Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 763: Rules and Nature of the Flame Tower [Bonus]

The tower stood tall, imposing and powerful just from its look.

It seemed to be built from metals dripping red with lava.

It was built like a box, but it had shapes, jagged yet intricate, that revealed it was made with great attention to detail. It was built to command attention.

These designs gave the tower a fierce, almost primal elegance—a fortress both brutal and refined, crafted with meticulous attention to detail.

’Whoever this immortal was, he knew what he was doing. The tower looks both simple, complex, and elegant at the same time.’

The aura surrounding it thrummed with power, and just by gazing upon it, Kent could feel the immense strength locked within its walls.

’I can’t wait to enter,’ Kent said inwardly as he gazed at the towering structure pulsing with energy.

A few minutes after the tower appeared, Elder Lance flew into the air, looking more tame after the humiliation Uncle Drake put him through.

Of course, just because a true dragon tamed him doesn’t mean he was suddenly overpowered and broken. Now, among the world leaders, none dared to make any attempt to add more salt to the wound.

If anything, they were even calmer and quieter, knowing the humiliation Uncle Drake had put him through. He would want to redeem his ego by getting back at someone.

So they all gave him some face and remained respectful, just as they had before the unfortunate incident.

”Listen up,” Elder Lance began. ”The tower has awakened, and like every three years, those with a token can enter. If you try to sneak into it without a token, I don’t suppose I have to tell you what would happen.

Now, let’s go over the rules.

First, do not think of wanting to fight or sneak attack while inside. Any attempt to attack anyone means instant death.

And while it will be worth it if you die with the one you sneak attack on, that won’t be the case because even if the person dies, the tower will use your life force to save them.

This means you will be dying a foolish death.

Second, you have only three days to comprehend a flame art. After three days, you will be kicked out, and if you fail to reach the third form of the technique, it will be wiped from your mind.

This means don’t try to memorize because it won’t work. Master the technique, or more like learn and understand the first three forms, before the three days are over.

Third, avoid trying to play smart and think you can use soul items to record techniques in hopes of learning from them later.

You will not only lose your soul item, but the tower will place a limit on you, which will prevent you from comprehending any flame-related skill ever again.

Lastly, you have the privilege to learn as many techniques as you can from the teacher, provided you can master the first three forms of the technique.

Please note that the reason I am here is to select the best geniuses and report their performance to the sect. In a week, you will be invited to take the sect exams.

So this is your chance to prove to everyone how impressive you are because trust me, you will need it now more than ever.”

Everyone sighed, knowing their one shot to enter the sect was about to be determined in 72 hours. If they blew it, then that would be on them. But if they managed to get it done, they were one step away from entering the strongest sect in the world.

It was a big gamble, one that depended on their performance upon entering the tower.

”Now let’s talk about the nature of the tower.” Kent’s attention was pulled into what Elder Lance was about to say, for that was the main thing he was waiting for.

The rules aren’t something he has to know, for he isn’t planning on ruining the experience by cheating.

He had already planned to get things done faster, so stabbing someone in the back wasn’t something he planned on doing.

”The tower is simple. When you enter, you will appear at the foot of a long stairway. All you have to do is start to climb.

However, it isn’t as simple as it sounds. You see, the reason we call it Flame Tower is that inside the tower, it’s as hot as hell.

And when I say hot like hell, I mean every single word. The higher you climb, the hotter it gets until your skin literally starts to burn and peel off.

However, you have to climb because it is through climbing that you will earn the techniques you can try to master.

The stairway has five levels. Every level has 100 steps. To master a technique, you must climb 100 steps and reach the first level, which grants access to Heaven-grade techniques.

At least you should be able to climb this far because although Heaven grade isn’t that strong, they are flame-type skills, meaning the more you understand the flame, the stronger they become.

Also, having a stronger soul flame will boost the technique’s potency. You will have the option to select as many as you can, and the moment you master at least three forms, you can move to the next.

The following 100 steps lead to level 2, where you will be presented with various Legendary-grade techniques. You have to know that mastering at least three forms of a technique here will take you a long way when you get into the sect.

Level 3 has Mystical-grade skills. If you manage to acquire mystical-grade techniques, then you know you have a future as an Inner Disciple.

Then there is level 4, where only Mythic-grade techniques can be found. In the history of the Flame Tower, only four people have managed to master a technique from there, and they are all now core disciples.

Of course, I don’t want to look down on you, so measure your coat according to your size.

For level 5, I cannot say what is there, but if you don’t burn to ashes, then perhaps you will be presented with divine-grade techniques, something that not even the supreme immortal sect can boast of having more than just ten of.

That is all when it comes to how you will be getting a technique from the tower.

Of course, you can be brave and brave the heat, but know that death is permanent, so before getting greedy, remember that death is only once and cannot be bought with money.” Elder Lance looked at everyone and smirked, his arrogance returning.

”Now, if you have a question, you can ask.”

Kent stepped forward and asked,
