time.

And in the [Insight] data model analysis, he will be swallowed by one of the battleships this time.

But he didn’t care too much, because many Zerg aircraft were rushing towards this side along the surrounding gaps, and he didn’t have time to think about it.

Now facing enemies on all sides, they can only fight to the death.

He raised his left arm high, and then aimed at one of the Leviathan warships. A blue-purple current energy ball shone from the electromagnetic gun mouth, and slowly flew out.

Fly faster and faster as time goes by.

In the end, the sphere exceeding twice the speed of sound slammed heavily on the surface of the battleship, and the first explosion directly melted the thick defensive armor on the surface.

The blocked energy ball began to rotate at a high speed, and at the same time as it kept sinking, the overflowing energy turned into an electromagnetic vortex, which burned Leviathan’s internal body, and in a blink of an eye, a terrifying pothole appeared.

This huge Zerg creature let out bursts of wailing. It swung its body rapidly, but it couldn’t get rid of the energy ball attached to its surface. In fact, such large movements destroyed all the surrounding aircraft.

The electromagnetic vortex lasted for tens of seconds, and then collapsed rapidly.

Immediately afterwards, there was a violent explosion in the pit, and the surging energy shock wave directly squeezed Leviathan’s head.

Accompanied by billowing thick smoke, this unbalanced battleship howled and fell into the sandstorm.

At the same time as the first stage of the explosion, another battleship attacked, and Lin Ye, who was retreating, fell into its mouthparts.

Because the area covered by the upper and lower jaws is too large, [gut feeling] dodges many times, but it doesn’t help.

In desperation, Lin Ye could only cover his whole body with the [Electromagnetic Barrier], and was about to launch a high-frequency energy ball from its mouth to end the second Leviathan battleship by injuring the enemy by one thousand and damaging the enemy by eight hundred.

But at this moment, the system and the armor sent warnings at the same time.

The skill [Insight] quickly changed the parameter structure of the data model, and [Intuition] started again for some unknown reason.

Just when he was surprised, he caught a glimpse of a very fast figure flying in the distance.

Even with the help of [Dynamic Perception], he can only see a series of afterimages.

In the next second, the Leviathan biological battleship in front of him inexplicably began to expand, and the entire metal cabin on the back was squeezed and deformed.

Then, before Lin Ye could react, the battleship exploded and turned into debris all over the sky, without even making a sound.

The fragments of corpses scattered in all directions, falling with the overwhelming rain of blood.

Lin Ye looked up and saw a petite figure floating in midair.

He immediately took a deep breath, and a sense of crisis quickly surged into his heart.

”Chu Qingning?”
