Super Electric Eel Avatar

162 Crude Oil Quotas
Was it not important to make an ecological environment in a cave? The key was to see if there was enough space in it and whether the living environment was good enough.

If possible, Chen Fan was prepared to control the electric eel, to have it go in and look around to see if it could find a place and make it its camp.

After all, today’s technology was so advanced but an electric eel could only hide in the water, unable to experience the pleasure of moving ashore. However, wouldn’t it be possible for the electric eel to come ashore if the space was large enough?

Of course, that depended on how much space there was. If it was small, then there wouldn’t be enough room for the electric eel.

Determined, Chen Fan was ready to let the electric eel widen its path to the unknown space.

As for the unidentified creatures inside?

No matter how strong an ant is, it can’t beat a dinosaur!

It was more difficult to dig stone than to dig soil. He could not be rough and only could dig slowly with the spear because being rough would make the stones collapse. Fortunately, there were no twists and turns in the passage; otherwise, the 30-meter spear would not be able to be used inside.

After estimating the area to be excavated, Chen Fan thought it would take two days’ work.

The cave was narrow after the electric eel went in, so it could only use the power of forward collision to gouge the rock. While using the spear to gouge the rock, Chen Fan sighed with emotion. If there were a terrorist inside, then it would be tunnel warfare.

Titanium spears were strong enough and the electric eel was strong enough, too. A single spear could break a ton of heavy rock without a problem.

Rumble...

Rumble...

...

Chen Fan couldn’t resist his sleepiness after working until late at night.

Early in the morning on the second day, Chen Fan stood in front of the mirror, carefully getting dressed. He was going to do a formal thing today, so he purposely put on his black jacket and most expensive shirt.

This jacket was completely black without much decoration, and the wool felt comfortable. It was said that it was the latest style from Milan’s international fashion week and cost more than 70,000 dollars.

Dressed, Chen Fan walked down the stairs. Wang Bing, dressed in a black suit, stood like a javelin beside the car looking quite a bit like a bodyguard in, ”Sea Palaces.”

But...

When he saw Chen Fan coming out, he immediately tore off his disguise and showed his true face.

”Boss, you in these clothes is truly d*mn cool. I’ll also go and buy a jacket to wear tomorrow.” Wang Bing smiled, reached out his hand and surreptitiously touched Chen Fan’s clothes. ”So smooth, nice texture. . .”

”Well, it was seventy-two grand. Go and buy it!” Chen Fan ostentatiously shook his jacket with a flourish. ”It’s in the Armani shop on Yuanbao Street.”

”Hey, it’s a nice day today!” Wang Bing opened the back door flatly.

”Good sh*t, I’m freezing to death!” Chen Fan exhaled a white mist and ducked into the car. The 26,000-ton oil tanker from Saudi Arabia was due to arrive in Zhongyun tomorrow, and Chen Fan was going to help the owners find a buyer today.

The Zhongyun Refinery and Chemical Factory was affiliated with the southwest oil and gas field branch of China Petroleum & Natural Gas Co. LTD. This was an enterprise invested in by the Zhongyun government. The company had more than 2,100 employees and could produce five major categories, 70 varieties and 120 brands of petroleum products but unfortunately, had always been in a state of low production efficiency because there was not enough oil for processing.

The factory was introduced by Ma Rongtao and Chen Fan was ready to negotiate the selling of petroleum.

Strictly speaking, Chen Fan’s behavior was already part of the smuggling of crude oil. Because he did not get the crude oil import quota and production schedule, his oil was not officially recognized.

But that wasn’t a big deal. Yesterday, he called the company and said he had a huge amount of oil coming to the dock and asked if they wanted to buy.

When the officials there heard this, they knew it was crude oil smuggling without Chen Fan mentioning it. Isn’t smuggled crude oil still pure crude oil? It was not stolen from China and who cares if it was legal? As long as the price was reasonable, why not?

”Boss, what will you say if they want to keep the price down?” Wang Bing turned to Chen Fan on his way to the petrochemical factory.

