Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 959: The Fourth Floor - Church Of Destruction (3)

”Mirror Distortion,” Lady Enzi muttered, causing the space around the Spirit Lord to twist.

”Blinding Dagger,” Lady Liora followed up by throwing her dagger, which vanished from sight. The next second, she also vanished and appeared behind the Spirit Lord, stabbing her second dagger into his shoulder.

She was aiming for his neck, but he managed to shift his body slightly, causing the dagger to stab his shoulder.

”Die, bitch.”

He swung his spear, attempting to strike Lady Liora away. However, mid-attack, he sensed a dagger appear before him, causing him to abandon the attack.

But he couldn’t move away because the glass under his feet gave out, and he fell, falling alongside Lady Liora.

Lani, who appeared before him, preventing him from attacking Lady Liora, laughed, stabbing her dagger at the Spirit Lord’s head.

But her target is no simple warrior. He is a Spirit Lord.

Thankfully, he was able to block it with his hand. But the dagger went through his arm, causing him to scream like a baby who had touched fire.

”All of you should just die,” he exploded his aura yet again, causing the three ladies to move back. However, they all smiled when they saw a blur move past them.

The next second, a head shot into the air.

Neomi, the mother of Killers, swung her sword, wiping the blood that appeared on it.

”So cool,” Lady Enzi muttered, looking at the back of the beauty who had timed it perfectly and took advantage of the chaos to kill the Spirit Lord.

”Tch, what a showoff,” Lani smirked, though she couldn’t help but admire her sister’s finesse when it came to killing.

”Well done, you two. You have proven to be capable warriors. No wonder Kent is obsessed with you both,” Neomi said, taking out a spear now.

Naturally, she wields the spear, but for this kill, she used a sword, proving just how lethal she can be with a weapon in her hands.

”Thanks for the compliment, but we are still lacking compared to you ladies,” Lady Liora said with a small smile.

”True, but don’t worry. Kent will hook you up with a fix soon.” Lani giggled. ”The price for that, of course, will be revealed by our big sister who already has your destinies arranged and your fate sealed in stone.”

Lady Lani and Liora raised their brows, feeling a chill run down their back.

”Don’t panic, she is a goddess, so you are in good hands...”

”We should join the others,” Neomi smiled, looking at the expression on Lady Enzi and Liora’s faces.

Lady Enzi blinked a few times and then deactivated the Mirror Dimension, bringing them back to the battlefield.

Right when they appeared, the third Spirit Lord was killed by an arrow through the head.

The moment the third Spirit Lord fell, the rest started to scatter. However, how could they leave that easily when Alina held them as prisoners?

”Finish them off,” Vexthra said, already looking forward to the conclusion of the quest.

”Big sister, something is not right,” Alina said, flying toward Vexthra.

”What is wrong?” she asked, and Alina pointed at the members of the Church of Destruction. ”From what you said, there should be 2,063 of them on the battlefield. However, counting the dead and alive, there are only 1,563 of them.

We are still missing 500 of them, the majority of them being Spirit Monarchs and Sovereigns.”

”I figured as much. For now, we can eliminate these ones and handle the rest later. I am afraid this mission wouldn’t be ending today.”

Alina nodded and flew back to the battlefield.

”I knew something wasn’t right from the moment we arrived on the 4th floor. However, now that I’m here, I can’t help but sense that something terrible will be happening soon.

I’d better take extra measures to ensure no harm comes to any of them.”

With the Spirit Lords dead, the battle came to an end within 55 minutes. Every last member of the Church of Destruction was killed.

Vexthra quickly gathered her team and informed them of Alina’s discovery.

”So we have 500 still at large?” Lani asked.

”Indeed. However, if I were to guess, they can be found at their church,” Vexthra answered.

”Then, how about we storm there and bring everything down?” Kaizo proposed, but Vexthra shook her head.

”No. Doing that will be suicide.” Vexthra looked at everyone’s expression change.

”I think it is time you all learn something about us gods.” They all opened their ears and were ready to listen.

”The reason why I said attacking their church is a bad idea is that doing so can be considered as directly attacking their patron god.

You see, the church is something blessed by their god since he receives their sacrifice. So if we were to attack that place, he has every right to intervene.

Of course, he can’t come down himself, but he can bless any of them, bestowing godly powers on them. We gods hold our worshippers dear, for they are our source of strength.

Of course, not all gods require the power of faith to grow, but this particular Demon God requires one, and I know with certainty he would use it against us.”

”Can you stop him? I mean, you once slapped him, I am sure you can do that again,” Anna asked, having complete trust in her big sister.

Vexthra pinched her cheek and smiled. ”I am afraid I can’t stop him unless he sends down an avatar or he descends himself.

I am not just any god, my dear sisters. I am a god with my own Dao. This means I didn’t need the power of faith to grow stronger. I never required that since the day I ascended to godhood.

This means I can’t bestow my power on any of you. If I were to be just any god, then turning you all into my worshippers would have allowed me to bestow my powers on you.

Of course, if Kent were to be here, I would have been able to bestow a sliver of my power on him, but even that would cause more damage to him than good.”

”Then it seems we are at a loss here,” Elyndra, the strongest Undead in Kent’s legion until Sylara formed the Blood Hunger seal, said, shaking her head.

”Not entirely. While it is true that attacking them in their church is a suicide move, attacking them outside the church is possible; we just have to lure them out.”

Vexthra, however, smiled at her own words. ”Though I am afraid that wouldn’t be possible, for I am sure their god has already informed them of what happened and even told them what to do.”

”Well, that is just great,” Zareth shook his head.

”All this about gods and faith is making my head bleed.” Kaizo gave up and sat down. This caused some of his friends to sigh and also sit down.

However, Vexthra kept a smile on her face as she looked at them.

Anna, who was paying close attention, saw through Vexthra’s smile, causing her to ask, ”There is another way, right?”

Vexthra nodded. ”There is indeed a way. However, only three of you can do it. This means only three of you can attack the church and kill the 500 remaining members of the Church of Destruction.”
