Starting from the Wizarding World

Chapter 69 A sudden illusion!Chapter 69 A sudden illusion!
Rorschach thought he would never see Teach again in the short term.

Because last time, after asking him to help Su Xueqi arrange a safe place for retreat, Luo Xia had advised him to try to find an opportunity to leave the Mountain Capital for a while, and it would be best if he could bring his family along.

With Teach’s intelligence, Rorschach felt that this was enough.

So Rorschach thought that Teach should have left the Mountain City after that, but he didn’t expect to see him again within two days.

Only this time, he looked a little sad.

”Can’t get away?” Rorschach asked straight to the point.

”It’s a bit late.” Teach smiled bitterly, ”Although most people don’t know what will happen next, they can smell some tension. Now the city guards are no longer allowed to leave the mountain capital at will. Once someone leaves without permission, they will be directly treated as a deserter...”

When Rorschach heard this, he understood why Teach stayed.

Staying in the city might be dangerous, but if you were considered a deserter, there would be nowhere to escape.

Even his family members will be implicated.

The only way to survive is to leave the Storm Empire and flee to other areas, but after all, he is just a Black Iron Knight. How can he have the ability to escape so far with his family?

Judging from the actual situation in the Gray Region, the chances of him escaping alive are not high, let alone taking his family with him.

”What about your family?” Rorschach asked.

”If I don’t follow them, they may not be safe if they leave the city alone. Now we can only leave it to fate.” Teach looked bitter.

He might indeed have many clever tricks and could live a comfortable life normally, but when faced with such a critical situation he could only leave it to fate.

This is the helplessness of little people.

Luo Xia thought for a moment and said thoughtfully: ”If you really don’t have any good ideas, let your family stay at the Tongling Hotel for a while. Although I can’t guarantee you anything, it is safer than staying outside.”

When Teach heard this, he wanted to kowtow to Rorschach again, but Rorschach stopped him with his hand, ”There is no time to lose, go now.”

”Yes, thank you, sir.” Teach trotted away hurriedly.

At this time, there were only two days left before the marriage between the two original bloodline families.

”Come on, accompany me to pick someone up.”

After Teach left, Rorschach was ready to take action. The first thing he did was of course to bring Rex to the Copper Bell Hotel to take charge.

The leader of the Knights of Slaughter certainly had no intention of taking Rorschach away from the Mountain City before the fishing incident was over. After all, he was still waiting to poach Elsa from here to be his logistics manager.

Rorschach, the deputy leader who is second only to Rex, has been running back and forth recently and rarely sees Rex all day long.

However, facing such a large-scale event, Rorschach felt that it would be safer to err on the side of caution, so he thought of inviting Rex to stay at the Copper Bell Tavern for a few days.

With Rex, a giant Buddha, guarding the place, the Copper Bell Tavern is probably safer than the inner city.

Abel was actually a little confused about this, because according to what he heard from Su Xueqi, his master’s teacher seemed to be the Bronze Knight?
Even though he was a bronze knight who was only one step away from breaking through to the silver level, it was not a strange thing for Abel.

He himself is at this stage, just one step away from breaking through to the third state of his twisted true body, and his strength is even stronger than that of the blood knights of the same level.

If it is really as Su Xueqi said, the teacher of my master doesn’t seem to be that great, so why bother to go and invite him specially?

Of course, he would not question Rorschach’s decision.

Although he didn’t understand, when Rorschach decided to do something, he always thought that Rorschach must have a deeper meaning, but he just couldn’t see it for the time being. With this doubt, Abel didn’t ask any more questions and continued to be his cowherd.

The reason why he is called a cowherd is naturally because he is not leading a horse, but A-Dai.

Ah Dai is a very real guy. Except for Rex and Rorschach, everyone else would be unhappy about it, including Abel and Su Xueqi.

So unless there are special circumstances, Rorschach generally won’t force it to carry people. After all, it has helped Rorschach a lot.

Therefore, it was natural for Abel to work part-time as Ah Dai’s breeder, and usually serve Rorschach.

”Did you notice anything wrong?” Rorschach, who was sitting on Ah Dai’s back, was originally thinking about the next arrangements, but he vaguely sensed something strange and immediately asked Abel in his mind.

If Su Xueqi were here, she would probably find it a little funny because this question sounded too familiar.

”Something’s wrong?”

Abel naturally did not take Rorschach’s words lightly, and immediately looked around calmly, but he found nothing.

Strictly speaking, it wasn’t just Abel, because Ah Dai didn’t issue any warning this time.

You know, even when he accidentally entered the realm of confusion and weirdness last time, Ah Dai could sense that something was wrong and specifically reminded Rorschach.

In addition, Abel also thought everything was normal, which made Rorschach wonder if he had been too sensitive recently and had developed an illusion.

”wrong!”

To be on the safe side, Rorschach activated the illusion-breaking effect of the True Prison Eye, but this time... the scene before his eyes was completely different!

Originally, they were supposed to be on their way from the Bronze Bell Hotel to the Silver Maple Hotel, passing through a street with quite a lot of people.

However, at this time, the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area had disappeared, and they were no longer on the original street!
”Stop!”

Rorschach patted Ah Dai, signaling him to stop.

”What’s wrong, my Lord?” Abel asked in his mind.

”We have been pulled into an illusion. We are not even on the street you see now.” Rorschach said solemnly in his mind.

”What, this is an illusion?!”

Abel was completely shocked!

Because when Rorschach asked him just now if he noticed anything wrong, he had already carefully observed the surroundings, but in the end he didn’t find anything unusual, and he even confirmed it repeatedly.

But now that Rorschach had said so, he of course unconditionally believed that his master would not make a mistake, even if he still found nothing.

It’s not like he hasn’t had experience of being targeted by illusions before, but as a walking god, he is mentally stronger than most blood knights!

Although he is not good at magic, faith itself is a kind of spiritual power.

With his second-level peak of the Walking of Gods realm, illusions below the silver level can be said to be completely ineffective against him. Even for silver-level illusions, it is not easy to completely confuse him.

But at this moment, even though Rorschach had told him that he was trapped in an illusion, he still couldn’t break free from it!
This is very scary!

This means that if the person who pulled him into the illusion really wants to attack him, he will not be able to resist at all!
