Chapter 330 Samsara Trial (2)

Half a month later. Snowflakes drifted.

Meng An braved the snowstorm and came to Grotto-Heaven Pavilion. He paid his respects to the Supremacies. “Greetings, Master, Supremacies.” Meng An came to the pavilion and bowed respectfully.

Supremacies Li Guan and Luo Tang were playing chess while Qin Wu watched as he sipped tea.

Luo Tang frowned as she looked at the chessboard. When she turned her head, she saw Meng An bow respectfully. Her eyes lit up as she immediately threw the chess piece in her hand. She stood up and said, “I’m not playing anymore. Let’s get down to business.”

“The outcome will be decided after a few more moves. There’s no hurry,” said Li Guan.

“You have too much free on your hands, but Meng An’s time is very precious,” said the illusory Luo Tang solemnly. “A Godfiend’s cultivation time cannot be wasted.”

Li Guan helplessly said, “Alright, alright.” “Meng An, follow us,” said Luo Tang. “Yes.” Meng An was still somewhat puzzled. Why did the Supremacies summon him?

Soon, the three Supremacies led Meng An through a distorted void passageway. Meng An looked around in amazement. The void passageway was filled with colorful light amidst the warped void.

The void passageway completely solidified. Meng An watched everything in shock and curiosity. Soon, they walked out of the void tunnel and arrived in a grotto-Heaven.

“Meng An, this is an opportunity for you.” Li Guan smiled as he looked at Meng An. He pointed at the closed, 100-foot-tall door in the hall. “Enter when the door opens. There will be a trial. This trial will take from a month to half a year. It can even take half a month. You have to do your best to succeed.”

“Yes,” replied Meng An obediently.

“Go in,” said Li Guan. Luo Tang and Qin Wu watched with anticipation.

Only then did Meng An walk towards the ancient palace. When he arrived at the front door, the door opened with a rumble. Meng An crossed the threshold and entered. The door closed once again.

“The Samsara trial contains Ancestral Master Archean Eon’s legacy. It’s also the strongest legacy in the entire human world.” The illusory Luo Tang showed her worry. “Can Meng An pass the Samsara trial?”

“Every person that has cultivated a perfected Samsara Divine Body has the right to participate in the Samsara trial,” said the illusory Qin Wu. “However, there are very few people who succeeded in the trial. The last person to succeed was from over 6,000 years

ago.”

“Let’s hope he succeeds. At this point in the war, we need a Godfiend who can inherit Ancestral Master Archean Eon’s legacy,” said Luo Tang. “I’ve read the dossiers. From the tribal era of our Archean Mountain, a total of 38 people have passed the Samsara trial! Apart from seven that failed to develop their strength fully, the remaining 31 were rather powerful. Two became Regis Godfiends, 28 became Creation Supremacies, and one became an Imperial Lord. They are famous for being good at combat.”

Li Guan nodded. “Nearly half of those who passed the trial were invincible during their

time.”

“Almost half of them were invincible.” Qin Wu nodded.

“After all, it’s the strongest legacy of humanity,” said Luo Tang. “The opportunities in Archean Eon Grotto-Heaven were obtained by Ancestral Master Archean Eon by chance while roaming the outer realm. As for the Samsara trial… It’s Ancestral Master Archean Eon’s own legacy. It’s a complete system, so it’s much more powerful.”

“I’ll head back first,” said Li Guan. “Are the two of you waiting here?”

“Yes,” said Qin Wu and Luo Tang.

“According to history, only one out of 20 candidates who undertake the trial succeeds,” said Li Guan. “Don’t place too much hope on him.”

“We know.” Luo Tang waved her hand. “Senior Brother, hurry up and tend to your matters.”

Li Guan smiled helplessly as he left.

Time passed. Qin Wu and Luo Tang waited patiently. Two months passed in the blink of an eye. “We know the probability of success is very low, but the two of us just keep watch.” Luo Tang played chess.

Qin Wu was playing chess as well. He smiled and said, “Perhaps we are too eager for humans to have a boost in combat strength. If we can have another Creation Supremacy that can be invincible in this era, it will be very helpful for us during the war.”

As for becoming an Imperial Lord? Only one person who had passed the Samsara trial had become an Imperial Lord. Furthermore, it had taken them more than 1,000 years to become an Imperial Lord. They didn’t dare hope for it They wanted a Creation Supremacy that was invincible in their era. That was more realistic.

“That’s right. We’re too eager to have one join our ranks,” Luo Tang said and moved her chess piece.

Suddenly,

A black fog seeped out from the door of the ancient palace. It condensed into a hundred-foot-tall black giant. “Guardian?” Luo Tang and Qin Wu turned their heads and were alarmed.

“Good news.” The swarthy giant smiled as he revealed his white teeth. “The young Godfiend, Meng An, has already passed the trial. He is receiving Master’s legacy.”

“He succeeded?” Luo Tang and Qin Wu looked at each other, surprised.

The swarthy giant nodded slightly. “He succeeded. He will probably come out in a few days.” With that said, he transformed into a black fog and seeped back into the palace.

“He succeeded. He succeeded.” Luo Tang was ecstatic. “I really didn’t make a mistake with him. Meng An is indeed talented.”

Swoosh.

A figure rushed over from the void passageway. It was none other than Li Guan.

“Why did you summon me in such a hurry?” Li Guan asked with an expectant look. “Is there any news about Meng An’s trial?”

“The Guardian just came out and informed us that Meng An has already passed the trial. He is currently accepting the Samsara legacy,” said Qin Wu with a smile. “He will probably come out in a few days.”

“He really succeeded?” Li Guan revealed a look of delight. “That’s great! The probability of passing the Samsara trial is very low, but Meng An succeeded. It’s really a blessing from the heavens.”“We might be able to change the situation if we have an additional Creation Supremacy that is invincible in this era,” said Luo Tang in anticipation.

“He needs time to grow slowly,” said Qin Wu. “Even if he cultivates quickly, he will take about 100 years to become a Supremacy. Even when he becomes a Creation Supremacy, he will only be an early-stage Supremacy. He will need at least 200 years to become an invincible Creation Supremacy of his era.”

“Every addition to our peak combat forces increases our chances of victory,” said Li Guan with a smile. “At the very least, Meng An passing the Samsara trial is the best news we have had recently. He and his father are very important to us humans. As long as his father, Meng Chuan, reaches the Blood Droplet realm, he will be able to probe the underground and hunt demon monarchs on a larger scale. If Meng An is invincible in the future, he can easily deal with demon sages.”

The Godfiend cultivation system was stronger than the demon cultivation system. If one were an invincible Creation Supremacy, that meant they one could easily kill demon sages. Meng An was expected to fight multiple demon sages alone in the future.

“Meng An still needs time to grow,” said Qin Wu. “What I’m most worried about is that the demons won’t give us 200 years.”

“Therefore, we need to try our best to hold on,” said Li Guan.

“It’s really interesting,” said Luo Tang with a smile. “This Meng family’s three generations are getting more powerful with each generation. Meng Dajiang is a Body Tempering Godfiend, but he’s just an ordinary Godfiend. Meng Chuan’s talent is much higher than his father’s. He can become a Regis Godfiend. As for Meng An, his talent is even higher. He should be one of the top few in the past few centuries. He has a high chance of becoming a Creation Supremacy.” Li Guan smiled and said, “Alright, this matter has to be kept confidential. Only Meng An and the three of us shall know about it! After Meng An comes out, he is strictly forbidden from spreading it. He can’t even tell his parents and sister.”

“Yes.” Luo Tang and Qin Wu nodded.
