Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 640: First Human Friend [Bonus]

[Ah, it turns out people can be civil after all. So, all the slaughter could have been avoided if those demons had just been civil.

It has already been three years since the last slaughter. However, I spent the best part of those three years training in the Damned Forest. It was a good place for dragons like me.

I became a Level 3 Spirit King just a few months ago, but it turns out that before I can become a Spirit Emperor and Sovereign, I must comprehend the third form of the Primal Bone Tempering Art.

Laviathan said nothing about that. But I need to prepare some ingredients first, but I canʼt find all of them in Lumen. So I need to go outside after all.

The only problem is that I donʼt know anywhere aside from Lumen, and even though I have a boat that can travel the vast expanse of void space, I still lack a destination.

So for now, I will bide my time and wait for the next invaders.]

Kent sighed. He didnʼt even want to turn to the next page in fear that he would see another slaughter. He was indeed a menace, and that was why he never honestly told himself much, but only warned himself to tone it down a bit.

”But to think I broke three limits already, I guess I am qualified to kill Spirit Lords and soon even a Heavenly Ascension expert.”

From the memories, it turns out the Primal Bone Tempering Art is meant to break limits in his bones and body.

There are many limits on every aspect of a being. There are limits on the mind, soul, body, and cultivation path, and perhaps others as well.

So far, Kent has broken one limit on his body and another on his cultivation. However, Chaos broke three limits on his body.

That makes him someone very dangerous, and if he manages to cultivate the technique to all seven levels, who knows how many limits he will break.

If three limits were broken after comprehending two levels of a technique, then what happens when all seven are comprehended?

Kent knew he had to review that, so he dug back into the diary.

[So I found an old map from the rubble of the three great families. It turns out that Lumen is part of the Lanky Planetary Alliance, which consists of seven worlds.

In the past, the Myrrath and Serraxis tried to evade Lumen, but the three great families held them back. I think Myrrath were those idiots I killed.

They were much more pressing than Serraxis, who I read are humans. Lumen is a beast world, so hearing about humans who are known to fancy taming beasts like me is something I am looking forward to.

This means more slaughter if that is the only way to let them know Lumen is out of reach. Of course, if they turn out not to be like the demons, I will have a civil talk with them.]

”I guess I could use some humanity after all.” Kent smiled as he flipped to the next page.

[So it turns out the humans are scum, and I had to kill yet again. However, I only killed 99 and let one live. She tried to stop her people when they attacked me, while I tried to be civil.

I mean, why should I even bother being civil? Killing without any question or warning sounds like the best thing for me. However, today I saw humans arenʼt all that bad in a way.

Her name is Elina, a Spirit Sovereign and a swordsman. I mistakenly struck her with my tail, and she passed out, so I took her to the healers after slaughtering her cohort.

It is only fair that they pay for attempting to take what didnʼt belong to them. Those idiots nearly made me lower my guard, which would have been fatal if Elina, their leader, wasnʼt a good person — I think.

She can play me, but I will squeeze the life out of her before she even has the chance to do anything.]

”Ha,” Kent sighed, then a smile appeared on his face.

”He is not wrong, or more like I was not wrong. Humans... some of them are scum. Even in a place like Earth, humans can willingly type in their passcode and unleash nuclear weapons on their fellow humans.

They are indeed scum.”

[So Elina woke up, and we had a nice talk. It turns out she is the daughter of a powerful merchant who holds a relatively high position in Serraxis.

The Emperor of Serraxis sent her and her team to negotiate a peaceful deal with Lumen after hearing about what happened to Myrrath when they tried to evade.

As the daughter of a merchant and also a good swordsman, they added her as the leader of the negotiation. Basically, their job was to establish peaceful contact with Lumen, in this case, me.

However, her teammates saw me as a weakling, and so when they found out I am the leader of the Lumen beast race, they tried to eliminate me.

She did not hate me for killing her teammates, though I think she is scared of me.]

”Dumbass, canʼt you see how she was fidgeting with her fingers while talking to you? Do you even look at yourself in the mirror?” Kent laughed.

The audacity he had to write something that obvious. However, turning to the last page, he smiled.

[So I decided to let Elina go. She promised to come back a year later with some good news and even the ingredients for the tempering, so I can finally step into the third stage in The Primal Bone Tempering Art

Iʼm not sure if I can trust her. However, I am nearing a stage in my Claw Arts that will raise my battle prowess to a new level. If she turns out to be scum too, I will happily tear her apart like a rag.

Thankfully, that didnʼt happen. A year and a half later, Elina came with seven people now. All were important people of her race, and this time, they came to negotiate a deal that would benefit both Serraxis and Lumen.

Also, Elina and I became friends, my first human friend who promised to take me around the world... I think I can trust her.]

Kent closed the diary, which had the name ”Chaos Diary 1/99” on it. However, the moment he closed the diary, it turned into sparks and entered his forehead.

Thus, his first Dragonic Enlightenment was underway...