”The ship is now just near the Hainan. If they bargain, I’ll sell to foreign countries. I can sell to Vietnam, the Philippines and a bit further, it can be sold to Japan or South Korea.” Chen Fan lounged in his seat. ”We have crude oil in our hands and a tanker. Why are we worried if there are buyers?”

............

With his legs crossed, Wei Zhixiu’s posture was not gentlemanly. He was so bored that he kept drinking his tea.

At just 39 years old, the director of the oil refining chemical factory in Zhongyun could enjoy a lot of benefits but instead he was sitting at home, like a little old man waiting for his wife who dressed up and went out in the middle of the night. Full of worries, stretching his legs and drinking a cup of tea, he wore an expression of bitterness and depression, and it looked awkward.

The crude oil index sent to them every year was not little but the actual quantity was, which made their factories hungry all the time. Even buying some oil residue or buying crude oil through an illegal path was never enough for the factory that consumed so much.

Yesterday, he received a call from someone who claimed to have a considerable amount of crude oil and asked him if he wanted it.

”I’ll take as much as you have!”

Wei Zhixiu’s tone at the time was domineering.

”My crude oil is a bit expensive. Ah, I am afraid you do not have enough money!”

The other side’s tone was full of contempt!

Chen Fan did not tell him how much crude oil he had because it was privately owned. He was covering himself in case the deal failed.

”Oh my god, please give me a well that never dries up!” Wei Zhixiu put the teacup on the table and went downstairs.

There were still more than ten minutes left to make the appointment. He wanted to see what kind of person he was and why he could be so arrogant.

The Zhongyun Refining and Chemical factory had been in the same state of profit and loss for several years but when the crude oil supply was insufficient, it accumulated 300 million in funds.

”Three hundred million! What an astronomical figure! He could have bought the oil and the tanker!” Wei Zhixiu happily lit the cigarette while staring at the gate with boredom.

Halfway through the fun of smoking tobacco, a black car drove into Wei Zhixiu’s sight.

”D*mn! A Maybach 62S Zeppelin.” Wei Zhixiu didn’t even notice that his cigarette fell out of his mouth. Is that too f**king outrageous?

Owning the world’s most limited-edition luxury car. . . Would it be a car which was remodeled?

Wei Zhixiu watched the car stop. When the driver pulled the back door open and a young man in his twenties stepped out of the car, he was completely shocked.

”Hello, hello, I’m Manager Wei. Welcome, Boss Chen!” Wei Zhixiu hurried up and warmly greeted him.

”Hello, Manager Wei!” Chen Fan shook his hand.

When the three of them entered the office, Wei Zhixiu first sent the young female secretary to make three cups of tea, and then he tried to make friends with Chen Fan.

”Manager Wei, may I ask, how much crude oil can you buy?” Chen Fan was too lazy to talk too much with this guy. What’s so nice about two big men trying to play tricks?

Wei Zhixiu turned his eyes leisurely and unhurriedly. ”Tens of thousands of tons of crude oil would be no problem.”

”Tens of thousands of tons? What about more, like 100,000 tons?” Chen Fan touched his chin, just tens of thousands of tons, a little less!

”A hundred thousand tons?” Wei Zhixiu was speechless and laughed. ”We can buy 100,000 tons, but the key was there hasn’t been that much to buy.”

”Brother, you are in this profession. It is not that you don’t know the domestic crude oil market. With crude oil, of course, the more there is, the better. But the situation can’t be helped because the supply is less than demand. In recent years, many small refineries have closed down because of lack of oil.”

”Haha, I know. That’s why I’m in this field!” Chen Fan smiled, with a calm look. ”Manager Wei, can you give me a bottom line, what are the most tons of crude oil you can buy?”

Hearing this, Wei Zhixiu hesitated. He was not a fool. The other side said this. It was clear that they were not satisfied with his offer of 100,000 tons.

A hundred thousand tons is not enough. Was he an Arab oil tycoon? Millions of tons?

”The money in my factory can buy between 120,000 to 130,000 tons. Of course, if Mr. Chen has much more than that, I can also find a way to borrow money from the bank.” After saying this, Wei Zhixiu’s mouth immediately felt dry but got better after drinking two gulps of tea. Instinct told him there was big business coming in today.

