Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 54 Double HappinessChapter 54 Double Happiness
Russell may not be able to satisfy Ayou’s itchy hands and desire for a fight for a while.

”Don’t worry, in a few days I will take you to learn the skills from the Candle Shadow Moth last time. You have to work hard and learn the Shadow Sewing Arrow as soon as possible.”

When Ayou’s evolved state becomes more stable, he will have to start making arrangements to improve his shadow control proficiency.

Relying on the newly acquired ”Source of Evolution” ability, maybe he can really strengthen his shadow control to the level of proficiency like Candle Shadow Moth, and Ayou’s strength will once again undergo a qualitative change.

Moreover, playing a full-scale event is actually quite tiring.

After the rookie group competitive match, just traveling back and forth is quite troublesome, not to mention the time constraints that have to be arranged in accordance with the event process.

Therefore, Russell decided not to participate in some small events easily if necessary.

Of course, this does not mean that he has completely become a Buddhist. He will no longer fight and kill, and will become a full-time pet shop owner.

In addition to quarterly competitions such as the rookie competition, Senluo City also has formal city competitions every year that do not limit the age and level of participants. The four principalities will also hold a grand competition every three years with a nationwide registration range. event,
At the same time, private battles, gambling competitions, arena competitions, etc. are also very popular competitive sports.

These competitions are played one at a time. Even the group competition only requires a few hours of fighting. You can still experience it occasionally and verify the cultivation results.

As for going to the wild to carry out some bounty missions, Russell did not consider it for the time being. After all, the Black Dew Forest has been very unstable recently. If he encounters a crazy high-level pet beast in the wild, there will be no return.

drip-

Just as Russell was planning the direction of his recent cultivation, his cell phone suddenly rang.

”Brother Russell, the queen bee egg seems to be moving, would you like to come over and have a look.”

On the phone, Lu Yinning, who had been busy at the breeding farm recently, sounded delighted.

During her time working at the Imperial Chongwu House, she was exposed to more practical knowledge about cultivation than many of her classmates who were interns at large companies.

For experiences like cultivating rainbow silkworms and hatching queen bees, you can get full credits by writing a report on any part of it.

Moreover, Russell didn’t have any bossy airs and was usually as easy to get along with as his elder brother. After the expansion of Yuchongwu’s business, he even offered to raise his salary, which made Lu Yinning feel extra motivated to work every day.

I heard that Yu Chongwu recently won the right to use a piece of forest land, and Russell was looking for candidates to grow pet food rations. She felt the invisible pressure of competition.

With the goal of becoming a veteran employee of the Imperial Insect House and hugging Russell’s thigh, come on and be a worker!
”Okay, I’ll be right over!”

Russell was also overjoyed when he heard the news that the queen bee egg was about to hatch. There were so many good things today that the corners of his mouth almost reached the back of his head.

A few minutes later, he arrived at the breeding ground at a trot.

After these days of operation, this originally empty factory is now much fuller. Several rows of special breeding equipment for silkworm pets make a slight sound of mechanical operation. Leaf-breeding insects half as tall as a man are dutifully guarding the big mulberry silkworms. Next to me, I put the cut mulberry leaves into the crisper from time to time.

At the edge of the breeding ground, there are also several natural climbing trees, which are prepared for the cocoons of silkworms that are about to mature.

Standing at the entrance of the breeding farm, Lu Yinning pointed at an incubation device that was turned on to the highest power and emitted a warm yellow light.

”The shell of the queen bee egg has cracked, but it seems that the young queen bee inside won’t be able to get out for a while.”

Walking to the incubator and looking through the glass cover, Russell could indeed see that there was a gap in the golden egg shell of the queen bee egg. In the gap, he could also see a small mouth that was constantly eating the egg shell. .

Focusing his attention for a moment, Russell quickly saw the information about the larvae in the eggs.

”Young queen bee
Attribute: Bug

Bloodline Level: Gold
Life energy level: Level

Skill: Spinning Silk
Growth progress: 10%

Among them, insect energy accounts for 8% and plant energy accounts for 2%.
Ability development: None

Bees are also a race that needs to undergo complete metamorphosis to mature. Now this young queen bee is still in the state of a worm. Although its natural blood level is gold level, it is actually as weak as a newborn silkworm and cannot withstand anything. A little wind and rain.

