Super Electric Eel Avatar

198 Sudden Even
Qiu!

The moment the mysterious man fell to the ground, he pulled the trigger subconsciously. The 7.62mm bullet roared across Chen Fan’s head, blowing open a finger-thick black hole in the ceiling.

”Damn your masters, Nakagawa Emi…”Chen Fan felt only numbness all over, and a chill feeling in his spine.

He had guns, too, but he did not say anything. He couldn’t shoot people, not even in his own home. He was not a murderous gangster, but was just a kid, who grew up in the peace years, a naughty kid, who used to fight in school and never dared hurt anyone.

”Don’t move, for if you move again, I’ll shoot!” Chen Fan acted cruel and took out a pistol from his back. The crisp sound of loading bullets was heard, leaving two mysterious people, who could not see the scene, at a loss.

The pistols he had seized were of high quality, and were made by the old Italian gun company Beretta, which had been hijacked from a ship by Wei Songyue, before being taken back by Wang Bing. With the help of a night vision device, Chen Fan zoomed down several flights of stairs, grabbed a black man’s retractable electric baton, and held it in his hand.

He knew how powerful this thing was. A bear bigger than a human could fall down like a fallen tree, if he was hit by it. Crackling, crackling, crackling, the two men in black, who had been trapped in the corner of the wall, showed looks of horror.

Another man, who had been kicked by Chen Fan in his chin, was acting as if he had been possessed, unable to struggle, when he heard the crackling sound of the electric baton. After he was shot by the electric batons, he was immediately as if he had been cut in the nervous system, his whole body going rigid.

”It’s better than a handgun or something, as it works faster and has no serious effect.” Chen Fan kicked the two men, who fell down, before he could even snort. Seeing that they did not respond, he leaned over and prodded them. Chen Fan, who was not prepared for such an outcome, was scared and had a chill.

The three men dressed in black seemed unaware that, hidden in his clothes, placed at his waist and near his ribs, were all deadly weapons: the SUT retractable fighting stick, a leather gun sheath, a spare cartridge clip, a small revolver...

”My dear,” Chen Fan gasped. Are they going to fight in Afghanistan or against a law-abiding businessman?

Without the help of the flash, how could he be so ruthless as to lay out these three guys, who wanted his life?

”Hello, have you picked up Yunmeng?” Chen Fan phoned his friend, after dragging the three ”dead pigs” into the living room and running to the balcony on the third floor, where the satellite signals were good.

”I’m on campus now. I’ve got her. I’ll be home in twelve minutes.”

”Well, those three have been knocked down by me with my electric baton.” Chen Fan did not show any expression, while touching Xiao Xue, which he had locked on the balcony. He then said quietly, ”Don’t rush back, take Yunmeng somewhere to eat something. It’s not good for her to see this scene. When I take the three men to the dock by the sea, you can come back, and we’ll raid them all night.”

”Well, well, I’m good at that!” Wang Bing’s voice was full of impatience. ”You hurry up, and when you are done, call me!”

”Yeah!” After pressing the phone off, Chen Fan ran downstairs, ready to find some ropes and strips, to use to tie them up in hemp.

”How dare you send someone to my house to rob me?” he demanded of the robbers. ”I’ll ask for your details, and the little girl will be whining for her father and mother.”

............

Two men in black uniforms and yellow armbands walked side by side on the tree-lined boulevard around the lake, their thick black oxen boots kicking up the asphalt.

”Whew, it’s cold in this weather! The man on the left looked up and exhaled a string of white fog. ”By the way, Ma Shuai, how is your foreign wife?”

”How else? Her family wants me to take 100 thousand RMB in monetary gifts, and then buy a commodity house in the county town. They say that if I do not, then we are over!”

The robust young man, called Ma Shuai, was not surprised. ”The parents these days are not marrying their daughters, they are selling them.”

”Who says? It’s supposed to be a good job for us, to have a secure salary of 3,000 RMB a month and a few hundred RMB bonus every year. But if you want to buy a house and get married, you have to work for fifteen years, all without eating or drinking!”

”Yeah... ” Ma Shuai rubbed the hand that was frozen and pale. ”Wait for me to save enough, like 100 thousand, and ask my parents for tens of thousands, and then think of a way to pay the down payment! As for the gift money? Sheesh. Only then will she marry if she likes, and if she doesn’t, it’s okay. Do they really think that we men are worse than donkeys, who are tired of supporting a wife and putting effort on her mother’s house?”

While complaining, Ma Shuai’s cell phone suddenly rang, and he took a look at it.

”My girlfriend’s calling!” Ma Shuai let out a bitter laugh, then pressed the on the button to answer.

”Hello,” he said as he performed his duty of patrol, using all kinds of flattering words to ward off his girlfriend’s complaints.

Zi... zi...

As he continued walking more than 100 meters down the lake’s tarmac, there was a steady hum of electricity that sounded from his cell phone.

