The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

827  Supreme Void Monarch

The Star Monarch bloodline is one that will make the heavens bleed to the core one day.

Millions of years ago, Efad, the lonely elf banished to the outer reaches of the lone forest, awakened a bloodline that drew all kinds of monsters, beasts, and even the two only Phantom Cats in existence.

The Red Tail Immortal Phantom Cat and Black Tail Immortal Phantom Cat became his first two contracted beasts, and that was when the bloodline, which made every immortal, god, supreme, or celestial grow greedy, began to dominate the world.

First, it picks a normal beast that, provided they share destiny with Efad, will rise the moment the bloodline enters their body, regardless of how weak they are.

It was no exaggeration to say that the three great calamities became his followers.

The three great calamities, which were said to play major roles in ushering the universe into new eras, became his obedient followers, making him one of the most feared individuals during his time.

Now, this bloodline has surfaced again, and this time, instead of just taming a great calamity, it went beyond that and even turned a Forbidden Being taken from the forbidden universe into a human who can be related to.

The jagged, terrifying Death Knight who came from the forbidden universe is now a handsome human man who will undoubtedly be liked and related to by everyone.

The heavens donʼt want to see this. They hate it when a paragonʼs family keeps expanding. However, this time, they canʼt do anything.

Nyxthar not only became human but also underwent some great changes that even terrified Klaus. First, his realm moved from the Ascendent to the Void stage and quickly reached level 7.

However, that was to be expected, considering all those who receive his blood undergo sudden changes, mostly involving their cultivation base.

Lady Lani was at level 4, but after she absorbed the Star Monarch blood, she became a level 9 Void stage being. The only thing left now for her is to comprehend and transform her Law of Self to the next level before she can break through to the Chaos stage.

But the leap in cultivation base is just one of the changes Nyxthar went through.

The second change was his human form. In this form, he is still Nyxthar, a level 7 Void stage being. However, he isnʼt the Death Knight. In this form, his scythe changes to a sword, making him a swordsman.

However, even in that form, he is terrifying because his class, which is the Void Reaper class, still applies to him, meaning his control over the void doesnʼt change at all.

In essence, his human form allows him more mobility. The only downside is his strength, which is several times stronger in his Death Knight form.

But aside from that, he is still very powerful, regardless of which form he takes. He can use his skills in both the human and Death Knight forms.

But while having a human form came in handy, he also received a new form that even Klaus was terrified of.

This made him ask the question of how far the Star Monarchʼs bloodline would go and what this meant for the future. It was to be noted that his blood was given to him when he was a mere Great Sage.

Now, however, he had become a Transcendent, meaning his bloodline had also strengthened. But even with the weakened form, Nyxthar has awakened a new form that allows him to harness the Void to a rather terrifying level.

There are various stages, ranks, or levels in the comprehension of energies. Basically, oneʼs comprehension of, say, the lightning element, goes through some stage/levels/ranks.

The first four are the easiest to walk on: the Common, Refine, Realm, and Transformation.

However, after this fourth stage, the fifth, Immunity, comes in. However, not everyone calls it immunity; others may also call it Resistance. This fifth stage is where real comprehension of the energies starts.

In that stage, there are the Initiate, High, Super, Perfect, Transcendent, Harmony, and Perfect Harmony.

Nyxthar has already reached the High stage in both his human and Death Knight forms. This allowed him to handle the tribulation easily.

However, in the new form that he had awakened, his comprehension is at the perfect stage—something that shouldnʼt have been possible in an unwakened world.

However, the Star Monarchʼs bloodline allowed him to hold a perfect comprehension of the Void. And now, for three hours every single day, he can use this form.

It is a form called Supreme Void Monarch. Essentially, he is a monarch of the Void in that form.

”Also, master...I have three powerful skills that can only be used in that form. One of these skills allows me to open the Void and morph weapons from it.

The best part is that this weapon is created directly from the Void, so its impact on my reserve Void essence is limited.”

Lunara, seated on Klausʼs lap, looks back at him, and the two smile.

”Looks like Veylor wasnʼt exaggerating when he said you are the strongest of them all,” Lunara said.

Nyxthar smiled.

”We are all powerful, my Lady; itʼs just that I am more connected to the Void than they are. However, when it comes to battle, all five of us are currently powerful.”

Nyxthar was also shocked to discover that he now had a human form. That wasnʼt the case for him millions of years ago.

Shit, even millions of years ago, when ever they want to breakthrigh, they had to go back to the forbidden universe to do that.

Now, he can do that and even go as far as interacting with beings in this universe.

After checking his human body, he couldnʼt help but smile, knowing this was a great way for him to blend in with the humans.

”So, what do you plan now?” Klaus asked.

”Unless the master has a mission for me, I want to return to the Void and continue strengthening my understanding. If and when I am needed, I will come out.”

”Donʼt you want to go back to Earth and make some friends?” Klaus was a little taken aback by his dedication to training.

Nyxthar smiled, ”I will, but for now, I want to understand a few things before the awakening arrives.”

Klaus, who knew Nyxthar was once a powerful cultivator, knew he just wanted to grow stronger faster so he could fulfil his role as a Doom Guard.

He couldnʼt blame him.

After a few more chats, he sent him back to the Void, and he and Lunara decided to continue their exploration of Mars.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, Queenie had finished absorbing Klausʼs blood, and her bloodline started to awaken...
