Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 785: Third Floor - The Unbreakable City (3)

Within ten minutes, everyone was ready.

Kent studied them and nodded.

They were indeed ready to face their first actual battle, one that would determine whether they were truly as impressive as they claimed.

”Remember, should things go wrong, you should execute plan B. That will take care of whatever might go wrong.

Plans C and D are for when we really need them.

”Dont worry, Master, we wouldn’t need Plan B, just Plan A is enough to handle them.” Kaizo, of course, had to brag.

But his words do make sense; they are strong enough to use A, so plan B would be for when they are getting close to the danger on the higher floors.

”Let’s go,” Kent commanded, and they started flying toward the city. Camilla would attack when they were 5 km away from the city. It was also the right spot for Kent to use his attack should Camilla fail.

As for Neomi, she would move much closer to the city.

Camilla held her spear as she talked to it. Well, the spirit inside was talking to her. It is weird that the most important thing was that they were talking.

”Are you sure? Your current body can only handle 5% of my power. Using 7% will not only hurt like hell, but you might not be able to fight for half a year.”

”Provided I don’t die, I can handle it. This is a big deal to me.” Camilla looked at Kent from the corner of her eye. ”I can’t fail him.”

The weapon spirit didn’t say anything for a few seconds until a sigh escaped her lips.

”You are just as stubborn as our first sister.”

Camilla smiled. ”I guess she and I will get along when she awakens.”

”That I am sure you two will.”

”Very well, I will give you 7% of my energy, but do well to stay awake and watch your handiwork do what it was intended to do before passing out.”

”I will.”

With plans in order, Camilla was prepared to unleash her strongest move, one she never thought she would be using anytime soon.

But since the situation called for it, she would be using it to give her friends a chance to clear the third floor of the dungeon.

When they were 5 km away from the city, they came to a halt.

”They know we are here,” Nyxira said, spinning her dagger. She could see far ahead, and so she noticed the figures standing on the tall, thick wall.

”Then we should greet them.” Kent turned to Camilla, who nodded and flew into the air.

After rising about 20 meters above the ground, her body was immediately enveloped in a potent golden energy.

She then lifted her spear and threw it into the air, pointing its tip toward the city.

She sighed and formed a seal.

The moment the first seal was formed, the spear started to spin. She formed another seal, and this time, instead of the spear spinning much faster, a runic circle appeared around the spinning spear.

She formed three more seals, causing three more runic circles to appear around the spear.

”Are you ready?” Lynn, the weapon spirit, asked, and Camilla nodded.

”It is going to hurt like hell, so brace yourself.”

Camilla mentally prepared herself for the pain, and just when the first strand of energy entered her body, she felt her body tense, then a mind-numbing pain entered both her mind and body.

She gritted her teeth as more energy was poured into her body.

However, instead of screaming, she was forming the hand seal in rapid succession. In no time, 40 runic circles appeared around the spear, and looking at the energy coming from the spear, it was safe to say it had become a weapon even Spirit Lords would fear.

But Camilla didn’t stop there. She went further and continued to form more hand seals, adding more circles to the spear.

Soon, she started bleeding through her nose and mouth.

Kent panicked and wanted to stop her, but Vexthra stopped him.

”She has made her decision, so allow her. Stopping her would do more damage than what she is sustaining now.”

Kent gritted his teeth as blood continued to flow now from even Camilla’s eyes and ears. Soon, the energy stopped entering her body, but by then, 99 circles appeared around the spear.

Camilla felt her body giving out, but she gritted her teeth and managed to form the 100th circle before pointing toward the city wall.

”Spear of Down.” Her voice turned dull and weak, a sign that she was weakened. But she willed herself to activate the attack. ”Point... of... No... Return.”

The moment she activated the skill, the spinning spear came to a halt. Then it flashed forward, streaking toward the city like a bolt of lightning.

Atop the city walls, the tigers watching Kent and his team were at first laughing at them. This wasn’t their first rodeo.

Once in a while, people would come attacking them; however, no matter how hard they tried, the walls stood firm, not even a dent forming on the surface.

So, watching Kent and his team get ready to attack was like another day of entertainment for them. However, when they saw Camilla point toward them, their bodies froze for the first time since the city was built.

They all felt their blood run cold, and even within the city, thousands of tigers felt their bodies freeze in place.

Those about to put food in their mouths froze in place, and even those falling froze mid-fall. It was like time had suddenly frozen.

Even inside the throne room, King Renie felt a danger he had never felt before was over him, forcing him to burst out of the room and appear on the city walls.

However, he was a second too late, for the spear had already touched the wall.

For a moment, nothing happened; then a crack appeared, and like a nuclear explosion, a powerful blast rocked the wall, tearing a large chunk, approximately 500 meters in diameter, away and opening a way into the city for the first time since it was built.

Thousands died instantly, and even the king, who appeared on the city wall just a second before the explosion, was thrown across the city, crashing through several buildings.

Kent caught Camilla before she could fall to the ground.

”I... I did it,” she said weakly. Kent nodded and wiped the blood from her eyes and mouth.

”You did, and I am proud of you. For now, rest. We will handle the rest,” Kent said, but Camilla passed out before she could hear him.

”Take her away, Vex.” Vexthra nodded and vanished into the tower, sending Camilla straight into the Yin pool.

She began channeling her energy into her body, doing her best to repair the damage that had occurred. Gaia and her sister appeared the next instant, bringing loads of healing potions.

Meanwhile, outside, Kent pointed his sword at the city and said, ”Kill them all.”

He wasn’t even done when two golden flame wheels appeared on the sides of his left and right feet. He activated the 5th form of the [Firestep Divine Dance].

It was one of the divine-grade techniques he had learned from the Flame Tower. The first form, [Flame Wheels], is activated.

With a single movement, he was inside the city, leaving a trail of golden flame behind him. The sudden movement took his legion aback, but they also moved, and attacks started to rain down on the now breakable city.

Kent moved through the city, killing anyone in his path while searching for King Renie.

Seeing the pain Camilla went through to break down the city made him mad, so Kent wanted the bastard’s blood as compensation.
