Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 619: The Creator of Chaos (4) [Bonus]

”Isn’t the name a bit misleading? Soul Enslavement would be a rather good name for it,” Kent mused, moving through the air.

”Well, temporarily, Soul Enslavement will be good too, considering the person dies within ten minutes after the skill is used.”

The moment Kent used the skill on the Spirit Ascension hellhound, something happened. As the skill took effect, he gained access to the person’s entire soul, which in some twisted way gave him the ability to command him.

Of course, just using the skill is enough to kill him, but now, he could torture him and even command him. That was akin to temporary enslavement in Kent’s opinion.

And he hates slavery.

⟪The master is overthinking it. This is not enslavement; it is more like commanding a soldier, only this time, they won’t have the means to say no, which, now that I think about it, does sound like slavery.

But on the bright side, torturing and commanding him—well, I say commanding him—seems more decent. Torturing him is not ideal in this big battle, so better command him to aid you in the ten minutes he has left.⟫

Kent smiled, hearing Gaia’s words. ’I guess she made a good argument. In that case, why don’t I make him useful for now?’

”Kill every Sovereign and Core Formation hellhound you see.” The moment he gave the command, the hellhound jumped into the air and started raining arrows on the hellhounds, who couldn’t understand what was happening.

”What is Brizno doing?” The Spirit Kings locked down by Aetheris wondered when they saw the hellhound under Kent’s control, killing his fellow hellhounds.

But it didn’t take long for three more to join in. Soon, the total number of Spirit Ascension stage hellhounds fighting for Kent rose to ten, shocking the trapped Spirit Kings.

”What is happening?”

”Who are these people, and where did they come from?”

They couldn’t understand what was going on. Chaos surrounded them everywhere. The battle had started six minutes ago, but the death toll on the hellhounds’ side was staggering.

One could argue that they were caught off guard. However, that was nonsense considering they were being held back and killed easily.

The Shade King Nykali was tasked with holding back five Spirit Kings. He was doing just that, and even looking at the wounds on the bodies of the Spirit King he was actively battling, it was clear he would soon emerge victorious.

Nykali could summon spectrals from ancient battlefields to fight for him. However, he hadn’t done that since he awakened a new power that allowed him to create his own spectrals.

Right now, thirty spectral knights were holding back four of the Spirit Kings, while he held back the fifth. However, instead of feeling overwhelmed, he was rather having the upper hand in the battle.

The reason was his scepter. The staff-like weapon in his hand was more dangerous than any weapon being used on the battlefield.

The scepter contained a crystal called the Spirit Crystal. It absorbed nearby spirits, which Nykali could then use to amplify his attacks. The stronger the spirits, the more powerful and devastating the attacks became.

And while he hadn’t killed anyone yet, Kent had already killed loads of Sovereigns. The Undead Legion and the Eternal Wrath Legion had also killed some Spirit Ascensions, so there were more spirits he could use.

This was why he held the upper hand and the only reason the Spirit King would soon be dead.

Meanwhile, Veera was also battling hard while her undead army held four Spirit Kings back, just like Nykali’s spectral knights.

She was battling a Spirit King using her sword skills. Surprisingly, despite being a necromancer, she was also a Sword Sage with profound grade sword energy under her control.

This gave her an upper hand over her opponent, who was using his fist.

In fact, despite being slower than the Spirit King, she was doing her best to keep up, and judging by the wounds on the body of the Spirit King, one had to say she was nearing the end of her first battle.

As for the rest of the undead, the battle was growing even more devastating around them. Kaizo was having the time of his life.

He may be the weakest in the legion so far, but that doesn’t make him the weakest on the battlefield.

In fact, thanks to being humiliated over the past few months by Gorzak anytime they spar, Kaizo has grown much more powerful since then. It was like getting punched made him stronger, and indeed, that is one way for him to grow.

He was holding his own against the Spirit Ascension stage hellhounds, and that alone shows his potential is far more dangerous compared to people still at the Root Transcendent stage.

”Skybreaker Fist.” Kaizo jumped high into the air and then came down, landing a powerful punch on the hellhound he was fighting. The punch sent him flying back.

The moment the hellhound struck the ground, thunder echoed in the clouds, and then a thick lightning bolt tore through the sky.

”Heaven’s Judgment.”

The thick lightning bolt landed on the hellhound, piercing a hole through its chest. Just like that, Kaizo killed his first Spirit Ascension warrior.

The body vanished into Kent’s NecroForge, and Kaizo smiled. ”Master, did you see that? Just 70% of my strength was enough to solo a Spirit Ascension expert... hahaha.”

”Yeah, well, you better get moving. The bodies you kill will be used to upgrade you and awaken your true name, so get punching and please, use your full strength. I don’t want to use more bodies to resurrect you.”

Kent smiled, watching his first undead, and from what he knew, the one who would one day become the leader of the undead legion became happy after killing a Spirit Ascension stage hellhound.

He didn’t know what to say. Kaizo is monstrous, just like the rest of his brothers and sisters. Speaking of his sisters...

The second team from the harem consists of Vari, Elsa, Selene, and Zaila. Just like Unity’s team, they are also handling one of the four Spirit Kings that Kent tasked them to handle.

It can be said with confidence that they are exceeding Kent’s expectations.
