Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 91: Dungeon: Delliah’s Meadow at the Horizon’s End (1/2)

[Silvester: What do you think about his proposal?]

[Rudra: Thatʼs dated for the month after next, and I wonʼt answer until a month later. I am going to sniff in darker places, and if I am right in my suspicion, I am going to do my best to prevent you all from triggering the Floor Boss. If those old bastards die, we are going to have a big loss of power. We donʼt know whatʼs going to happen in the future, so we have to be prepared.]

[Silvester: Sniff in darker places, huh? Do you think your suspicion will prove true at those places?]

[Rudra: Thatʼs my current best bet.]

[Silvester: Are you going alone?]

[Rudra: I canʼt afford to take anyone with me.]

[Silvester: Want me to come? If you are really right, then donʼt you think going alone might be dangerous even for you?]

After a second of silence, Admiral Rudra replied.

[Rudra: Alright. Iʼll tell you when I am going. Be ready.]

…

Almond had entered meditation and used his specialized class questʼs skill insight at 10 oʼclock yesterday night, and he had just woken up after spending 24 hours.

”Welcome back, Master.”

The pearly charming voice belonged to a beautiful girl in her twenties with a forest-themed maid outfit.

”Donʼt tell me you didnʼt move at all after I summoned you?” Almond wryly smiled.

He had summoned Dark Pope Benedict and Forest Maid Sylvia as guards before he entered meditation.

”I simply stayed here as your guard since there didnʼt arise any need for me to move,” Sylvia smiled.

”I see. Well, just relax now and follow your desire. You can laze around, tend garden, or train. Just keep your mind active and running, okay?”

”As you wish, Master. Then may I go to the garden? I wish to explore something there,” Sylvia said with twinkling eyes.

Almond grinned, ”Go.”

ʼNice, they are thinking,ʼ Almond internally nodded in satisfaction. He wanted his sentient summons to grow more and become more intelligent.

They were already a new soul, a new kind of species with intelligence, so if they could grow their consciousness and become more intelligent, they would be able to self-develop their powers, like how Adventurers start introspecting their skills and how magic works to improve and create skills once their Perception and Focus cross past 50 points.

It wasnʼt easy, and it usually took multiple months to even years to develop a powerful skill, but these Spirit Wraiths had high stats, and their existence was based on their power. If they became more intelligent, Almond felt they could develop their powers further.

Almond went outside and saw that Alfred and Dark Pope Benedict were hanging around on the ground.

Sensing Almondʼs presence, Alfred promptly bowed and said, ”Master, while you were aware, the products have been sold.”

”How many?”

”All of them.”

Almond was taken aback, ”All of them?!”

”Yes.”

Almond used his wristwatch to check this account balance, and he was dumbfounded.

2.02 million gold coins after deducting the delivery charges.

”I might have gotten a very good business in my hand,” Almond muttered.

”My lord, now that youʼre awake, are there any instructions for me?” Dark Pope asked as he glanced at Sylvia, who was humming cheerfully and tending to the garden, sowing seeds she created and watering them.

”Hmm, nothing in particular. Do whatever you want, and if you want a sparring partner, I can summon Ashkar.”

”Oh, that is interesting, my lord. I would love to do that.”

…

Almond stayed with his summons for half an hour. Alfred was roaming around the three buildings, cleaning and adjusting them. He also told Alfred to do anything like cleaning and stuff.

Almond granted his summons access to Television and the internet as well so they could learn more about them.

Afterward, he contacted Lily and found out that she and Natalia were somewhere on a hidden island in the sea with Lady Aria for extensive training, and they would return after a day.

After talking with her, Almond decided to do some fighting and training to get stronger as well. He had a new skill that he wanted to test and also finally introspect his class skills and learn how the magic worked since he had reached 200 in Perception and Focus.

With those two stats that high, Almond was eager to learn more about magic and the construction of skills.

Contacting Marshal Lopol, he first asked for a blue-bordered B-rank Dungeon.

…

[You have entered the Delliahʼs Meadow at the Horizonʼs End]

As Almond stepped into the meadow, the sheer vastness of the landscape stretched endlessly before him. A lush field of vibrant, otherworldly flowers blanketed the ground, glowing faintly in the perpetual twilight. The horizon seemed both near and impossibly far, bathed in warm hues of gold and pink as if caught in an eternal sunset. Wisps of light flitted lazily through the air, their trails sparkling faintly, while the soothing hum of magic resonated faintly beneath Almondʼs feet.

ʼDamn, this dungeon is amazing,ʼ Almond felt amazed at the scenery.

Yet, this serene beauty felt…strange. The meadow seemed alive, watching, its tranquility masking an undercurrent of danger. As Almond moved forward, distinct areas began to show up.

ʼThose must be the monstersʼ locations.ʼ

The nearest one was a glade. A dense grove of silver trees spread there. Their mirrored leaves reflected the twilight sky, creating a disorienting array of light. Faint whispers echoed through the glade, drawing intruders deeper into its heart.

[You have entered the dungeonʼs first area—Whisperlight Glade]

As Almond entered and walked past a few trees, he saw two fairy-like monsters dancing in an empty patch of ground with beautiful designs carved on the surrounding treesʼ trunks.

One blue and one pink. Male and Female. Both fairy-like monsters held some weird wooden instruments in their hands as their crystal blue and red eyes glowered at Almond upon seeing him.

ʼTime to see if my fiddling in the skill works or not.ʼ
