Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1025: Damned Bone Fish (Sea Terror) [Bonus]

[A month later - 45,000km deep in the Damned Hell Sea]

BOOM

A flame exploded in Kent’s face, sending him flying 1,000km away.

”Damn, these bastards are shameless,” Kent cursed as he used the Soul Map to teleport 30,000km away, only to deal with an abyssal cannon shark, a rather unusual breed of sharks that are known for firing long-range ballistic flame missiles.

Of course, if it were merely firing it, then Kent wouldn’t have been struck. However, these Damned Hell beasts have a special ability that teleports their missiles to their target.

So, despite having the Soul Map, Kent was still struck. However, looking at his skin, one could tell either that his skin is very thick or that his healing speed is monstrous.

Naturally, he has both, showing the kind of monster he is.

Kent teleports again, and another abyssal cannon shark was dealt with.

It had already been a month since Kent entered the Damned Hell Sea, and for the past month, he had never had a moment to rest.

In fact, he had been fighting for a month now, and from the look of things, he will be fighting for another month now that these annoying Damned Hell beasts are evading his surveillance with their attacks.

However, he had gone 45,000km deep into the Damned Hell, so that counted for something.

However, thinking about the 55,000km still left for him to go before entering the Inner Layer, Kent could only smile and teleport to another abyssal cannon shark while his soul swords worked in sync to kill the thousand Damned Hell beasts coming at him.

[Let me handle the abyssal cannon sharks. You can handle the others. When we reach 70,000km deep, the tide will lessen, though the strength of the Damned Hell beasts will also rise.

But at least we will have a breather.

I have absorbed so much resentful blood essence that I need to fully absorb and refine it before another major battle, and I know you also have a lot of blood essence to absorb and refine.]

Kent couldn’t question Gaap’s plan. He indeed needed to absorb the blood essence he had gathered so he could increase his strength.

That will give him an urge to do more.

”Good plan, Gaap. Go handle them.”

The sword moved on its own and started teleporting from one abyssal cannon shark to the next. Meanwhile, Kent retrieved two daggers from his space ring.

”I am still far from being pressed to a corner for me to use my bloodline.” With a smile on his face, he activated the flame wheels, and thousands of Damned Hell beasts began to be slaughtered.

Slowly, the number of abyssal cannon sharks started to drop. This showed Gaap was doing his work diligently.

But Kent wasn’t playing around either.

”I am surprisingly agile when using daggers,” Kent said, slicing the throat of a sea horse, and then, with a turn, he stabbed his second dagger into the head of one more beast before teleporting away.

”I guess it is because I am a swordsman, that’s why I can fight in close combat using daggers.” Yet again, he used his combo, slicing through the necks of three beasts. With a twist, he stabbed the other two.

However, before he could teleport away, a Shadow Fin Tiger fish appeared and stabbed him with its pointed mouth. Kent saw the attack and twisted his body to evade, but he underestimated the speed at which the beast came.

The razor-sharp fins on its head and back grazed his arm, cutting a deep wound. Instead of moving away, Kent endured the pain, which was nothing to him, and stabbed the beast in the eye before carving a deep cut into its side, ending its pitiful life.

However, before he was even done killing the beast, the wound on his hand had begun healing at a rather fast pace.

But by the time he picked his next target, it had healed and the flesh regenerated, sealing every evidence of ever being hurt.

”Ouch”

Kent was pierced in the chest and was pushed back a couple of meters by another Shadow Fin Tiger fish.

”These long-mouthed fish are dangerous,” Kent had to acknowledge the danger this beast posed. They are agile, even faster than him, despite using 15,000 flame veins with the Flame Wheels active.

A smile appeared on his lips as he threw one of his daggers, which circled around and stabbed the eyes of the Shadow Fin Tiger fish.

”Big Sister Enzi was right, unless I go out and dominate everyone, I shouldn’t say I’m the strongest.” Kent moved, and with a speed that was blinding, more blood started to spray like a fountain.

”However, I am no weakling, so until I am at my limit, I wouldn’t use more flame veins.” One of his daggers moved through the hordes of beasts, killing them at a rate no Core Formation cultivator would even be able to pull off with Tier 8 targets.

”When I next meet Paragon, I want to feel like his equal. So I must challenge myself.”

Many Heavenly Ascension stage warriors would run with their tails burning behind them if they were to face this horde of Damned Hell beasts.

However, a mere Core Formation stage warrior had the audacity to hold himself back and even use them as training dummies.

One would ask where the logic is, for there is no logic in what Kent is doing.

He is still seven realms below these beasts. However, he is killing them as if they were mere bugs.

---

[Two months after entering the Damned Hell Sea - 70,000km deep into the Outer Layer]

”Gaap, you are right. The number of Damned Hell beasts here is much lower. Though their strength is no joke,” Kent said, standing on his sword as they sped deeper into the Damned Hell Sea.

[Yes. However, we should be careful... There was a rumour that there are terrors guarding the boundary between the Outer Layer and the Inner Layer. From what I know, they are rather terr—]

Before Gaap could end his sentence, a sonic wave boomed below them, and the shockwave threw them back, sending them hurling several km away.

[I believe the rumours are true]

Gaap said, and Kent, who was looking through the Soul Map, frowned.

’I clearly had the Soul Map opened, covering the 80,000km. However, I didn’t sense this beast until after it had reached 40,000km.’

Kent saw a 500-meter-long bone fish appear, with a red aura emitting from its bony body.

”We are in danger, Gaap,” Kent said...

[Could be fun.]

”Indeed.”

[So run or fight]

”There is nowhere to run, so we fight,” Kent said, and Gaap couldn’t agree more. It hummed and released a resentful blood aura, which caused the air around them to tremble.

Kent grabbed it and then looked as the Damned Bone Fish appeared within 500 meters of them.

’It moves 40,000km in less than ten seconds. Now, that is a worthy opponent.’

The Blood Sword Aura coated the sword, causing Gaap to tremble excitedly...

[Now, that is something I could work with]

Kent laughed and then, with a speed powered by 20,000 flame veins, he closed in on the Damned Bone Fish, and a battle between terrors began.
