Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1495: Side Mission, Huge Reward

In the end, it turned out that the most taxing battle of all happened between Vexthra’s team Vs Gorath.

Rather ironic, one might say, considering the team with the bona fide Pseudo-Supreme actually ended up suffering the most.

But given the setup of the battle, it was perfectly understandable why they suffered so much. Kaizo lost one hand, while Indie had a deep cut on her shoulder.

Sylara was rather squeaky clean despite sustaining the most damage. The reason for that was due to the overpowered effect of the second blood tattoo she had drawn a few weeks ago.

The first tattoo was the [Blood Perception Tattoo]. It allows her to enhance her perception and reaction speed by 500 times. This boon helped them easily locate their target. It was something she had been looking forward to for a while.

As for the second tattoo, it was the [Blood Immortal Tattoo].

The name sounds a bit exaggerated; however, its use is exactly as its name suggests. Basically, as long as she has the tattoo, unless an attack has the power to kill her instantly, all other forms of damage will be returned to the one who inflicted them.

This meant that during the battle, all damages dealt to her were returned to the attacker, leaving her with no injuries whatsoever.

All injuries were returned to Gorath, allowing her to indirectly deal far more damage to the brute than she thought she could have.

But even so, because Vexthra chose to refine the brute into a golem, they had to endure 25 minutes of torture. In the end, however, Vexthra came through.

Just when her teammates were running on their last reserves, she activated the formation, trapping Gorath. The rest was her using the Genesis Purifying Cauldron to refine the brute into a pitch-black golem with a pair of green eyes.

Surprisingly, while Gorath was a Peak True Immortal, the golem came out as an Immortal King. Even more shocking was the aura surrounding it.

If an Immortal King stood before it, they would turn pale from sheer shock.

Kaizo, who was furious because he lost a hand, became ecstatic when Vexthra was done refining the golem.

Once she was done, she turned to Kaizo. ”Sorry about the arm. Elaine will fix it for you. For now, however, I want a drop of your blood essence.”

Kaizo did not even bother to ask why she needed his blood essence. He simply handed over a drop and waited for Vexthra to do her thing.

After a few minutes of applying the blood essence, the golem let out a powerful aura that caused Kaizo and the others to pale for a second.

Kaizo felt a connection form between him and the golem.

”You can name him now.”

Kaizo grinned and thought for a moment before a smile formed on his face. ”I will call him Titan.”

The moment he named him, the 3-meter-tall golem shrank to the same height as Kaizo. He then went down on one knee and bowed toward him.

He said nothing, but Kaizo knew he was pledging his allegiance to him. This made him laugh, and after a few seconds, he told Titan to stand.

”Titan is now yours to command as you please. He is linked to your blood essence, so as you grow, so will he. There are many other uses for him. If you want to know more, you can have a chat with him. I am sure you will be blown away by how useful he is.”

”Thank you, my lady. I will be sure to value my new pal with all my heart.”

Vexthra laughed, ”I know you will; that is why I refined him for you.”

She waved her hand, and Kaizo’s severed hand flew into her space ring. A few seconds later, she sensed the connection between them and the others form, so she reached out.

It turned out that the others, except Veera’s team, had finished their battles. Unity’s team ended their battle first, thanks to Velyra taking control over the blood pool and putting their target to sleep.

Just like Vexthra, she also refined her opponent into a Blood Puppet. The moment she took control over her entire being, the battle ended.

After that, Velyra flew toward the source of the blood pool, fully submerged her body in it, and began absorbing it. According to her, she awakened an innate ability that would allow her to break past the limits of the high world.

So she entered seclusion, leaving Unity and the others with her Blood Puppet.

As for Vari’s team, they had a brief but intense battle before Enkay drove his sword through their opponent’s head, ending her instantly.

She wanted to play a game of hide and seek with them, but with Neomi turning the tide by reversing her kill, everything flipped on her, allowing them to overwhelm her from the start.

In the end, she died, bringing their part of the mission to an end.

The only ones still at it were Veera’s team. Thankfully, after standing there for nearly an hour, Fero had had enough, so he joined the battle and, in under five minutes, he slaughtered everyone, bringing the battle to a close.

Surprisingly, after he killed Draxion, the Dragon Ascension Gate opened, and his resurrected body was sent inside. If he were to pass, then Yi Lai would have another subordinate on her hands.

Vexthra called everyone over to her side. However, because Velyra was in seclusion, she asked everyone to side with Unity. This way, they could stay there when she came out of seclusion.

As for the Dragon Ascension Trial, Yi Lai left it for two of her undead dragons to guard it. She had no reason to stay, since whatever goes on inside the trial is out of her reach.

After everyone gathered, Vexthra broke the news to them.

”Congratulations, everyone. We have successfully cleared the 11th floor. However, this time, we have a side mission.”

”A side mission?”

”Yes. I myself was a bit shocked when I saw it; however, after reading through it, I believe we have to accept it.” Vexthra shared the details with everyone.

It would be better if they saw the mission they would be embarking on. Of course, not all of them would be deployed, but since they are a team, Vexthra wanted them to see the details.

The mission is a good one, so he wants them to address that first.
