Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1008: Going to the Pill Ascension Competition [Bonus]

”Have you heard? According to news running around, there is a high chance a High Grade Primordial Flame will appear this time,” a Pill King said, standing beside three other Pill Kings.

”I also heard the same news. Makes me wonder just what has changed this year,” the second Pill King, a female, said.

”I think it will have something to do with the battle that happened there 15 years ago,” the third Pill King also joined in.

”Are you talking about the one between those brats from the Solaryn Pill Alliance and Lunareth Pill Alliance?” the fourth Pill King asked, and the third Pill King nodded.

The Solaryn Pill Alliance is the top-ranked Pill Alliance in the ten Pill Worlds system. They have three Pill Legends, which give them immense power.

However, the Lunareth Pill Alliance, being the second-ranked Pill Alliance, is no pushover either. They have two Pill Legends and a foundation so solid that it doesn’t pale in comparison to the Solaryn Pill Alliance.

Fifteen years ago, when the Pill Ascension Realm opened, a devastating battle broke out between these two factions, resulting in numerous deaths.

This battle was triggered by a Medium-Grade Primordial Flame and the Heavens Jinsing Flower, a Tier 16 pill ingredient that is said to have given birth to a herb spirit, making it sentient.

Because of this battle, many places in the Pill Ascension Realm were damaged, bringing the danger level there to a new height.

”I wonder how many Pill Emperors will qualify again to enter. The last time, only three qualified from our faction, leading to us getting only one Primordial Flame and seven Tier 14 herbs.

This time, I pray we get more than that.”

”Me too. However, with the top two factions at war, who knows what will become of us?”

”Maybe we should focus on actually qualifying to enter before thinking about all this.”

Although none of them dares to say it, they are scared. But of course they should be. They are heading to a place where even a herb can kill them. If that is not scary enough, then what is?

”Look, it is Pill Monarch Nefeli.” Suddenly, someone shouted, pointing at the green-haired beauty walking out toward them.

”Who is that kid beside him?”

Naturally, that kid is Kent, who wore a smug smile walking shoulder to shoulder with Pill Monarch Nefeli. Yuna was hidden behind the two, so nobody saw her.

”I think that is the kid who won the duel against that arrogant Pill Saint.”

”But that kid was a Pill Grandmaster. Look at his badge, he is a Pill Saint.”

”No way,” suddenly, a Pill King said, narrowing his eyes.

”Look at his badge, it is Platinum.”

”No way.”

”Does that mean he was promoted to the Pill Saint stage and even holds the authority of a Platinum Pill Saint?”

”Damn. Who is this kid, and why haven’t I seen him before?”

”I know him. He was the one who identified the Tier 12 pill from Tier 9 ingredients back when Pill King Han Lu and Pill King Yota had their duel. I believe his name is Pill Grandmaster... I mean Pill Saint Kent.”

”It was he who defeated Pill Saint Flura.”

”I think so. And it seems he was promoted to the Pill Saint stage.”

”I think so too. But I believe he deserves it. I mean, someone who was able to concoct a Tier 9 pill with a low-grade grey pill ring deserves his current rank.”

Obviously, many were happy, but a few who think they are better than everyone silently seethe in their hearts.

Kent and Pill Monarch Nefeli arrived at the gathering. It was then that many saw Yuna.

Kent smiled and made a mental note to buy Yuna a dagger. ’She will make a fine Assassin.’

The 15 alchemists around bowed when Pill Monarch Nefeli arrived. However, she just waved them to stand up.

”The Pill Emperors had taken the lead to secure slots for us, so we should get moving.” With a wave of her hand, a beautiful ship appeared and hovered 2 meters off the ground.

She then turned toward Kent and spoke to everyone, ”This is Pill Saint Kent. He will be joining us, and if he manages to pass the trial, he will enter the Pill Ascension Realm with you.

Treat him as your little brother and protect him if you can.”

”Yes, Pill Monarch.”

Kent smiled and waved at his new big brother and sisters, ”I will be under your care, seniors.”

Kent walked away from Pill Monarch Nefeli and stood with the alchemists he knew wanted to know him better before stabbing him in the back.

”Let’s go.”

They jumped on the ship, and soon, it was away from Planet Pyris, heading toward Planet Solaryn, which is just 6 hours away.

[Planet Aerithyne - Yanki Great Pill House - Pill Sage Flura’s POV]

”Father, you know you don’t have to come with me, right? I will be travelling with 24 powerful and capable alchemists. I don’t need my Pill Monarch father drawing attention to me,” Pill Sage Flura said, smiling at her father, who decided to accompany his daughter to Planet Solaryn.

She was recently promoted to Pill Sage, but it is only a matter of time before she becomes a Pill King.

”I know you will be safe with them, but I will still come,” her father said, wearing a small smile.

”Does this have something to do with Pill Grandmaster Kent?” she asked. Of course, she is not aware Kent has reached the Pill Saint stage.

”Partly yes. I want to see the face of the person who defeated my daughter.”

”Suit yourself. But don’t intimidate him... I want to maintain a good relationship with him for my future’s sake,” Pill Sage Flura said with an expectant smile.

”Does this have something to do with what the Celestial Cloud Feather told you?”

”Yes, Father. She told me that if I were to form a good connection with him, then my future in the path of alchemy would be limitless.

So, although we left off on a bad note, I believe there is still time to salvage the situation and make amends. Hopefully, that will get me in his good books.”

”Don’t worry, I wouldn’t mess up your plans. I just want to quench my curiosity and see what he looks like. Maybe if he is eye candy, I might just take him as my son-in-law.”

”Twh, my big sisters already have suitors, and my big brothers don’t swing that way, so don’t even think about that,” Pill Sage Flura laughed.

”I know, but I still have one daughter who isn’t married, and every male is too scared to approach her.”

”Who? Aside from big sister Jane, who is yet to marry but will soon because she has a fiancé, the only person left is me, and I—”

It was at this moment that Pill Sage Flura realised what her father meant. This caused her to glare at her hateful father, but a blush appeared on her cheek.

Her father laughed out loud, causing the maids around to bend their heads to hide their smiles.

Pill Monarch Yanki IV is one of the brilliant and relatable alchemists at his rank. However, what many like about him is his easygoing attitude.

He wasn’t some hard-to-approach Pill Monarch who thinks he is better than everyone. In contrast to his daughter, it was because he had pampered her too much that she turned out to be so arrogant.

He is very respectful, even for someone of his status.

Thanks to Kent, his daughter seems to have been brought down a notch, so he wants to thank Kent in person for helping to correct his daughter’s bad character.
