Chapter 62 7 Color Salon, Shadow MarketChapter 62 Seven Color Salon, Shadow Market

Rorschach also thought carefully about telling Rex some of the secrets.

In fact, he believed that Rex had already noticed Abel’s existence, but out of respect for him he did not ask. After all, it was impossible for Rex to just take him out and leave him alone.

Besides, the fact that he took Abel and Su Xueqi as servants had nothing to do with his identity as a Substitute, and he relied on the abilities of the Purgatory Knight.

He doesn’t need to hide this matter.

Given Rex’s personality, he wouldn’t really insist on getting to the bottom of things. It would be enough for him to have a reasonable explanation.

Just like that.

After confirming that Rex really didn’t care about Abel’s identity as a remnant of the evil god, Rorschach didn’t bother to be polite with his cheap teacher and mentioned that he planned to help Abel create some opportunities to make merit.

He knew that he could not do it on his own, even if he had broken through to the bronze level.

But just because he can’t do anything doesn’t mean Rex can’t do anything either.

As expected, after listening to his request for help, Rex laughed and said, ”You, little brat, really became a bad boy once you left the village. You actually thought of sending your men to infiltrate the upper echelons of the Church of Bliss... Well, it’s rare that you ask me for help, so I’ll do you this favor. I’ll have Aisha come to discuss the details with you in person later.”

”Thank you, teacher...” Rorschach felt relieved when he heard Rex agreed.

With Rex’s guarantee and the support of Sister Elsa, the city lord’s eldest daughter, this little thing is naturally no problem.

To be honest, this is a bit like using a cannon to kill a mosquito.

After getting Rex’s assurance, Rorschach returned to the Copper Bell Inn again.

Before he could communicate further with Abel about the lurking matter, Abel brought him a new message: ”When I just went out, I noticed a message that tonight, the Mountain Capital should hold an impromptu ’Seven Colors Salon’. Is my lord interested?”

”Seven Color Salon?” Rorschach was a little confused.

Although he had learned a lot about the circle of swappers from Su Xueqi, time was limited and it was definitely impossible for him to introduce everything.

Rorschach had never known anything about the Seven Color Salon that Abel was mentioning. This was the first time he heard this name.

Abel also immediately realized that Rorschach was not aware of this, and immediately explained to Rorschach: ”To put it simply, it is a gathering convened by the members of the Seven Majors in the Gray Region. If it is not very formal, it is called the Seven Color Salon, and if it is a major matter, it is called the Seven Color Conference.”

”Isn’t it said that the Displacers are generally unwilling to reveal their identities in the Gray Zone? How dare they attend the rally?” Rorschach asked.

”First of all, participating in the rally does not necessarily mean that your identity will be exposed, because your identity can be concealed throughout the entire process. As long as you prove your identity as a replacement to the organizer when entering, you can participate.”

Abel patiently explained, ”Secondly, since each gathering is convened by one of the seven major parties, no Replacer would cause trouble in such an occasion unless it is absolutely necessary. It has indeed happened in the past, but in the end, those who caused trouble ended up in a very tragic way and became negative examples...”

Speaking of this, Abel also gave Rorschach two well-known examples.

In short, according to Abel, whether it is the Seven Colors Salon or the Seven Colors Conference, there will be no problem as long as you pay attention.

Moreover, by attending such a gathering in the Gray Domain, one does not have to reveal one’s identity on the Blue Water Planet. The only thing to be careful about is not to be followed.

With the seven big ones there as a deterrent, only a few dare to cause trouble. ”Then how did you know about this? They can’t possibly take the initiative to find you to send a notice, right?” Rorschach asked again.

”Not really, but there are usually some specific codes as notifications. If you are interested, I will write down a copy of some common codes for you.” Abel said respectfully.

”Then it’s hard work for you.”

Rorschach did not reject Abel’s kindness, because he was indeed a little green in this area and still had a lot to learn.

Under Abel’s guidance, Rorschach quickly learned the seven codes used to convey simple information in the Gray Zone and memorized them firmly.

As for this Seven Colors Salon, Rorschach would certainly not miss it.

Of course he had to go and see such excitement, and he could guess without thinking that this call was most likely for the upcoming big event!

Although other replacers may not be able to learn some inside information of this incident as easily as he did, even if they do not have the inside information, like Abel, he himself will be one of the participants in the big event.

There is no guarantee that other replacement recipients will not have similar situations.

Especially since this is the mountain capital, one of the four capitals of the Storm Empire, there will definitely be no shortage of replacers.

Su Xueqi had mentioned this to Luo Xia before. Their company also has a lot of arrangements in the Mountain Capital.

It’s just that they were both new to the Black Iron realm before, and it would be risky to rashly contact other swappers, so they chose to stay away from them.

Now that he has successfully broken through to the bronze level, and with Abel, a veteran by his side, he has nothing to fear.

*********
In the Gray Domain, normal business activities usually involve transactions with various chambers of commerce throughout the three empires.

But if it is some transactions that are not easy to see in the open, there is naturally another market to meet the demand. This kind of market is called the black market on the Blue Water Star, and in the Gray Domain, it has another name - the shadow market.

This gray area between black and white, although illegal, is unavoidable as long as there is demand.

Of course, due to its hidden nature, the location and time of the Shadow Market are not fixed.

Customers who have demand and can meet a certain minimum threshold will naturally have no shortage of channels to obtain a venue for the shadow market.

For example, right now, there is a three-day shadow market being held in the Mountain Capital, located in a slum district in the south of the city.

”Are you sure this is the place?”

Rorschach, who was covered in a cloak and wearing a pure white mask, asked Abel who brought him here in his mind.

Communication between the two of them is much easier than with other people, and there is no need to worry about being overheard.

”This is definitely the place. The Shadow Market is always crowded with people, so it’s a good gathering place.” Abel said respectfully.

”Then let’s go in and take a look first... Also, just try to be yourself today. I will tell you if there is anything. As long as I don’t say anything, just pretend I don’t exist. Do you understand me?” Rorschach, who had lagged behind Abel by half a body length and was holding the hand of Ah Dai alone, gave special instructions.
