Building a Business Empire with my Technological System

Chapter 367: Three Years Later
September 19th, 2033.

Three years had passed since Michael and Bridget had moved into their dream home in Forbes Park. In that time, Michael had devoted himself to steering Reyes Corporation to unprecedented heights. The company had become a powerhouse, not just in Southeast Asia, but on the global stage. Now, Reyes Corporation was ranked among the top five richest companies in the world.

The company’s meteoric rise was no accident. Every product they released seemed to push the boundaries of what was possible, with innovations that felt more like something out of science fiction than reality. These revolutionary technologies had not only solidified the company’s dominance in the market but also turned the Philippines into a burgeoning hub of technological advancement.

Reyes Corporation alone accounted for at least 20% of the country’s GDP, a staggering achievement that underscored its influence and reach.

Every Filipino knew what to answer when they were asked what Reyes Corporation meant to them. It was more than just a company; it was a source of national pride. The company’s presence was everywhere—from the cutting-edge medical and computer technologies that saved lives and connected people, to the renewable energy solutions that powered entire cities.

Reyes Corporation had become an integral part of everyday life in the Philippines and beyond.

Michael often found himself reflecting on the journey that had brought him to this point. He remembered the early days of his entrepreneurial career, about how he started after receiving the technological system that gave him a ticket to a life that he has now.

Now he was looking down at the city from the floor-to-ceiling windows of his office, it had a soothing effect for him whenever he looked at the BGC skyline, it was refreshing. After gazing at the beautiful sight for a little bit, he opened his system and checked his stats.

”Who is it?”

A familiar voice answered, light and confident. ”It’s me, Juliet.”

Michael’s demeanor softened instantly. Juliet had been an integral part of his journey, and her presence was always a welcome one. She stepped into the room and waved a hand to him.

”Juliet, what brings you here?” Michael asked, closing the system interface with a wave of his hand.

Juliet smiled as she approached his desk, a folder in her hands. ”I figured I’d check in and see how you’re doing. Plus, I’ve got some updates on a few projects you might want to take a look at.”

Michael nodded, motioning for her to sit down. ”I appreciate it. What’s on the agenda?”

Juliet took a seat across from him, her expression turning serious as she opened the folder and pulled out a few documents. ”First, I wanted to update you on the progress of the new medical facility we’re funding in Davao. The construction is ahead of schedule, and the local government has been very cooperative. They’re eager to see it completed, and so are we.”

”That’s great...but how about the thing that I asked you in the evening.”

”You mean starting up a banking company?”

Yes, that’s right. Michael wanted to start something different from his enterprise. And it was banking. The idea came from a mission where he’d received 100,000 system points if he started one. It was an easy 100,000 system points and there’s no way he would pass on that opportunity.

”Yes, starting a banking company,” Michael confirmed.

I know it’s a shift from what we’ve been focusing on, but I see a lot of potential in it. The financial sector in the Philippines is ripe for innovation, and I think Reyes Corporation could make a significant impact there.”

Juliet nodded, her expression thoughtful as she considered his words. ”It’s definitely a bold move, but I can see why you’d be interested. The banking industry is crucial, and there’s plenty of room for new players, especially one with the resources and reputation of Reyes Corporation. Have you thought about the specifics yet? Like the type of bank you want to establish or the services it will offer?”

Michael appreciated how quickly Juliet adapted to the idea. ”I have. I’m thinking of starting with a digital bank—something that leverages our technological strengths. We can offer services that are not only secure and reliable but also accessible to a wider range of people. Mobile banking, instant transfers, low fees, and a focus on financial literacy.

Juliet’s eyes lit up with interest. ”That’s a smart approach, especially considering how much of the population is underbanked. If we can provide them with a reliable digital platform, it could revolutionize the way people handle their finances.”

Michael smiled, feeling a sense of validation in his decision. ”Exactly. I want to create a banking system that empowers people, not just in the Philippines, but eventually on a global scale. We have the technology, the expertise, and the infrastructure to make it happen.”

Juliet flipped through the documents in her folder, nodding as she took in the details. ”I’ll work on it right way.”

Michael grinned. This is going to be exciting. He is one step closer to dominating the entire market in the Philippines, leaving no room for competition from the established competitors.
