The First Legendary Beast Master

Chapter 1945 Is Not Hard To Make

”Alright, who is next, I will make them for the ones who are here first. If the design is more complex, Tian will be helping.” Karl announced.

That actually excited the bunnies more than the prospect of getting the items in the first place had. Everything that Tian made had a little bit of that fox charm cuteness to it, even if he hadnʼt intended for it to.

So, when he was deliberately making the sorts of things that the bunnies wanted, it would be even more pronounced.

Item after item, Karl turned out the cooking bonuses, and found that having Tian alone help him would not be enough. Many of the things that the cooks had requested were clothing items, which was somewhat startling to Karl, given how little clothing was normally worn inside the Tiny World.

He had set the temperature to a subtropical warmth, so it got a bit cooler overnight, instead of being oppressively hot all the time, and the mountain areas got properly cold. But only a few of the dragons chose to live higher in the hills were it was colder.

So, a very minimal amount of clothing was more than enough.

Still, there were dozens of shirts, dresses, even boots on the list of things that the cooks wanted made with the enchantment for their cooking.

Karl silently regretted not thinking of footwear first. It was never in the way when you were working, it didnʼt interfere with other jewellery that you might have on for particular skill bonuses, and it was actually quite uncommon for footwear to be more than just a piece of armour.

Perhaps he would do it next time.

By the time that the chefs all had their new items, an entire day had passed, and both Tian and Karl were ready for a good long nap, before they were inevitably pulled into making items for everyone else.

The temptation to get a new item to help their crafting skills was too tempting, and every member of the Darklight Host wanted one.

Especially those whose only skill item was one they made themselves from Karlʼs directions when they were inducted.

That was enough to get them going, but not enough to really count as gear. Not compared to the Peerless Grade items that Karl was handing out now. Not even close to being in the same league.

In fact, they were more nostalgic than anything.

It wasnʼt a bad change for them, though. They were all getting increasingly swamped with work now that Karl had made a deal with the Blue Elves, and the Elders of the Pack had been informed that there would be another trade fleet coming every week, bound for different points on the coast.

With the way that the trade routes worked, that would give most spots outside the immediate region one ship per month of Darklight Host goods.

But for those on the north and northwestern parts of the coast, all those goods would be long gone before the elves made it to them, and other goods would have taken their place. The Immortal World was simply too large, and the continent was tens of thousands of kilometres across.

Even the fastest ship using the Blue Elves network of portal locations outside their floating cities would struggle to make it around the continent in a realistic timeframe.

The limitations on portal use were simply too mana intensive to make it practical to do constant portal jumps.

Word of the new source of high end gear that the Elves had found was spread fast around the southeastern end of the continent, where the first fleet had begun to deliver their goods.

The first stop hadnʼt been able to afford to buy out everything that they had, which was actually a bonus for them.

They got to wait for the word of the items to spread before the next stop and pull more Clans into the sales instead of relying entirely on the wholesalers from the coastal Clans.

Like the New Home Merchant Clan was for their region.

For most, that was an amazing thing. They were getting the sort of gear that they had previously struggled to obtain from the dungeons, and couldnʼt afford to get from the crafting Guilds. But for others, it was a disaster.

Through the Blue Elves, the Darklight Host had hit the local market with the financial equivalent of an explosion spell in an enclosed room.

Everything was destroyed, and the markets completely collapsed as the Elves priced everything at forty percent above System Price, no matter how rare the materials to obtain the effects usually were.

Need an item that deals pure fire damage and boost fire skill output? Why pay fifty thousand Clan Credits to your Elders when the Elves were selling it for a tenth that price at the docks?

How about an epic grade item that increases mana regeneration by triple most peopleʼs base rate?

They have that, and itʼs available for gold coins, not trades for other Epic Grade items and resources. The availability of rare bonuses was beyond anything that the Clans could conceive, and the Elves didnʼt care that certain resources and bonuses were all but nonexistent in certain parts of the continent.

They simply sold to whoever came first.

But the worst part was that nobody could stop them. The Elves had too much combat power for most Clans to defeat their fleets on the open ocean, and those who regularly dealt with them would back them up, so that they didnʼt lose access to the trade goods they provided.

The Elves might have a bad reputation, but they also had what people needed.

Karl was completely unaware of the chaos that the Elves were causing with only a few stops along the shore, just far enough north that nobody had heard of the Darklight Host before. So, they were all caught unaware when a sudden influx of Elders showed up in the shop, looking for Epic Grade goods.

And because they werenʼt aware, they never thought to stop the visiting customers from pointing out the dayʼs Peerless Grade offerings on the top shelf.