If it is a young queen bee hatched in the hive, there will be guard bees with sharp stingers to protect it. The worker bees will feed it royal jelly and grow. After several months of growth, it will eventually form a cocoon in the hive and emerge as a new generation of queen bee.

However, there are no worker bees from the previous generation living in the breeding ground, and the queen bee, who is currently too young, does not have the ability to call out the surrounding bees. This task naturally falls on Lu Yinning.Fortunately, Lu Yinning is also very happy to take care of this future cash cow of the Insect House. This is a high amount of credits, and she has qualifications as an old employee!
With joy and anticipation, the two people moved stools and sat next to the incubation device and waited patiently.

…………

Since the waiting time was a little long, Russell and Lu Yinning began to talk about family matters.

”Ning Ning, where is that delicious barbecue restaurant you mentioned last time?”

After getting to know each other, Russell also called her by her nickname along with Lu Dahu.

”It’s right next door on Huayuan Road...ah, the young queen bee crawled out!”

The two of them were discussing what to eat for dinner today, when Lu Yinning glanced at the incubator and suddenly let out a cry.

After hearing her words, Russell quickly stood up and looked into the incubation tank.

Sure enough, the golden egg shell had completely cracked at this moment.

After several hours of hard work, a white, soft young queen bee finally crawled out of the egg shell, raising her little head and looking curiously at the world.

grumble……

After staring at the two strange humans in front of her for a while, the young queen lowered her head and ate the remaining egg shells.

The egg shells of oviparous insect beasts are rich in nutrients, and some even contain the inheritance of abilities. Therefore, the first thing that the larvae of most races do after hatching is to eat their own egg shells.

After a rustling gnawing sound, all the egg shells entered the belly of the young queen bee.

After eating the egg shell, it shook its head and crawled around in the incubation tank, obviously not full yet.

”Bring the bottle of royal jelly from the safe, as well as the nectar and nutritional supplements next to it.”

Seeing this scene, Russell quickly said to Lu Yinning.

Generally speaking, the queen bee’s food is only royal jelly, which has the highest nutritional value. However, royal jelly is not brewed from nectar, but is the body secretion of worker bees. Because the production is rare and it is the main food of the queen bee, the honey pot valley is rarely open to the outside world. Royal jelly for sale.

Russell relied on Dr. Natsuki’s connections to get this large bottle of royal jelly.

Since the royal jelly was not enough, he could only mix it with flower nectar and some complex nutrients produced by the Beast Control Alliance to make the rations for the young queen bee.

Baihua honey is the highest quality honey in the surrounding area. Although it lacks some growth hormones compared to royal jelly, it is still good for filling the stomach.

The larval stage of bee pets is shorter than that of silkworms. When the young queen bee grows up, it can call the scattered bee colonies around it or give birth to offspring on its own. At that time, there will naturally be new worker bees to provide its daily diet.

chirp...

After the young queen bee finished the prepared royal jelly, Russell conducted an energy screening for it and eliminated the little bit of plant energy that was not needed.

Feeling the beauty of the ”cocoon of evolution”, the young queen kept rubbing her head against his fingers, obviously showing her goodwill.

Unfortunately, Russell had no intention of contracting the queen bee from the beginning, so he could only touch her head to express some comfort.

He made this decision for two reasons:

Firstly, it is because the pet beasts raised since childhood are very loyal. Even if they are not bound by the beast control contract, they will generally not escape or rebel. For ordinary people, it is nothing more than no spiritual connection and communication. It took some effort.

Russell, who calls himself the ”Insect Whisperer” to the outside world, naturally does not have to worry about this problem.

Secondly, the queen bee itself is not a pet beast that relies on its own strength to fight. Relying on the evolutionary aura to slowly evolve the entire group and ordering the bees to fight in groups is the development path it should take.

Russell’s contracted pet quota must still be reserved for the main battle pet.
