”Woah, what a monster,” Natalia exclaimed. ”Those quirks are so useful. Why don’t we have those?”

”Maybe we would have if we ate each other and evolved like that. I guess that depends on chemistry,” Almond chuckled as he looked at Lily. ”Lily would know.”

Natalia burst out laughing while Lily jokingly rolled her eyes.

”That aside, this monster is going to be very useful for us,” Lily’s eyes glinted. ”Almond, how do you plan to assign the stat points?”

”Hmm, I’m tempted to focus on Strength, Health, and Mana more, but I’ll do evenly for now. What if it awakens a new skill if I increase its Focus and Perception?”

Saying that, Almond distributed the stat points, adding 7 to each stat.

”And,” Almond grinned and waved his hand. ”The new batch of items are ready. With them, we’ll be able to fight the boss with fewer risks.”

The boss they were going to fight could be arguably the strongest boss on this Fairy Mountain.

Wandering Fairy was also strong, but it was a different type of monster than the one they were going to fight in White Polan’s lair.

Both were Silver level 10 Boss-type monsters, the strongest ceiling possible on the first floor of the labyrinth. However, in terms of lethality, White Polan’s boss was stronger.

”Each of us will wear the Snow Hide Cloak since we have three. They are made from White Polan Tiger Spirits,” Almond shared the cloaks and then the item’s details.

[Snow Hide Cloak]

-Grade: Uncommon.

-Duration: [3 days]

-Durability: [500/500]

-Defense: +30 P.def, +30 M.def.

-Perks:

—> +3 Health.

-Effect(s):

—> Gravity-Repel: Infusing 50 Mana in the cloak will make you highly lightweight for 1 minute, reducing the gravity effect on you by 30%. Cooldown: 2 minutes.

”What’s this? Your items didn’t give stat perks before,” Lily was surprised. ”And the duration is automatically 3 days?”

”Yep. I think reaching 30 in Focus and Perception improved Spirit Factory automatically. I got a notification, but it was during the fight, and now it’s gone, but I remember it was related to it.”

”This is nice,” Natalia wore the cloak. ”It’s furry like tiger’s fur, but it also gives us good overall defense, especially at the back.”

”Yep, it’s indeed very good equipment,” Lily nodded as she also wore the cloak and grinned. ”This effect is going to be my favorite.”

”Yeah, we’ll become faster with it,” Almond nodded and took out the next items, ”Next is Polan Tiger’s Belt, but I only got two of those.”

[Polan Tiger’s Belt]

-Grade: Uncommon.

-Duration: [3 days]

-Durability: [300/300]

-Perk:

—> +2 Stamina, +2 Focus.

-Effect(s):

—> Poly-items (Passive): You can stick items to this belt in miniature form with simple contact. Up to five items.

”Wait, for real?” Natalia quickly took a belt and put her crossbow on it. In the next second, the cross-bow became like a keychain and hung on the belt.

”Holy shit!”

Lily and Almond were also surprised.

”These effects from your Spirit Items are pretty awesome,” Lily grinned. ”You two wear the belt. I already have a storage pouch at my waist to pick things.”

”Yeah, this will be handy. We can hang potions and items at our waists now,” Almond got up and put on the belt.

He put on the one that gave lower stat perks and gave the one with more stat perks to Natalia.

Lily took out two Mana potions and two Healing potions before taking out more things.

”Here, you wanted to use this at this boss from the start, so you can hang them at your waist now,” Lily took out two Shimmering Serpent’s Fangs—one-time-use items.

”Lily, I want two Bog Slither Arrows,” Natalia’s eyes twinkled. ”I can use them during battle now.”

”No need,” Almond interjected with a chuckle as he took out the next item, ”I have something better to hold the arrows.”

”Woah, Quivers?” Natalia fixed her gaze on the three Quivers.

”That’s pretty nice,” Lily blinked, curious. ”And I suppose these quivers have effects too….”

”Yep, let’s see what they got,” Almond shared the details.

[White Dust Venom Quiver]

-Grade: Uncommon.

-Duration: [3 days]

-Enchant: +10% Damage to arrows in the Quiver.

-Perk:

—> +2 Mana, +1 Perception.

-Effect(s):

—> Arrow 1: Infuse 10 Mana to generate a White Dust Venom arrow in the quiver.

—> Arrow 2: Infuse 20 Mana to generate a White Dust Toxin Blast arrow in the quiver.

—> The quiver can only hold up to 10 arrows.

”Crazy item….” Natalia was dazed.

