Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 58 See rare skills againChapter 58 See rare skills again

It was another afternoon on the third floor of the Alliance Building. Russell and Ayou arrived at Ecological Warehouse No. 39 on time and started today’s skills training.

However, compared with the increasing training volume, its progress has slowed down a lot.

It easily increased by 20.00% from the first day, barely broke ten, and then dropped to single digits. After crossing the 90.00% mark, it simply started to increase little by little.

Nowadays, it is no longer helpful for Ayou to bear the restraint of shadow and feel the flow of shadow. It began to learn to use ghost energy to drive Russell’s shadow under the guidance of Candle Shadow Moth.

”Don’t be anxious, feel the fluctuations and changes of energy carefully, and don’t exert any force.”

Feeling the slightest tug from his own shadow, Russell encouraged Ayou, who was highly focused and the ghost energy on his wings was constantly surging.

call--!
Learn new skills to use in fights!
Ayou was very motivated when it came to improving her combat effectiveness, and she did not feel bored at all during the days of training.

However, having motivation does not necessarily mean that you will be able to learn smoothly. The UFO Hawkmoth clan itself has no talent related to shadow control. Ayou can only slowly explore step by step with the guidance of the Candle Shadow Moth.

Due to unskilled energy control, the mental energy consumed during skill training is several times greater than the normal use of skills. Even if it has grown to the third level, the time it takes to stop and rest to restore energy is much longer than the training time. .

After a day of hard training, Ayou’s shadow control proficiency reached 90.00%. It felt that today’s training goal had been achieved. Russell was ready to leave home, but it refused to leave despite any words.

call--

Just a little bit close, work hard!
Faced with a proficiency level that was about to reach full but always fell short of this point, Ayou was obviously very dissatisfied and shouted that he had to finish practicing the skills today.

In this regard, Russell, who has always been Buddhist in character, really can’t understand it.

Even if there is only a % improvement every day, it will only take ten more days of practice. Why bother working so hard...

However, he didn’t want to dampen Ayou’s enthusiasm for training, so he stopped and waited for Ayou to continue training, but just told it to take it easy.

”Okay, okay, you can practice a little longer and relax.”

It’s just that Ayou didn’t seem to understand the meaning of ”enough is enough” in Russell’s words. With the support of the beast master, it started training even harder.

Seeing Ayou desperately flapping her wings to channel the ghost energy, Russell burst into laughter.

You won’t be overtired if you keep practicing like this, right?

I’ll buy some more supplements on my way home later...

Feeling a little helpless and happy because of Ayou’s diligence, Russell suddenly felt a familiar throbbing.

The pet beast is going all out to pursue the dream of becoming stronger, and its mood will also affect the beast master through the spiritual connection. This is the so-called bond.

Ayou had a similar feeling when he was training his shadow clone skills.

Then... Ayou realized the butterfly shadow skill that was more powerful and easier to use than the shadow clone!
”Is there another chance to learn rare skills?”

Realizing that Ayou’s efforts inspired a response from the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, Russell quickly raised his hand and released the energy thread.

Sure enough, when the energy thread came into contact with Ayou’s body, the last gap in its shadow control proficiency quickly reached the full value.

At the same time, Russell also received the expected message:
”Your pet is releasing its potential. Thanks to the nourishment of the Cocoon of Evolution, it will have a chance to learn rare skills.”

Rare skills, here they come!

However, this time the information from the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent did not include three different skill options, but two ”yes or no” options.

”Your pet has understood the power of shadow. Do you want to let the power of shadow purify its blood and randomly learn a rare shadow-related skill...

Note: After fusing the power of shadow, the shape of the pet beast will change to a certain extent. ”

After reading this piece of information, Russell barely hesitated for a second and decisively chose ”yes”.Not only can you master rare skills, but it also comes with blood purification?
Is it even necessary to think about it?Make a lot of money!

As for the shape change... the ghost system itself is closely related to the shadow. After absorbing the power of the shadow, it doesn’t matter if it looks a little more spooky, weird or ugly~
call--? !

I do not want!
Ayou expressed strong protest against this decision that did not consider her appearance.

Handsome and strong, this is the standard configuration of a protagonist. Ugly and strong, he is usually a tool!
Unfortunately, Russell directly ignored Ayou’s accusation. Wrapped in the power of dark shadow, it slowly fell into a hazy and mysterious state.

…………

This situation is not actually a true transformation, and the time it takes is far less than that of evolution.

Ten minutes later, the power of shadow slowly dissipated, and Ayou, whose appearance had changed slightly, slowly landed on the starlight orchid grass where the shadow moths lived.

Under the influence of the power of shadow, Ayou’s figure did not become ugly at all, but became more handsome.

If its wings were like a piece of dark gray crystal reflecting a shimmering light before, now they have turned into a starry night sky, revealing a mysterious and elegant temperament.

With the increasingly hazy figure and the third level of dark scale powder, it is not difficult to imagine how outrageous the evasion rate of Ayou who uses Butterfly Dance will be.

At the same time, it also has an additional skill called ”Shadow Form” in its skill bar.

”Shadow Form: The power and consumption of ghost skills are greatly increased, and the additional effects of shadow skills are increased.”

Simple description, very abnormal effect.

After the spiritual energy it carries has evolved, Ayou’s total energy has made great progress. It is naturally happy to see the results in exchange for energy consumption for skill power.

Nether Explosion already has powerful power across levels. If it is greatly improved, it should be able to kill all living beings equally if it hits non-human shield beasts of the same level.

Moreover, the shadow form can also enhance the special effects of shadow skills, which is another huge improvement for Ayou, who knows butterfly shadow and has learned the Shadow Sewing Arrow.

That’s right, in the previous operation, ”Shadow Form” was an extra gift, and the Shadow Sewing Arrow that was supposed to be learned was not missed.

After upgrading from Shadow Arrow to Seam Shadow Arrow, the damage attribute of this skill is completely reset to zero, turning it into a very practical control skill.

Hitting the opponent’s shadow with a shadow-stitching arrow can cause a powerful freezing effect. Depending on the enemy’s strength and mental strength, it can be controlled for about two to three seconds.

If the increase in shadow form is superimposed, it is not impossible to control it for five seconds at a time.

call--!
fight!fight!
After training for these days, he finally advanced his Shadow Arrow skill and unexpectedly learned a new skill. Ayou could no longer hold back his passion for fighting and clamored for Russell to find him some fights.

”...I’m going to pick up the big sword mantis later, or else I’ll practice my skills with my last opponent, the bloody-toothed wolf.”

This time, Russell finally agreed to Ayou’s request to find someone to fight with.

During this period, Ayou experienced advanced evolution and learned two very good skills. He really wanted to test what level Ayou’s combat power had reached.

With a relaxed, happy and eager mood, Russell solemnly thanked the candle shadow moth, and then rushed towards the Bloodstone Martial Arts Hall with Ayou.

…………

At this time, Xiang Heng, who was directing the Bloody Greedy Wolf and the Dao Dao Mantis to conduct combat training, sneezed for no reason.

”Ah Choo...!”

The weather has been quite hot recently. Why did I suddenly feel a chill?

Touching the goosebumps on his arms, Xiang Heng felt that he must have been training too hard recently. When the sparring class purchased by Russell was over, he must give himself a good vacation!
