Apocalyptic Wasteland Simulator

Chapter 208 - 203: Ah! Passion Collides
Could it be time travel? Have I, in the future, already achieved such a level? If I could reach that point, what laws of the world couldn’t I defy?Damn it, my brain is fried!

Chen Pingchuan suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head. It was perhaps a mental distortion caused by his physical injuries, causing the emotions buried deep within him to surge violently. He abruptly stood up, his face alternating between red and white, looking utterly terrifying under the sunlight.

Compared to his external appearance, the changes within his heart were even more turbulent.

One moment, an ultimate rage emerged, making him want to destroy the entire world. The next, an extreme lust surfaced, driving him to conquer every woman he had ever met.

In fact, signs of Chen Pingchuan’s lust had already appeared back at the mines, evident from the multiple times he had touched Nightingale’s face—an absolutely abnormal act. After all, with Chen Pingchuan’s level of self-control, he should never have lost command of his body like this.

Just then, Wei Xi returned to the makeshift dormitory after buying breakfast.

”Hey, your breakfast. I have to tell you, this wasn’t easy to get. I waited in an incredibly long line, I...”

Before Wei Xi could finish, her clear and sweet voice instantly obliterated what little sanity Chen Pingchuan had left.

Like a lion in heat, Chen Pingchuan charged toward Wei Xi. To her utter disbelief, he tossed her onto the bed with immense force.

BANG!

The massive impact made Wei Xi’s vision go black. She never could have imagined that the seemingly frail boy, who looked like he could be knocked out with a single punch, possessed such power. Moreover, since Chen Pingchuan hadn’t done anything outrageous just moments before, Wei Xi had let down her guard, allowing him to succeed so easily.

Wei Xi felt as if her entire body was about to fall apart. She tried to get up and escape, but the Chen Pingchuan before her was no longer the same person.

With his traits of rage and lust activated, his attributes didn’t weaken. Instead, they soared fifty percent higher than even his previous peak condition. As such, Wei Xi, a low-ranking Beast Tamer of the three lowest tiers, was naturally no match for him.

Chen Pingchuan’s actions were extremely rough. He would even attack her whenever she tried to resist.

RIP...

Following the sound of tearing fabric, lewd noises filled the dormitory.

「One hour later」

Chen Pingchuan looked at Wei Xi. Her eyes were vacant, and she clutched her upper body tightly with her arms, the tear tracks on her face clearly visible. An unprecedented feeling surged into Chen Pingchuan’s heart.

Looking at Wei Xi trembling like a frightened rabbit, Chen Pingchuan gritted his teeth and said fiercely, ”Don’t worry, I will take responsibility for you. If you’re still not satisfied, kill me or cut me up. I won’t resist.”

Chen Pingchuan didn’t bother to explain his abnormal behavior. To him, explanations were meaningless; the values from his past life made it impossible for him to accept what he had done.

He suddenly felt like a true scoundrel. Whether it was his actions toward Xia Qingxue, Ji Hongxiu, Belia, or even the other women who appeared later—looking back now, how was he any different from those scum from his previous life who played with people’s emotions?

At this moment, Chen Pingchuan truly despised himself for becoming the very person he had hated most in his past life. So when he said he was willing to be killed or cut up, he meant it. He wasn’t just trying to garner sympathy.

Chen Pingchuan’s words were resolute. Wei Xi, who had looked like a broken porcelain doll with lifeless eyes, stood up from the bed. She didn’t care if she was exposed; she just stood there, eyes blazing, staring at the boy who had taken her virginity.

She saw that his face was also filled with desolation, with no hint of the excitement that should come from possessing another. For a moment, Wei Xi felt he was like an old man who had lost all faith. I’m the victim here, so why does he look like he has nothing left to live for?

”Fine! You think I don’t dare to kill you, is that it?” she shrieked at him. ”I’ll show you!”

Wei Xi turned, pulled a dagger from her clothes, now shredded to strips. She had prepared it beforehand but hadn’t gotten the chance to use it last time.

The next second, the sharp dagger cut through the air, stabbing toward Chen Pingchuan’s neck with lightning speed.

Chen Pingchuan watched the dagger fly toward him. His body instinctively wanted to dodge, but just as he was about to move, he forcefully suppressed the impulse. Then, he felt a cold sensation on his neck. He could clearly feel the blade piercing the skin of his throat.

On this threshold between life and death, he thought of his previous life.

He started to feel nostalgic. Maybe death wasn’t the end of life, but the beginning of a new destiny.

The expected darkness never came. The dagger, which had already pierced his skin, was suddenly withdrawn.

Wei Xi looked at this man who didn’t resist at all, and her heart was thrown into disarray.

She didn’t know how she should face him. Revenge? But she didn’t seem to have the heart to kill him. Just smile and let it go? But could she really bring herself to forgive the boy who had taken her virginity? Or… should she have him marry her?

At this thought, Wei Xi’s pale, bloodless face couldn’t help but flush slightly. She furiously berated herself in her mind.

Wei Xi, oh, Wei Xi, have you no shame? Just because he’s handsome, you throw all your principles away? He just forced himself on you, and now you don’t even want to kill him. Instead, you’re…

The more Wei Xi thought about it, the redder her face became. Her strange reaction, however, went completely unnoticed by Chen Pingchuan. He had now completely lost the emotional intelligence of a normal person.

”Is the dagger not sharp enough? It’s fine, I’ll wait for you.”

After saying this, Chen Pingchuan turned around and picked up the breakfast that had fallen to the ground. Thanks to the outer packaging, the contents were still clean when he opened it.

Just like that, Chen Pingchuan sat on a nearby bench as if no one else was there. Looking at the pristine white, nameless pastry in his hand, he suddenly felt the urge to cry for some unknown reason.

Other people transmigrate to normal worlds with cheats to help them. They get gold, treasures, and harems of wives and concubines. But what about me? Things were fine at first. Life was a little poor, but it was at least a life worth living. But ever since I got that simulator, all this talk about becoming a god or a saint has come to nothing. Instead, I’m just being chased around by the dangers of the apocalypse! It’s like I became a donkey being chased, never daring to stop for a single moment. I’m so tired! I just want to fall asleep and never wake up!

Just as Chen Pingchuan was wallowing in self-pity, the war in Wei Xi’s mind finally ended. She remembered her sister’s words: ”Between life and death, nothing matters more than being alive. As long as you live, you must keep going.”

And so, as Wei Xi watched Chen Pingchuan sitting at the table eating an osmanthus cake, a fresh wave of anger washed over her, and she strode toward him.
