The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 987: The Earth Shattering Announcement

If there is one good thing about Klaus, it is his dedication when it comes to his training.

He had always given his training his full attention, and at the moment, he was doing the same, making sure he got the best out of it.

Making progress on the path of the Law of Gravity gave him additional strength to seek even more power, and hopefully, he would be able to awaken the second seal on the ’Heaven’s Engine’ before he returned.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, the warriors were all in seclusion after each had received Klaus’s blood.

Some had already taken his blood twice, so this third time was their third chance to become even stronger.

With Efad handing out the blood, every last person who entered seclusion was destined to come out as a monster.

Even the engineers and other non-warriors, but vital members of the Earth Alliance, were given some. With much bigger brains, they would be able to create things much faster.

In the end, every last person was attended to by the end of the week, with Klaus’s wives entering seclusion last.

Two weeks later, after the last person took Klaus’s blood, they started coming out.

No one understood why, but they did not experience the tribulation that used to occur. Those who were prepared for tribulations came out without any lightning bathing them with its fury.

Within one week, 90% of the warriors of Earth and the Bast race emerged, each a new person. By the end of the second week, all had come out with the exception of Prince Challa, who was undergoing some form of evolution, promising to make him a panther to be feared.

However, aside from him, Earth had become extremely powerful.

The number of warriors walking the Earth now numbered over 400,000, and the weakest who had Klaus’s blood flowing through them were at the Ascendant stage.

A couple of years ago, the Ascendant stage was the strongest in the world; however, now, the weakest are the Ascendants.

Klaus’s blood went wild this time, and looking at the lineup Old Lu had ordered following Klaus’s orders, one had to give it to the Earth Alliance—they had come a long way.

Although civilians outnumbered the warriors, there were even several thousand warriors who remained to protect the homes and cities while the main army was away in battle.

These warriors had yet to receive Klaus’s blood. But that won’t be for long.

There are thousands of Ascendant, Void, and Chaos stage warriors, so the Earth could no longer be underestimated.

However, away from them, there are also over a hundred Ascension stage warriors now.

Combining the number of Ascension stage warriors on Earth with those of the Bast race, there are a total of 350 who currently stand in the lineup.

That number was just too high, and Klaus, who had long sensed something was wrong, knew the heavens were up to something bad. It was also the main reason he was hard at work training.

However, the most dangerous part was the Nether stage warriors who had appeared among the thousands of warriors.

In the Earth Alliance, twenty had appeared so far.

Nyxthar, Eren, and Veylor were the first to become Nether stage warriors. Then Abyss, Sir Toti, Wolfi, and Jaguar also followed shortly after.

With Klaus’s harem—Sofie, Princess Eshira, Lulu, Nebula, Lunara, Oheme, Miriam, Lucy, and Queenie—also reached that stage.

Old Lu, Sword King Hiroshi, King T’shan, and Queen Nayiri had likewise reached the Nether stage.

That was just too much for a small world such as Earth. However, the stronger the warriors became, the better for them all.

With the Bast race now part of the Earth Alliance, the warriors were ready for battle.

However, they were not the only unit on Earth.

The vampire army, led by Vampire Queen Tifa, had also become a force worth fearing.

Behind their queen were 4,500 warriors, with the weakest sitting at the peak of the Void stage. In fact, there were only 500 Void stage warriors. The rest were in the Chaos stage, with 120 Ascension stage vampire warriors and their queen at the Nether stage.

Then, away from them, on the moon stood 707 warriors, each a force to be feared. They were the Paragon force that Klaus had personally selected, and they had cultivated the Statue of Defiance.

They are his main calling card against the heavens, telling them that the Cavalry he once led against the immortals was yet again rising slowly.

They were in no way to be underestimated.

All 707 of them were at the peak of the Chaos stage.

Then, far in the Amazon, the Sylvan race (Plantkins) were also ready for the battle that was coming. They had chosen to become healers instead of killers, with the only one who could do the killing being their queen, who could not wait to unleash her power on the battlefield.

There were 5,400 of them, and they were all above the Void stage. It was safe to say that after the awakening, if Earth survived, the heavens would have a hard time in the future.

No Paragon had managed to pull this many humans to his side. The closest he had come was with the Asura race, and that had ended badly. So this was a dangerous gamble.

The engineers were also hard at work, making sure their creations would play a part in the battle they were told was coming.

At the moment, Klaus’s wives were inside the Amazon, having fun talking to the overly intelligent Efad, whose rivalry with Pickle Berry seemed to spark flames every day.

Pickle Berry, who also had the mind of an immortal in a 15-year-old body, did not seem to like Efad swooping in and suddenly becoming everyone’s favorite.

However, after a while, they seemed to have found a compromise, and at the moment, they were working together to help Klaus’s wives.

As for Nirvana and Fury, they were back on Mars helping the two new flame dragon spirits Klaus had awakened. The other elements couldn’t take on their human forms yet, so they are merely tattoos for now.

”So, Asha, how many warriors do you have under your command? Now that you have added two more queens to your hive, I suppose your warriors number over 300, right?” Queenie asked, but Asha just stuck out her tongue and teased her.

”You will see when Klaus returns.”

The ladies smirked and then turned to Nadia. ”How about you, Nadia? We both know, aside from Asha, you are the strongest among us. So, how many puppets can you control, and how many have demon spirits?”

Nadia also smiled and winked at her sisters. Asha laughed with her.

”Two annoying bitches,” Lucy smirked and turned away from them. However, she was the next to be targeted.

”How about you, Lucy? We both know that the Divine Knight you kidnapped last time has yet to appear.

I saw you vanish a few nights ago, only to return smiling. Care to share with us what you have found?”

Lucy was about to tease her sister. However, she paused when a sudden beep sounded in her head, and then a green panel appeared before her eyes.

At first, she wanted to ignore it; however, when she saw her sisters quiet and staring at something, she also looked.
