Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 61: Fish on the Hook (4), X-Rank Trait: Tenacity!!

The floor boss towered at an imposing fifty meters, a colossal figure carved from rugged stone with deep fissures crisscrossing its surface. These cracks pulsated with an eerie glow, streaming vibrant red and green energy, giving it a life-like aura.

In its right hand, it wielded a massive, shattered sword, jagged edges gleaming ominously in the light. Its left arm ended abruptly at the elbow, replaced by a menacing hook that seemed to glint with a predatory intent. As it lifted its head to the sky, a thunderous roar erupted from its depths, echoing through the surroundings, a primal sound that signaled both power and impending doom.

[Lord Wildered the Broken]—Floor Boss

-Vitality: [100%/100%]

-Mana: [25,000/25,000]

-Stats:

—Physical:

↳[Strength: 200 | Health: 1000 | Stamina: 500]

—Mental:

↳[Mana: 2500 | Focus: 200 | Perception: 200 ]

Almond’s eyes flashed with power as he immediately made the first move.

Divine Divider’s Harvest!

The ethereal grimblade manifested and slashed through Lord Wildered before its Vitality suddenly dropped to half, from 100% to directly 50%!

In turn, Almond felt surging vitality coursing through him! Now he was as tanky as the floor boss!

The air crackled with anticipation as Almond stood at the center of the battlefield, his gaze fixed on the colossal Floor Boss towering above them.

’Attack!’

Everyone attacked at the same time, unleashing a bombardment of exotic skill attacks containing their full power.

Alfred unleashed a vortex of flame like a drill containing all of his Mana, blindingly beautiful as it pierced through the darkness toward the monstrous giant.

Skill: Flamestorm Drill!

Chimera Viperfiend, in its formidable tank mode, crackled with mana as it released a relentless barrage of a condensed beam like a railgun from its barrel.

Skill: Vipertoxin Beam! A new skill attack in its Synthesized Tank form.

Chimera Frank assumed its terrifying Monster Lord form, a hulking figure of raw power. It let loose a terrifying roar that sent visible ring-layered shockwaves that dealt devastating damage, crackling the Floor Boss’s exterior.

Skill: Echo of Ruin!

Dark Pope, cloaked in shadows, extended a hand, and summoned tendrils of darkness that lashed out with ferocity, striking the Floor Boss and inflicting deep wounds that siphoned its strength.

Skill: Shadow Strike Whiplash!

Forest Maid Sylvia, in her Forest Queen form, sprouted a giant sunflower that unleashed a bright, burning golden beam, unleashing a furious offensive attack.

Skill: Sunburst Fury!

In the eastern sky, Chimera Crystalist floated gracefully, shimmering with crystalline beauty. With a swift motion, it launched a barrage of razor-sharp crystal shards that flew through the air like deadly missiles, exploding on impact and raining glittering destruction upon the Floor Boss.

Skill: Prismatic Onslaught!

Crouched in the northeast, the Starlight Beast glowed with ethereal light, coiling its muscles like a spring. It leaped into the air and enveloped itself into a starlight veil before crashing down upon the Floor Boss with explosive force.

Skill: Starlight Meteor Strike!

Lastly, in the southeast, the Infernal Knight raised its greatsword, and a sweeping arc of molten lava cascaded over the Floor Boss, igniting it in a blaze of destruction.

Skill: Molten Arc Cleave!

*Roarr!!*

The Floor Boss—Lord Wildered roared as they swept its broken sword in a furious motion, its vitality still at 21%!

The broken sword was suddenly extended with a dark red and green energy weaved on it.

But Almond was ready with his own strongest attack with his insane stats. Before launching this attack, he had used Divine Divider’s Harvest again to halve Lord Wildered’s Strength stat and absorb it!

Next, Physical Enchantment—boosted his Strength by 100%!

He attacked the incoming sword attack of Floor Boss with his Preying Hunter’s sword in a slashing motion, bearing all of his power as it cut past Lord Wildered’s sword attack before Almond jumped and executed five slashes in quick succession, exerting all of his physical prowess!

Five Slashes of Starlit Destruction!

This simple move of the sword required him to exert his physical prowess to the limit to perform five slashes that would be connected to each other and create a star-shaped carving infused with a devastating attack from his exerted physical strength and condensed Mana!

*BOOOM!*

[Congratulations. You have displayed the transcendental feat of defeating a Floor Boss all by yourself. You have been awarded with 1,000,000 Gold coins.]

[You have been awarded a complete Floor Boss Subjugation Reward Chest for achieving 100% contribution on this Floor Boss fight.]

”Woooh!” Almond landed on the ground as the adrenaline rush got to him with that last attack.

That was by far his strongest executed attack. On top of his already insane stats, he had further boosted himself with Divine Divider’s Harvest.

”Good work, everyone.”

The Floor Boss scattered away, leaving behind a glorious treasure chest that nobody had ever gotten before.

But Almond put it inside the storage bag that Lily had given him before leaving since Lily had kept Jacob’s storage pouch inside Almond’s backpack that she took out with her when she left.

Afterward, Almond captured the Floor Boss’s Spirit and simply lay on the ground right there and then.

[Spirit Kodoku has fini-]

’Yeah, yeah, later.’

”I am going to sleep. Look out for me, buddies.”

The last time he slept was over a day ago, and he had been fighting non-stop, so he was extremely tired as his adrenaline rush died down, and in just a few seconds, he was sleeping like a log.

Ten hours later, Almond woke up, but along with feeling vigorous and refreshed, he was suddenly assaulted with a burst of memories.

Clutching his head, Almond saw images flashing in his mind, voices of people he had never seen before but somehow felt familiar, and most of all, the destruction of the world happening in front of his eyes before he entered into the Labyrinth’s 30th Floor, and then the image skipped to the mysterious notification telling him that he was going to be reborn and could get his memories upon clearing 1st to 10th floor of the Labyrinth.

But then, everything went blank, and a clear flow of memories entered him.

The memories of him when he was a kid with different parents. How they entered the Labyrinth, died, and his life turned a mess before he trained hard until he was eighteen and entered the Labyrinth, becoming stronger gradually, forming new bonds, and bearing new hopes.

He and his party cleared the second floor and celebrated outside before the flow of memories was cut off.

At that moment, Almond understood everything that was happening.

The light in his eyes shifted, his entire vibe elevated, and he oozed out an aura resembling an indomitable sword, viewing everything in front of it as nothing more than temporary obstacles for him to overcome.

’The world of my past life was destroyed…’ Almond clenched his fist.

’Although I didn’t get my full memories, the images, my entry into the 30th Floor, that dead Floor boss, and that message…’

’Whatever the case, this is my new life, and I will make sure the same fate won’t befall this world, for I have people I hold dear now, and I will have more of those people in my life,’ Almond’s eyes were bright. Looking at the Spirit Wraiths and his feats so far, he had a surge of confidence and drive because he was strong!

And he was going to get stronger, stronger than anyone, to find who or what was putting the Grimworld Tutorial on worlds.

’Grimworld Tutorial, and whatever that is above this…I am coming there, coming to destroy your system. That is my ultimate goal!
