Chapter 334 Patrolling the Mountains

Patriarch Yellow Oscillate drank his alcohol and said with a smile, “It’s just a bet on both sides. They are taking advantage of us, and they are also taking advantage of the humans. They remain free, no matter who wins. We don’t have sufficient evidence of their betrayal. It’s not realistic to make them stand on our side like the Skydemon Sect. In the human world… the combat strength advantage still lies with the humans.”

“We have to figure out that Godfiend’s identity,” said Demon Sage Nine Abyss. “We suffer enough losses in battles aboveground. If underground demon monarchs are continuously slaughtered, our army of a million ordinary demon monarchs won’t last for long.”

“I’ve already tried my best,” said the black-robed man in a low voice. “Actually, there’s a method to trace the Godfiend’s identity. It’s the easiest method, and it will definitely reveal the mysterious Godfiend’s identity.”

Demon Sage Nine Abyss and Patriarch Yellow Oscillate were astonished.

The black-robed man continued, “Blood curse.”

“Blood curse?” Demon Sage Nine Abyss shook his head. “It’s useless. Even if a demon monarch is killed, the blood curse won’t land on the murderer. A Regis Godfiend’s Seamless domain will definitely isolate the blood curse. Even a Marquis Godfiend’s Darkstar domain can detect external powers like the blood curse. They won’t allow it to be attached to their bodies.”

“I’m talking about a blood curse that can trace karma,” said the black-robed man.

“Trace karma?” Demon Sage Nine Abyss and Patriarch Yellow Oscillate were alarmed as they looked at their companion.

“No matter what method is employed during the kill, as long as one is killed, we can trace the karma. It will definitely be attached to the enemy. Unless the enemy has the ability to isolate karma, they won’t be able to remove the blood curse,” said the black-robed man softly. “In the Demon Realm, aside from the three Imperial Lords, Demon Sage Thousand Cricket can also do this.”

Demon Sage Nine Abyss and Patriarch Yellow Oscillate’s hearts stirred.

“Do you mean to have Demon Sage Thousand Cricket enter the human world via possession?” Demon Sage Nine Abyss said, “Demon Sage Thousand Cricket is still young. He might not be willing to come to the human world.”

“Hahaha, North Sense, I know you have a grudge against Thousand Cricket.” Patriarch Yellow Oscillate laughed.

“I’m thinking about the interests of the demons and the Imperial Lords,” said the black-robed man. “Besides, there’s really nothing else we can do to figure out the mysterious Archean Mountain Godfiend’s identity. Nine Abyss, you know that we’ve already tried all other solutions.”

Demon Sage Nine Abyss pondered for a moment before nodding. “Alright, I’ll report it to the Imperial Lords. Since there’s nothing we can do, we’ll let the Imperial Lords think of a solution. Otherwise, we can only let the Godfiend continue to massacre the demon monarchs hiding underground.”

9th May, night.

Swoosh.

An avian demon monarch descended and bowed respectfully. “Marquis Eastcalm, your letter.” A letter flew towards Meng Chuan and his wife.

Meng Chuan was somewhat surprised. If it weren’t an important letter, avian demon monarchs would usually immediately leave after delivering the letter. To hand over the letter at such a close distance implied the importance of the letter.

Meng Chuan opened the envelope and read the contents of the letter. A Supremacy Quintessential Essence mark adorned the letter, proving its authenticity. “What?” Meng Chuan’s expression changed as he read through the letter’s contents.

“What’s wrong?” Liu Qiyue asked.

“The demon army is about to begin hunting mortals.” Meng Chuan handed the letter to Liu Qiyue.

Liu Qiyue’s expression changed slightly when she read through the letter. “A mortal is worth 100 credits? Let the demon monarchs hunt as they please?”

“This order has been passed down to all demon monarchs. Archean Mountain received the news immediately,” said Meng Chuan. “Seventy percent of the world’s population is outside the cities. If we watch these mortals get constantly hunted by a million demon monarchs without doing a thing, almost all of them will be killed. We have to save them!”

“According to the letter, Archean Mountain will deploy 1,500 Great Solar Godfiends and 3,000 demon monarch servants to patrol the world for a long time.” Liu Qiyue read the letter. “If they encounter danger, they will seek help and deploy you.”

“Yes.” Meng Chuan nodded. “1,500 Great Solar Godfiends… Archean Mountain doesn’t even have 1,500 Great Solar Godfiend disciples. Outer sect disciples are clearly included in this arrangement. Even demon monarch servants under Archean Mountain’s control are to be mobilized. The sect is already doing its best. The demon monarchs will not be allowed to slaughter the world’s population wantonly.”

“3,000 demon monarch servants. I’m afraid most of them will be deployed, right?” asked Liu Qiyue.

“There aren’t many Godfiends that can control demon monarch servants. Marquis Godfiends that cultivate the Mirage Fiend Body, Regis Godfiends, and Supremacies can control them,” said Meng Chuan. “However, 3,000 demon monarch servants is already the maximum number that Archean Mountain can deploy without affecting existing arrangements.”

For example, King Desire Redemption-who had the strongest illusion technique at Archean Mountain-could control over 1,000 third Firmament demon monarchs alone. This was his limit.

Apart from the avian demon monarchs, these 3,000 demon monarch servants were relatively strong. They were typically strong third Firmament demon monarchs like mountain demons.

10th May, morning.

Archean Mountain, in front of Blood Red Cliff.

A large group of Godfiends gathered here. All of them carried bags on their backs and were ready to leave. Meng You, Meng An, and the other young disciples watched from the side.

Li Guan stood at the front. Archean Mountain Lord and Elder Yi stood beside him.

“All 523 of you Great Solar Godfiends will be deployed today,” said Li Guan solemnly. “More than a million demon monarchs will be conducting wanton slaughter in our home. At this moment, I need you to slay the demon monarchs. Joining you will be other Great Solar Godfiends. They will head out from the various cities in the Great Zhou Dynasty.

“There are a total of 1,509 Great Solar Godfiends heading out to reinforce the various regions! Among them are 601 inner sect disciples and 908 outer sect disciples,” said Li Guan. “Apart from that, 3,000 demon monarch servants will be deployed. We are giving our all, and you only have one goal—if a demon monarch dares show its face, kill it. Kill them until they wouldn’t dare to show their face!”The 523 Great Solar Godfiends present had killing intent in their eyes. Some of them had white hair, while others were still in their prime.

“From now on, all of you will be living out in the open as you patrol the wilderness, hunting down any demon monarch that dares to appear. You will constantly be fighting. You might die in the wilderness; you may not even leave behind a corpse. However, humanity will forever remember every single one of you!” said Li Guan, his eyes red.

Battle intent surged in all the Godfiends present.

There was no way out. It was a war between species! They had nowhere to retreat to.

“Humans will ultimately win this war. All of you are heroes of humanity!” Li Guan said in a deep voice. “Now, set off!”

The 523 Great Solar Godfiends immediately turned around and carried their bags. They brought their weapons and left the mountain.

Meng An, Meng You, many other young disciples, as well as many Godfiends with potential to become Marquis Godfiends, watched silently. All of them wanted to join the fray. However, they needed to become stronger and obtain Archean Mountain’s permission before they could leave the mountain.

Archean Mountain deployed 1,500 Great Solar Godfiends and 3,000 demon monarch servants. Black Sand Grotto-Heaven and Two World Island also sent out their forces! They would patrol the world and protect mortals.