”How many quivers you got?” Lily asked with twinkling eyes. She was also an expert archer, so this quiver was very tempting.

”More than we need,” Almond chuckled and took out two more quivers. ”Take these two. They got better stat perk.”

Both of them replaced the normal common-grade quivers with the new ones.

”Next items are rings. I got four of them, so Alfred can also get one,” Almond took out four rings before sharing the status of one.

[White Polan Charm Ring]

-Grade: Uncommon.

-Duration: [3 days].

-Perk:

—> +1 Focus, +3 Stamina.

-Effect(s):

—> Charm: Infuse 50 Mana in the ring to manifest a snake illusion that has a 10% chance to charm the target, allowing you to command it for 10 seconds.

—> Magic Shield: Infuse 50 Mana to generate a projectile shield in front of you to defend. High magic defense but low physical defense. Cooldown: 1 minute.

”The first effect is pretty much useless with a 50% chance,”—Natalia said, ”But the second one is pretty good.”

”Yeah, high magic defense shield is good,” Almond said as he activated the effect.

A meter radius big shield appeared one meter in front of him. He could move it just with his thought, making him a little surprised.

Lily blinked, ”That’s nice. At least we won’t need to hold the shield and can instantly activate the ring’s effect.”

Almond gave the ring with the best perk to Natalia and then distributed the others with him, keeping the one with the lowest stat perk.

”Spirit Snake Bite, this one is a one-time use item that can increase any pain felt by twice for 1 minute, and I got only one,” Almond handed it to Lily, ”Put it in the pouch, we don’t need to use it on monsters.”

”True.”

”What’s next?” Natalia eagerly asked while rubbing her palms.

”White Dust Carapace Armor. It’s big and heavy, so Lily and I won’t use it. Alfred and you can use it,” Almond gave the armor to Natalia and Alfred before sharing its details.

”It looks kinda beautiful even though it’s made from that White Dust Centipede,” Natalia grinned.

”A mage with that armor looks funny,” Lily chuckled.

[White Dust Carapace Armor]

-Grade: Uncommon

-Duration: [3 days]

-Defense: +100 P.def, +70 M.def.

-Perk:

—> +3 Health, +1 Strength, +1 Focus.

-Effect(s):

—> Defense Up: Infuse 50 Mana to increase original defense values by 20% for 1 minute. Cooldown: 2 minutes.

—> Dust Mist: Infuse 50 Mana to release a dusty mist within a 10-meter radius for 10 seconds, obstructing the vision of everyone.

”Not bad,” Natalia grinned. ”Looks tough enough, and I love the effects.”

”Thank you, Master.”

”Any more?” Lily looked at Almond as if asking for more candies.

Almond smiled and took out three pairs of boots and two Sabers. ”Lethal Fang Boots and Lethal Fang Sabers. These are the last ones.”

”Boots? Noice!” Natalia was excited. Weapons were useless to her, but this batch of production was all useful items that everyone could wear and use.

”Boots sounds nice indeed,” Lily smiled.

”Let’s see what they got for us,” Almond shared the status of Letha Fang Boots.

[Letha Fang Boots]

-Grade: Uncommon

-Duration: [3 days]

-Speed: +10% normally, +20% in the forest.

-Perk:

—> +2 Perception.

-Effect(s):

—> Lethal Jump (Passive): Increases jumping power by 50%.

—> Lethal Dash (Active): Consume 50 Mana and Dash anywhere within 10 meters at a sonic speed, but silently. Kinetic power generated in the process is stored in your body, increasing your next physical attack’s power by 10% to 20%. Cooldown: 10 seconds.

”This one is simply wonderful,” Lily was amazed.

”Indeed. Jumping power 50% is big for us,” Almond grinned, ”Not to mention the increase in movement speed.”

”I like the boots, but since we only have three pairs, give one to Alfred,” Natalia said, a bit relucent, ”Since he is paired with me and protects me, they would be better off on him.”

”Oww~, my baby finally grew up,” Lily teased Natalia.

Natalia pouted, ”I am still a baby. Give me your milk, mama Lily.”

”Oh shit, I got an idea. Don’t use condoms when you make love, so Lily can produce milk eventually, and I can drink it then!”

”…”

”…”

Almond threw the saber at Alfred, giving him a better sword. This saber had better Attack than the spear, and its effect gave it bonus damage on slash-type attacks.

”I am not going to use this, so put it in the storage,” Almond said as he gave the other one to Lily.

”Alright.”

Ignoring Natalia, both of them closed their eyes and started meditating to recover their Mana.