”How much per ton?”

”Two thousand eight hundred dollars a ton!” Wei Zhixiu quickly said the price. The regular channel crude oil price was 2,835 dollars a ton. The private oil price would generally wipe out the zeros.

”Fifteen dollars more!” Chen Fan was decisive.

”No, it’s too much. I can only add two dollars at most!” Wei Zhixiu shook his head like a rattle.

”Ten dollars!”

”Three dollars!”

”Five dollars!”

If a peddler saw this, he would laugh his head off that a billionaire and a factory owner would chatter away for a few dollars.

But what about the actual situation? Don’t look down upon the fraction of a few dollars. With 260,000 tons of crude oil, 15 RMB extra for a ton is 3,900,000 yuan. Five dollars extra a ton is 1,300,000.

”Five, five at the most, more can’t be added!” Wei Zhixiu was as firm as an indestructible hammer.

”Ok!” Chen Fan nodded, then touched his chin and said, ”I have a total of 260,000 tons of crude oil. Can you buy it?” At the price of 2,805, Chen Fan could earn about 50 million RMB this trip.

”260,000 tons!” Wei Zhixiu’s eyes were about to pop out. Although he had been prepared for the supply of goods, he was still stunned when he heard the number. Two hundred and sixty thousand tons could fill up most of the factory’s capacity.

Wei Zhixiu scratched his face and said, ”Boss Chen, let’s see if we can do this. I will add ten RMB to each ton, but can I owe you 60,000 tons on credit?”

Ten yuan was equal to 2.6 million yuan in total, but if it were 60,000 tons, it was equal to 160 million yuan.

”I’m afraid not!” Chen Fan shook his head. What if he defaulted? How could a smuggler report to the government?

Wei Zhixiu also understood the truth but was short of money. The crude oil was not easy to get. The rich loved to invest in real estate. There were only a few involved in the oil tanker business, and with Somali pirates along the way to contend with, even fewer were involved in this dangerous business.

Why would he want to give up 60,000 tons of crude oil when he caught a rich owner this time? The feeling was just like he met his wife again after 20 years in prison.

”Yes!” Wei Zhixiu suddenly smiled happily. ”Boss Chen, how about this? Our factory just had the unused crude oil import quota and production schedule this year, and I will transfer it to you so that your crude oil becomes legal.”

”Crude oil import quotas, and production scheduling?” Chen Fan narrowed his eyes. This was attractive to him. With their own crude oil gain legitimate, they could sell to anyone and the price would be tens of dollars higher. ”What’s the quantity?”

”If you want, I can buy a lot for you from other factories, but at a rate of twenty dollars per ton.” Wei Zhixiu smiled happily. ”Our trade this time would be 2,815 RMB per ton. I’ll help you to make an official document, then sign an agreement, so you need not be afraid that I will break the agreement.”

Twenty dollars a ton? Chen Fan calculated the sum of the amount. This price, in addition to crude oil becoming legal, was not much different from the price of the sale of private oil. Of course, if there were differences, Wei Zhixiu would not be so kind to help him. ”Ok, I will unload the 260,000 tons of crude oil to you after you get the documents for me.”

”Then wish us a pleasant cooperation!” Wei Zhixiu said joyfully.

It was probably because Wei Zhixiu was in such a hurry that after they had discussed the details, the guy dragged him to deal with the oil import quota documents and production schedule, and then kept asking when the tanker would arrive.

Chen Fan didn’t come home until after eight o’clock in the evening. Actually, the two documents were not too much trouble. They were similar to contract documents and could be completed within a few hours. The problem was the time used to travel to different places.

The five oil tankers would arrive in Zhongyun around noon tomorrow. Their company had a special pipeline to connect to the dock. They would plug in the hose directly and it would be finished.

After a hot bath, Chen Fan transferred his mind to the electric eel. In about two to three hours, the electric eel would be expected to have cut the passage width out of the cave, so Chen Fan decided to work overtime to finish tonight, and then let the electric eel venture into the unknown space.
