Building a Business Empire with my Technological System

Chapter 190: Finalizing the Purchase
”I have forgotten to ask you this, Mr. Reyes, but what is your budget? Perhaps if the price is too much for you, we can find an aircraft that is less than the cost but offers the same amenities and convenience,” Collins said.

”Wait...I can afford a 250 million dollar aircraft, it’s just that I have to talk to my business partner here,” Michael replied, glancing at Bridget who nodded at him.

”I’ll give you some time alone to process that,” Collins said, stepping back from the table to give them privacy.

Michael turned to Bridget, his voice lowered. ”What do you think? Is it worth it? We need something reliable for international trips, but the price tag is steep.”

Bridget crossed her arms, thinking it over. ”It’s a significant investment, no doubt. But if we’re going to expand globally, we need a reliable mode of transport. The Dreamliner offers the comfort and space we’re looking for. Plus, it would save a lot of time and effort compared to commercial flights.”

Juliet leaned in. ”It’s a big decision, but we need to think long-term. If you want to meet with partners and clients worldwide, this could be a game-changer. It would also give us flexibility in scheduling.”

Michael nodded, considering their input. ”Yeah, I get that. It’s just that I have a lot of projects that need funding, and this is a big chunk of change.”

It was his thought, he did expect that the private aircraft would be expensive, but not that kind of expensive. He had other enterprises he’d want to enter, such as military, communications, and computers, all of which required a lot of funding.

Bridget put a hand on his shoulder. ”Look, Michael, if you feel this is the right move for the business, we can make it work. But if you’re having doubts, maybe we should explore other options.”

Michael nodded, appreciating Bridget’s practicality. It was a massive commitment, and he wasn’t sure if it was the right one. Again, the price tag was enough to fund multiple smaller projects or even expand existing ones. Well, thinking about it, he could get the money he needed, it’s not like he needed to expand on other enterprises that fast.

”Maybe you’re right,” Michael replied, his voice thoughtful. ”Private aircraft it is.”

”Great...so should we call him back?”

”Yeah, let’s call him back,” Michael replied, nodding to Bridget. They both looked over to Collins, who was standing a few feet away, pretending to check his phone to give them privacy.

Collins came back over with a professional smile. ”So, what’s the verdict? Are you interested in the Dreamliner, or would you like to explore other options?”

”We’ll go with the Dreamliner,” Michael said, feeling a sense of relief now that the decision was made. ”So how do we make payments?”

”Well, it’s kind of easy to be honest,” Collins said, looking at his notes. ”There are a few different modes of payment you can choose from, depending on your preference and financial structure. The first option is a full upfront payment, where you’d pay the entire $250 million at once. This is the simplest method, and it typically comes with a small discount because you’re paying in full.”

Michael nodded. ”Yeah, it does seem like the most sensible option. So, we’d just need to provide the downpayment to get the process started, and then the monthly payments would begin within 30 days of delivery?”

”That’s correct,” Collins confirmed. ”Once the down payment is made, we can finalize the financing agreement, and the delivery of the Dreamliner can begin. If you want to rush, we can get the Dreamliner for you next month.”

”Okay...I have a check here,” Michael reached into his jacket pocket, pulling out his checkbook. ”I can write the check for the downpayment now,” he said, flipping to an empty page and pulling out a pen. ”Will $25 million be enough to get the process started?”

Collins nodded, a satisfied smile on his face. ”That will work. Once we receive the check, we can begin finalizing the paperwork and set a delivery date. Would you like the delivery to be here in London or somewhere else?”

”Let’s make it in Manila,” Michael replied. ”That’s where our base of operations is, and it would be more convenient to have it delivered there.”

Collins jotted down the information. ”Perfect. We can arrange for the Dreamliner to be delivered to Manila International Airport. Once we finalize the financing terms and you make the down payment, we’ll confirm the delivery details and coordinate with the airport staff to ensure a smooth handover.”

Michael wrote the check, signed it, and handed it to Collins. ”Here you go. Let’s get this Dreamliner process started.”

Collins took the check, double-checked the amount, and nodded.

”Thank you, Mr. Reyes. We’ll get everything moving on our end. You should expect a call from our team within a few days to go over the next steps and confirm the financing details.”

”Sounds good. We’ll be ready.”

Collins shook hands with Michael, then with Bridget and Juliet. ”Thank you for choosing the Private Jet Business. If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to help.”

The meeting concluded, and Michael, Bridget, and Juliet left the office, heading back to their car. Carter and the security team were waiting outside, keeping an eye on the surroundings.

”How did it go?” Carter asked, noticing the satisfied expressions on their faces.

”We’re getting the Dreamliner,” Michael replied, sliding into the backseat. ”It’s all set. We just need to finalize the financing details, and then we can focus on getting everything ready in Manila.”

”It’d be the greatest flex for an entrepreneur such as you Michael,” Juliet said.

”True...can’t wait for me to get more popular the moment the Philippine netizens see a post of me posing in front of my Dreamliner,” Michael finished, chuckling as he settled into his seat. He couldn’t help but imagine the buzz that would generate on social media—photos of him with his luxurious private jet.
