The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 829: Suspicions

”Nari said Queenie just completed her bloodline awakening,” Lunara said, sitting on Klausʼs lap as he massaged her ass.

They are still on Mars.

”So they donʼt want to tell me, huh? Are they worried Iʼll abandon everything here and rush back?” Klaus shook his head, a smile playing on his lips.

”They know you, Klaus. Knowing they started their awakening will make you want to go and support them. They even asked me not to tell you, but I figured you should know.

And if they need help, donʼt even think about going. I will do that on your behalf. After all, I can easily teleport there and back.”

Klaus just smirked and lifted her into his arms. Then he flew away as they began their exploration. He wanted to understand the topography of Mars, so since he had nothing else to do, he and Lunara started exploring.

Veylor had already told him Nirvana and Fury were with him, so he wasnʼt really worried. Not that he had to worry...

They are his flame elements that gained intelligence, so he could even leave them on Mars and go back to Earth, and they would be fine.

The only way they would die is if he dies. So basically, he has two children who would die with him. A rather romantic death if you ask me... Lol.

While Klaus and Lunara continued to explore Mars, back on Earth, Queenie, Nari, Pickle Berry, and Klausʼs mom were seated under a tree, drinking.

”Why are you all treating me like a baby? I am ten, okay? I should drink the good stuff some,” Pickle Berry said, holding her fruit juice in a rather tall glass.

”Kids should drink only fruit juice. When you turn 16, you can have the good stuff,” Klausʼs mom said, causing the two ladies to laugh.

”I guess I will tell big brother when he returns. You three are bullying me, especially you, mother,” Klausʼs mom brushed her hair, smiling.

”Donʼt worry, after eating more cores, youʼll become a big lady.”

”No, I donʼt like cores. I just want big brotherʼs blood. That one is more delicious.” Though Klaus had yet to give her his blood, she had drunk loads of it in their past life, and that was when his bloodline wasnʼt even the Star Monarch.

So, she wanted to have a taste of this one, but Klaus told her to grow a little, worried the power behind the blood couldnʼt be handled by her. Now, she was akin to a Great Sage, so she was qualified to drink it.

”Klaus said he would bring your Mom along when he comes. Maybe she will persuade you to eat some core,” Nari said, but Pickle Berry just shook her head.

”I wonʼt eat.”

They tried to persuade her for a few minutes, but she was determined not to eat the core. They just let her have her way. Though they knew that if Klaus were to tell her to do it, she would gladly obey.

This showed just how much she liked her brother more than anyone else.

”So, your mother has now become your sister, huh?” Klausʼs mom asked, staring at Queenie. Being asked such a question made the Asura Queen blush.

Nari had already told her everything, so she was up-to-date on what was happening in her sonʼs harem. Not that she wouldnʼt find out when they returned, but getting ahead of it would help her prepare well.

”Mother always had a thing for him, so I guess she couldnʼt hold herself back anymore and went for what she wanted,” Queenie said through her blush.

Nari used her shoulder to push Queenie, making Queenie turn and look at her. ”I want to watch when you, big sister Lunara, and big sister Ohema are doing the... You know...”

”Pervert,” Queenie said, but she couldnʼt stop her blush.

Klausʼs mom just smiled, knowing this was something the wives of her son should debate. She didnʼt want to poke her nose into it... for now.

However, while she was smiling at them, something else was running through her mind—something she never expected to feel...

”I am a little concerned about that news lady who left earlier. Donʼt you ladies think there is something suspicious about how she just left?” she asked, stopping Queenie and Nari from their shameless banter.

”Indeed. I saw her look at her phone and frown. Though it was just a few moments, I caught it. And it was after that that she left. You donʼt think she is in trouble?” Pickle Berry surprisingly said.

”Unless perhaps she found herself in a situation involving a Void stage being, she will be fine. After all, Klaus said she is even stronger than the Overlords, based on her true aura.”

Klausʼs mom and Pickle Berry nodded.

”Itʼs weird, now that I think about it, even after becoming a Void stage expert, I couldnʼt even sense her True form and cultivation.

It was like she was just a Great Sage human; however, Klaus said she was an Ascendant sitting at the peak. But that canʼt be right. I couldnʼt sense her cultivation base even as a Peak Void Stage being.

Just who is KKKickinIt?” Nari asked.

”Whoever she is, I have a feeling sheʼs someone with a powerful background. However, we arenʼt aware of any organization or family on Earth that can be that powerful. So, where is she from, or who is she, to be more precise?”

Queenie quickly spread her senses, which can move several miles away. However, she couldnʼt catch anything.

KKKickinIt left a few minutes ago, so even with her jet, she couldnʼt have gone too far, and now that she is at the peak of the Void stage, Queenie has the sensing range that could sense her.

But miraculously, she wasnʼt in her sensing range, which puzzled her.

”Even the plane she was traveling back on is gone. It was like she was never here.” They all became puzzled.

The fact that she suddenly left was a sign that something was going on. However, now, they canʼt figure it out, so they can only wait for her to come back.

”Letʼs just forget that for now. Klaus will be back in a month or two. Knowing him, heʼll be able to figure something out.”

Meanwhile, while the four ladies were wondering about so many things, the person in question stood in front of a small mountain in a remote location in the Equatorial Union, the former Africa, before the apocalypse.

After ensuring she was alone, she pressed her hand on the mountain, and like she was never there, her figure vanished, leaving not even an aura.

There wasnʼt even a sigh that she had been there. Her presence was gone, as if she were away from Earth.

This suggests something profound was at play. But like Queenie said, he will figure something out when Klaus returns.

**

A day passed after Queenieʼs awakening. A few hours later, the second awakening started. This time, it was Lucy, the Queen of Vine.

This time, instead of blood rain and red skies, a forest of vines appeared, signalling the awakening of the Queen of Vine, who once dominated the universe.
