The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 844 844: Klausʼs Beast Army

”I have seen many things since the apocalypse descended, but this beast is something I am struggling to wrap my head around,” Lunara said, sitting on Klausʼs lap.

”Is he a machine or a beast? I mean, can we even call this monstrosity a he?”

Klaus smiled. ”That is a living thing... And you can call him a he. He is someone incredibly powerful whom I didnʼt expect to turn out this way. It turns out my blood can do more for even creatures from the machine beast race.”

On the tribulation ground, having just ended his tribulation, stood the last of Klausʼs beast army.

The Abyss Engine was the last to complete his awakening, and while it would be safe to say he is probably the most dangerous being on Earth now, he might actually take the title if all things are put into consideration.

The machine beast Fruity met back in the tormented world was powerful. However, this one had become something else.

It came out with two forms, unlike most of his comrades, who emerged with three, some even four: his main beast body and a humanoid form, something he got so that he would be able to blend in with humans.

However, looking at the mecha standing four meters tall, no human would want to be close to it. In fact, no human warrior would want to exchange blows with him. Klaus wouldnʼt even make that mistake.

Abyss, as Klaus started calling him from the moment he awakened his bloodline, stood four meters tall with weapons all over his mechanized armor. It was as if his whole body was made of weapons, as it should be.

But his weapons were much more dangerous than they should be. These weapons included laser guns, laser grenades, laser spears, daggers, swords, and bows.

But those arenʼt even the worst kinds of weapons; the more dangerous ones are the two long sabers sheathed behind him. They have laser-sharp edges and contain powerful crystals that, judging by their appearance, hold additional power capable of boosting their deadliness.

As for his true beast form, he becomes a 60-meter-tall jaguar made of pure weapons. From his eyes to his tail, everything about him has become a weapon.

Even Klaus was shaken when Abyssʼs beast form appeared. Thanks to Klausʼs Star Monarch blood, Abyss has become a deadly weapon—well, weapons.

His cultivation also rose to the 8th level of the Void stage.

But aside from him, the Radiant Hound, which Klaus added to his army when he defeated the spider demon, had also evolved.

It came out in three forms. His humanoid form is that of a golden-haired, handsome young man in his late 20s. His eyes are golden wolf eyes, showing he has a perfect human body, but not perfect human eyes.

He still carries his heritage as a wolf. In his human form, he possesses the spearmanʼs class thanks to Klausʼs blood.

His demi-wolf form makes his claws rather deadly to anyone who messes with him. When he assumes his beast form, his body is covered in golden armor, rising as high as 40 meters, 20 meters short of the Abyss.

Just like Abyss, his cultivation is also at level 8 of the Void stage.

Then there is the Crimson Crown, who became a rather beautiful redhead lady wielding power over blood and capable of using daggers like swords.

She is Queenieʼs beast companion, so it was only natural for her to have blood affinity. Her demi-lion form allows her to use both her claws and daggers.

As for her 30-meter-tall true beast form, her beauty and deadliness are worth fearing. She immediately used the connection between her and Queenie to return to Earth.

Later, Queenie named her Sura, a short form for Asura...

The fourth was the Stone Carapace Tortoise, who had now become a Metal Carapace Tortoise.

Like Abyss, he emerged with two forms. Thankfully, his humanoid form allowed him to interact with humans.

His body is human, but his back is covered in tortoise shells. However, since he wore clothes, nobody would know that. But his beast form is a terrifying one.

He had become a 50-meter-tall, 70-meter-wide tortoise, whose shell is made of metal, making him one of the most powerful defensive warriors in existence.

If he could grow and rise to the level of an immortal, not even gods could break his defense. As for his offense, only a few could defend, considering his elemental affinity is metal, and he had already attained perfect affinity for the metal element.

Then came Pickle Berryʼs mother, who had already returned to Earth using the ship.

It was one of the first things she wanted right after her bloodline awakened, and she transformed into a beauty who rivaled Klausʼs women.

She didnʼt take her naga (demi-serpent) form or her Devouring Serpent form.

However, she became powerful, robust enough to protect herself and the one she loved from even a Chaos stage being, considering she is now a level 7 Void stage powerhouse.

Then the Hybrid Beast he got from Blite Mountain also arrived, and as someone who had cultivated in the Chaos dimension, he had become very powerful.

Klaus even chose him to become his guard from now on. He came out with four forms. His human form is that of a bald fellow with jaguar eyes.

On his body are tattoos of the Antelope and the snake he devoured to become a hybrid beast—perhaps a tribrid.

His second form merged all three beasts he is made of, becoming one terrifying alien creature that will only continue to grow as he devours more beasts. The third form is a golden jaguar, his true form before he became a hybrid.

As for his 4th form, only the heavens can perhaps comprehend its monstrosity. It comprises his jaguar, snake, and antelope traits. Klaus and Lunara could wrap their minds around it.

It was a 50-meter-tall jaguar with the heads of both a jaguar, a snake, and an antelope, and the best part was that each head had a different element.

Fire, lightning, and ice, which by all accounts are dangerous, and Klaus was impressed by that part of him. So, he made him his personal bodyguard.

Naturally, Klaus made him his personal Guard because somehow, Jaguar managed to comprehend Chaos energy and has even attained Super affinity, just a step away from Perfect Affinity.

This makes him incredibly dangerous, and perhaps, from Klausʼs perspective, he had the highest potential among all his beast army.

So Jaguar became his beast personal guard.
