Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1007: Rescuing Yuna

”Yuna, use your flame to keep heating the cauldron. Don’t stop until I tell you to,” a bearded man with a face tattoo and stern expression said, staring at a pale young lady whose blue flame was heating a large cauldron at a rather high temperature.

From the look of this, the man, who was a Spirit King, was working on a Tier 11 pill, something someone at his level shouldn’t attempt.

Of course, as an ambitious man looking to become a Pill Emperor, he was working around the clock to concoct a Tier 11 pill using Yuna’s help.

In essence, he was merely cheating his way by creating a pill that would push him closer to his goal.

But it doesn’t matter how one sees it.

This level of alchemy was beyond a young girl who was merely a Pill Saint and was rather fragile.

Looking at how she was profusely sweating, one could tell she had reached her limit long ago, but because of the fear she had for her master, she couldn’t bring herself to stop.

Of course, on the surface, she was a disciple of a Pill King, but in reality, she was but a slave chained to her master. There was no escape for her.

”You are slowing down, Yuna. Increase your flame before I snap.”

Yuna shuddered and then, against her own body and soul, screaming at her, she increased her flame.

As someone with the Soul Purifying Flame, she was like an asset that nobody would reject. Her flame was ideal for making pills.

Of course, nobody is aware that she has the legendary Divine Pill Body that any Alchemist will kill to possess.

Not even her master, which is probably a good thing.

In fact, not even Yuna was aware of how special she was.

If she had known, perhaps she wouldn’t have chased after a Pill King simply to become his disciple.

”YUNA...”

The Pill King shouted as Yuna was dozing off. It seemed she had reached the point where staying conscious was no longer possible.

However, under such a shout, she straightened up and kept going.

Suddenly, a voice entered their ears, causing both to turn toward the entrance leading to the Pill Room.

”You really should learn how to treat a lady well.”

Kent stood, his arms crossed over his chest, a disdainful expression plastered on his face as his cold eyes stared into the Pill King’s eyes.

Naturally, the Pill King broke into a cold sweat under such a vicious gaze.

POOF

The momentary scariness caused his flame to fluctuate, which, at the critical junction he was at, caused the pill to explode, destroying his three hours of hard work.

This suddenly wiped the fear he felt for Kent, causing him to call out...

”Who the hell are you. Look what you have done?” He reached beyond Kent. ”Somebody, get rid of this trash.”

Kent didn’t say anything and stood there for a full minute. When nobody came, he smiled evilly and waved his hand, bringing out fifteen golden blood essences.

”Nobody is coming, scum. I killed them all, and here is their blood essence.” Kent waved his hand, and the soul flag appeared. Then, with a shake, fifteen soul spirits appeared.

”What...”

The Pill King stepped back, feeling his resolve shatter and his mind go numb as he stared at 15 soul spirits of people he knew.

”Don’t despair yet. This is merely the appetizer, the main course hasn’t begun... scum.”

Kent opened his arm and called out to Yuna, ”Come here and stand behind me.”

Perhaps, like the saying goes, ’sometimes, it is better to go to bed with evil to fight the devil.’ Yuna didn’t hesitate.

Seeing someone completely shatter the resolve of her master, Yuna knew it was time to jump ship, so she took Kent’s hand without any hesitation.

”Smart girl.”

Kent smiled at her and then looked toward the Pill King...

”You are going to die a very painful death, and there is no one coming to your aid.” Kent waved his hand again, and the soul spirits vanished alongside the blood essence.

Although forming the Blood Core Gate requires only blood essence from beasts, cultivating the Primal Body Tempering Art can use any blood essence.

Of course, he had yet to have his first blood bath to cleanse his body, but that could wait for now.

Kent snapped his finger, and the Umbral Flame of Oblivion appeared, burning with its dull black radiance.

The moment the Pill King saw the flame, his body tensed, and a fear he never knew he could feel overwhelmed his senses.

”Please have mercy on me... Please.”

Tears started streaming down his face.

Kent merely scoffed and looked at Yuna...

”Should I show mercy?”

Yuna froze for a second before a look of disdain and anger was bottled up in her body. ”Kill him. He showed no mercy when I asked for one, so please kill him.”

It was only after Yuna answered the question that she realized the slave contract between her and the Pill King was broken.

This caused her to look at Kent, who had turned back to the Pill King. ’Just who is this person?’

”She wants you dead. I want you dead, and her hidden guardian also wants you dead, so you are going to die.”

With a wave of his hand again, the flame flew and engulfed the Pill King.

His painful screams gushed out, causing Yuna to move closer and plant her face on Kent’s back. She didn’t have the heart to watch all this.

Kent understood that, so he snapped his finger and a vacuum closed in on the Pill King, masking his painful cries.

One hour later, his charred body was left in the pill room; no traces of the Umbral Flame of Oblivion remained on his body.

Meanwhile, Kent disguised Yuna using the Soul Universe, and they had already booked a VIP ticket back to Planet Pyris.

4 days later, they arrived in Pyris City and quickly made their way to the Pyris Pill Pagoda, where Pill Monarch Nefeli was waiting for him.

When they reached the Pagoda, Kent saw about 15 Pill Saints, Sages, and Kings around. He immediately recognized them as the people who had qualified from the Pyris Pill Alliance to participate in the Pill Ascension competition.

Since he wasn’t coming to them, he quickly made his way past the 5th floor. When they reached the 7th floor, they were stopped, but Kent flashed the badge his big sister gave him, and they were allowed entry.

In no time, they arrived on the 9th floor.

”Took you long enough.” Pill Monarch had already been informed that Kent had arrived from the moment they arrived at the Transfer Channel.

”Big sister. Glad to see you are beautiful and healthy as ever,” Kent said, but he was ignored completely.

”Who is this young lady?” Pill Monarch Nefeli asked. Kent smiled and removed Yuna’s disguise.

”Her name is Yuna, your new sister.”

”Errrh.”

Both Pill Monarch Nefeli and Yuna became startled. None of them was made aware of this arrangement; however, Kent had a fix.

”Long story short, the Grand Pill Tablet told me to rescue her from her scum master and deliver her to you, who, from what I sense from the Grand Pill Tablet, seems to hold you in high regard.

You can go talk to her later, but for now, be happy. Yuna will be staying with you from now onwards.”

Pill Monarch Nefeli went through a range of emotions for a moment before calming down...

”You are late... we’d better get going...”

Pill Monarch Nefeli looked at Yuna. ”Disguise her again. She is coming with us.”