”What’s wrong with the signal?” Ma Shuai, who was already upset, began to frown.

”No, my signal is full!”

When he looked at his phone, he found that the signal on his side was only showing two grids. He walked one step forward, due to his habit, and the signal was lowered by another one.

”Hello...Hello” Ma Shuai roared a few times, as the detection signal was getting worse and worse, so he had to hang up the phone. ”What a stupid cell phone!”

There were special mobile base stations and Unicom base stations in the community, even in the basement, where the calls would not be affected, so he thought his phone was out of order. After about 50 meters, he noticed that the signal on his cell phone had suddenly changed from no service area to now having a grid signal.

”Eh?” The flat-headed man suddenly stopped. ”My cell phone, like yours, has one signal.”

They exchanged a look, then, without saying a word, they quickened their pace at the same time and walked thirty meters. When the signal was full, the two men doubled their speeds, and their face expressions changed greatly.

”Hello, duty room, near area A, no. 8, there is a mobile phone jammer working. Send someone here immediately.” Ma Shuai ran outside the interference area and called out on his walkie-talkie.

In less than a minute, all 12 security guards in the entire duty room rushed in their four-wheel battery cars to meet the two men.

”Let’s change the walkie-talkie channel to 455MHZ!” Security chief Zhuo Peng took out his cellphone and took a look at it.

The working atmosphere of the mobile signal jammer was very limited. It only worked for a fixed frequency range of mobile phones, and could not interfere with any v-segment radio frequency walkie-talkie, which could be tuned at any time. Unless a high power broadband jammer was used, to break down all radio signals in the range. (That’s the kind of jamming car used by special forces to prevent a remotely controlled bomb from exploding.)

”Chief!” Ma Shuai touched Zhuo Peng with his arms, pointing to the villa 30 meters away, and said, ”I estimate that the signal source comes from there, as all the houses nearby have their lights on, but that house does not, and the door is wide open, which is very suspicious.”

”You guys get the electro bike out of here, call the police, then go to the duty room and get the webbing gun and the night-vision goggles. The rest of you come hide in the grass with me!” Zhuo Peng looked worried, as the people who lived here were all among the Zhongyun rich class, so if anyone was hurt, he would be the first one to be blamed, because he was the security chief.

Swish!

A large group of men heard this sound and immediately dove into the grass behind them. Then, they stared at Zhuo Peng with confused eyes, waiting for his next instruction.

”Wait till the police come!” Zhuo Peng whispered. ”Some high-tech thing was used. It’s definitely not a theft, but something more like a kidnapping, or extortion. Plus, we don’t have weapons.”

In the grass, not far from the guards, two men in black were lying on the ground. They called nervously on their walkie-talkie, ”Get out of here! The security has found us out. Retreat quickly...”

Unfortunately, they were answered by only a blind tone in their headphones. Time passed, about five minutes, before two police cars roared and dashed to the door of the community. Then, seven policemen came, holding guns in one hand, and one hand clutching their large-brimmed hats, causing both of the men to run with security to the lake. It’s no joke, if this kind of big thing happened in the villa of the Bolan community and was not handled well, they would bear the anger of the director.

”You came, comrade police!” In the green space near the lake, it was crowded with twenty men. Zhuo Peng toughly climbed out from the center, and said to the highest honorably titled middle-aged men among them, ”The resident is called Chen Fan, and there is a lovely little girl staying with him. He should be the richest one in our neighborhood. He drives over 10 million luxury cars.”

”More than ten million?” All the policemen gasped, as this kind of person could make it into the top ten of the list of most important and rich people.

”Are you holding a night vision device?” the old policeman said in a somewhat awkward tone, when he saw that the guards were well-equipped with all the fancy equipment, except for the unloaded pistols.

”Well, these are authentic German, with their own infrared auxiliary light sources.” Without even thinking, Zhuo Peng handed him his night-vision goggles.

The night vision device was just bought by the developer, in order to pose for, and then be photographed for a brochure for the wealthy to see. It must be said that, once they put the electric police stick, net rope gun, and night vision device on them, the effect was very good, as all the households gave them the thumbs up.

But one still had to wonder, what’s the use of these security guards, who can’t get real guns, even with armored vehicles? In case of danger, you still have to call the police for help?!

”Xiao Liu, you have the best shot here. Take the night vision device and go in.” As the middle-aged policeman spoke, he pulled out his gun.

.........

What happened outside seemed like it took a long time, but it didn’t even take ten minutes. Chen Fan, on the other hand, had just wrapped the three men in sheets and tied them up with ropes.

”Mmm...Mmm...” When Chen Fan placed the first ”mummy” downstairs, he just woke up from the coma, and both his legs were kicking in resistance.

Bang!

Chen Fan threw him downstairs in the living room, then pushed the electric baton switch on and again plunged him into a coma. Returning back to the second floor, he went and got the other two.

