Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 953: Puppets

It wasn’t just Kent and Lady Azela who were blocked from entering the sect. There are others who, judging by their outfits, appear to be disciples from the Heavens Eye sect.

There are about 12 of them, and each looked pissed.

It is clear as day that they were stopped a while ago, causing them to curse at the people manning the caravan, although they made sure to keep their distance from them.

The strongest among the twelve is a Spirit Ascension stage cultivator, making her two stages below the three Spirit Kings manning the caravan.

”Who are those losers?” Kent asked Lady Azela, whose cold gaze was locked on the three people standing in front of the caravan.

”They are lackeys from a brute who claims he is the King of the planets on this side of the universe. There are seven in total, and he has control over six of them. He is a peak Heavenly Ascension stage cultivator with powerful subordinates backing him.”

Kent nodded.

He can tell that whatever this is, meddling in it will be a headache. So he planned to mind his own business.

Well, that was what he thought until a sudden ding in his head told him otherwise. Kent looked at the message, and a smile appeared on his face.

’Well, what was I expecting. The fact that I am here is somehow tied to my destiny. I might as well fulfil it before going back.’

Kent turns and looks at Lady Azela, who was still holding a cold look on her face. Kent knew perhaps this wasn’t the first time she had come across these people.

So, he opened the Soul Map and connected to her first; then he expanded it, penetrating the formation that covered the sect.

Far in the Core Area of the sect, her mother was glaring at three people. Two are Spirit Monarchs and one is a Spirit Sovereign.

However, what made Kent realise this wasn’t something simple was when he saw Lady Kami wasn’t making any attempt to send the three smug-looking people to the afterlife.

’She is a Peak Heavenly Ascension cultivator, yet she isn’t making any attempt to kill them. This can only mean she is afraid of the backing they have.’

Kent smiled weakly, which made Lady Azela, who had seen this, narrow her eyes at him. ’What are you thinking?’ she asked.

Kent turns toward her, ’Nothing much. I am just thinking who to kill first.’

”You would do no such thing. Do you know who you will be provoking if you do that?” Lady Azela said, amplifying her voice slightly.

Some of the disciples closer to them turn and stare at them. However, since none of them recognise either Kent or the lady beside him, they just turn away and resume glaring at the three Spirit Kings manning the caravan.

”I was hoping I would find out who I would be offending. After all, how am I going to kill them?” The smug look on Kent’s face didn’t show that he was joking. On the contrary, he meant everything he said, causing Lady Azela to wonder just where his confidence was coming from.

”Don’t think too much about it. Let’s go back a few kilometres. I have to handle something first. It will take less than an hour.”

She nodded, and under the watchful gaze of the three men manning the caravan, they retreated. After going far enough, Kent sat down and started channelling soul essence into his soul.

’With how versatile my cultivation technique has become, I can now raise my strength in many ways. Now, all I need is to reach Tier 16 in soul cultivation, and then I will be able to break at least two more levels on my body, soul, mind, and cultivation.’

Kent sighs and smiles slightly.

’I wonder how powerful I will become after breaking two more limits.’

Lady Azela stood behind Kent, looking at his back like she wanted to devour him. As she stood behind him, she could sense Kent becoming stronger by the second.

’I don’t know how he is doing it, but I feel like he is becoming stronger, yet his cultivation base is still stagnant. Just what is he doing?’

She knew an answer wouldn’t come unless she asked, but she was hesitant to ask. In the end, she chose to hold back for now.

Kent smiles in his head, using the Soul Map to spy on her. ’All I need now is to raise my mental strength high enough to work my magic on these people. They will be the key to killing these six Kings, six Generals, and the so-called Planet King.’

Thirty minutes later, Kent broke through to the Tier 16 stage of soul cultivation. At the same time, the limit on his soul broke, causing his soul universe to experience some changes.

Kent didn’t stop there.

He accessed the Tower system and started adding points to break more limits. It took him 20 more minutes, but in the end, he managed to break two more limits on each of his Aspect Attributes: Mind, Body, Soul, and Cultivation.

’I have now broken 3 Limits in total for each. I feel like I am invincible in this world.’

Before coming to the past, he had only broken one limit on each of the four attributes, so this was like a leap forward by several margins.

’With this, I am ready to make these bastards my puppets.’ Kent stood up.

’My Mind Manipulation ability has already reached a level even Spirit Monarchs and Sovereigns will find it difficult resisting. If I use soul attack in addition to mind attack, then even Spirit Lords are not safe.

This means I am ready to handle this the best way possible. After this, I will spend some time checking my soul universe to review the changes.

”Let’s go.” Kent took Lady Azela’s hand, and they started walking back to the sect. On the way, Kent shared his plan with her.

”So I have decided not to kill these people. However, they wouldn’t be leaving here free either.”

Lady Azela sighed, calming down a bit. If something were to happen to these people simply because they came to her sect, she knew her sect would be on a timer from today onwards.

Hearing Kent wouldn’t kill them made her happy.

However, she couldn’t help but see the last few words in Kent’s sentence as the same recipe for disaster.

”What do you plan on doing?”

Kent smiled and looked at the three people, now 100 meters away. ”I am going to turn them into my puppets. Just like this.”

Kent snapped his fingers, and the three people fell to their knees.

Lady Azela’s eyes widened.