Woof...Woof...Woof...when carrying another person, Chen Fan suddenly heard a crazy howl from Xiao Xue that was on the third floor, then he immediately threw off the mummy on his shoulder, and leapt to the window.

”Why are there two more?” Chen Fan caught two figures in his line of sight, who were approaching after a flash, all the while feeling the nerves in his temple jumping.

Did their accomplices see the people had not yet come out, and then get suspicious? Taking a deep breath, Chen Fan tiptoed to the edge of the stairs, holding the flash in his left hand and the muffled pistol he had seized from the enemy in his right hand, trying to relax.

It was certainly not as easy as it had been, and when the man saw his companion downstairs, he was sure to alert himself, ready to pull the trigger at the slightest movement. Indeed, the ”mummy” lying across the floor downstairs startled the two policemen, causing them to break out in a cold sweat.

”Team Zhang, he’s alive!” Police Officer Liu pulled the mummy’s face away, and tried to test if it was breathing, then said in a barely inaudible voice.

”Why is there only one young man? What about the pretty little girl that the security guard spoke of?” Zhang, who was on guard, looked back.

”No harm done, and the breathing is steady!” Thirty seconds later, Liu said.

”Check the first floor of the room. There’s a dog howling, so there might be someone in the room.”

After two police officers checked the two guest rooms on the first floor, the storage room, kitchen, and bathroom, Mr. Zhang pointed his left hand to the second floor and made a cautious gesture. Although the two people were careful to keep light footsteps, when their leather shoes trampled on the wooden stairs and floors, it still made a slight noise.

Also, when the two people made use of the aid of night vision apparatus, and walked to the corner of stairs lightly, the white light that gives dazzling light on the stairs, let their field of vision become green and faint for a moment.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

As trained police, the two pulled the trigger in an instant, firing a bullet that fell flat on the stairs. Then, quickly pulling off the goggles, their left hands took the strong flashlights from their waist belt buckles, and one was in charge of the second floor, and the other had a slightly slanting pistol, which was aimed at the stairs on the third floor. Both were beware of someone, who was armed with the black gun.

Then, three shots, like a thunderbolt cutting through the night sky, were immediately sent, shocking the policemen who were lying in ambush outside the house. The security guards, on the other hand, were like enemies who were about to come over, as their adrenaline rose.

Of course, the biggest reaction was from Chen Fan, which was to wonder if this group of robbers was crazy, or if their brains had been kicked by a donkey? He had not expected that anyone would not hesitate to return fire with a pistol without a silencer.

Do they really think that the Chinese government is so ignorant? In such a community, with a gun being shot without a silencer, it would definitely attract the security! Then, when the big police organization arrives, there is no need to say anything about the Nakagawa family, because even if the king of heaven comes, he would have to surrender. The scene of a world famous shooter taking the policeman was nothing, as these scenes could only be seen in novels and movies.

Unless...

Chen Fan thought of a possibility: That is, unless they have the security of the community under control! Two strong lights flashed, lighting up the entire second floor, and Chen Fan, who was hiding at the side, with cold sweat, simply pulled off his night vision apparatus.

This group of enemies was more daring than he had ever imagined, and he was vexed that he did not care about the existence of Nakagawa Emi… Now, when the situation was as such, Chen Fan really wanted to control the electric eels, to catch a ghost moon jellyfish and give it to her.

However, the world was not satisfactory, as when you want to get your own way, there would always be someone interfering. The strong flashlight, which had remained stationary, suddenly gave a regular shudder, and there was a slight movement.

”Damn!” Chen Fan could not help but curse. Beside him, was a bedroom where he could hide, but it also meant that the enemy could rely on two corners from outside to hide, not like the stairs, where the terrain was narrow, and the enemy could not hide.

Thinking of the solid spiral steel welded into the security window, Chen Fan could only brazen out a gunfight. Whether it would cause him more trouble, or even cause him to be caught by the police afterwards, this was not a matter of consideration. After all, life was what mattered most.

Chen Fan thought for 0.5 seconds and decided to use his Beretta rapid-fire pistol. They were desperate, anyway, with pistols without mufflers, and he was too lazy to care either way.

So, just what is a rapid-fire pistol? It was a gun where the quick and slow machine on the left side of the bolt was adjusted to rapid fire mode, and then the trigger was not loose. The bullet in the magazine can be shot out in 3.5 seconds, and it wa best used to suppress the fire and to deal with mass enemies.

At the time, Wang Bing had seized five cartridges, and now he had a two thirty bullet cartridge. So, to empty a magazine and replace it in a second...

Thinking of this, with a pale face, Chen Fan was anxious, and gently flicked the pistol’s speed machine. He took a deep breath, then he took out a Zippo sterling silver lighter in his arms. He aimed at the third floor and threw it hard.

Small and delicate lighters soared across a beautiful arc in mid-air, then with a crashing sound, they had an impact on the wooden floor, successfully attracting the attention of both of them, who were on the stairs.
