Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 639: Chaos Journey [Bonus]

[So I killed the last of the three great families today, and it felt nice. At long last, they wonʼt be able to cause any more damage to anyone.

However, I now find myself in a difficult situation. That old bastard. It turns out that killing the three great families was a bad thing in some way.

I discovered that Lumen is home to a rare type of mineral called Spirit Stones. These spirit stones contain spiritual energy that most cultivators utilize to enhance their cultivation bases.

Not that I need it...

For centuries, the three great families have been fighting over it, hence the chaos that we, the commoners, have had to endure.

However, aside from their battles, they were also the force that prevented others from invading.

It turns out that the only three gateways to Lumen were protected by a powerful formation that, from that old bastardʼs mouth, not even immortals could break.

But now that I have killed them, it will only be a matter of time before those outside Lumen find out and invade. When that happens, I will be powerless to stop them.]

”Aah, what a dumbass,” Kent smirked, flipping to the next page of the diary. However, when he read the first line, his back broke into a sweat.

”He is crazy, totally crazy.”

[Actually, I wanted them to invade. I want them to come so I can start cultivating this damn technique the Leviathan gave me when I visited the Primal Void.

I need the blood, loads of blood, and since they are serving themselves on a silver platter, who am I to reject?

The Primal Bone Tempering Art requires me to slaughter as many idiots as I can to temper my bones. I know it is sinister, but that is the only way I can live up to the contract I made with the Leviathan.

So I have to bide my time and wait for the invaders to come.]

”Crazy,” Kent took a deep breath, feeling the craziness seep into his bones. The fact that someone who was only a spirit king was waiting for possible immortals was enough for him to realize how crazy he had been in the past.

”However, the Primal Bone Tempering Art is what I need right now.

It will not only enhance my body and bones, but it will also make me a predator, someone worthy of once being the opponent of the infamous Abyssal Leviathan, the overlord of the wild.”

Kent laughed, feeling the craziness stir within him.

---

Inside the Mountain Garden, Dori and her sister were watching their master with smiles on their faces.

⟪I can start to see that craziness surface. Mercy on the souls of those who would anger him. I fear for them,⟫ Gaia said, shaking her small head. Her sisters were the same.

⟪His bloodline is already thirteen percent, yet that craziness has started to surface. Makes me wonder, would this version of him become even crazier?⟫ Akira asked.

⟪Only natural. He has lived many lives after all, and while I wonʼt say all of them were crazy like the Chaos Dragon era, he was a menace in all, so it is only normal.

The question, however, should be whether he can control the chaos and not exacerbate it, as he did in Lumen.⟫

The three sisters nodded, looked at each other, and sighed in unison.

---

Kent flipped to the next page of the diary.

[So I killed 12 thousand people today. Although I couldnʼt reach all of them, the 12,000 are from a world called Myrrath. I donʼt know where it is located, but I believe they are demons who can breathe fire.

Makes me sad I canʼt do that despite being a dragon. However, I learned something new... Killing is so much fun.]

Kentʼs eyes remained on the book, looking at the words written in black, and he just couldnʼt fathom how someone could be this crazy.

”At this point, I think we were crazy — I was crazy. But strangely, it felt good slaughtering them. After all, they came to destroy my world, and I wouldnʼt let that happen.

All those who cross me will die.”

Kentʼs eyes turned golden, and the aura of chaos radiated from him. Without even knowing it, his claws were activated as he said those words. However, a few seconds later, a sigh escaped his lips.

”I was a menace. However, while I understand what I did, perhaps I could have been more welcoming and not gone straight to slaughter.” He smiled, then continued to read.

[Okay. So the slaughter I committed wasnʼt in vain. I managed to comprehend the first form of The Primal Bone Tempering Art.

This made my claws three times stronger, and my Dragon Aura now has that primal kink to it. I think I am becoming a predator, and the feeling is incredible.

However, I also think I may have gone overboard the last time. Perhaps I will be more civil next time and try to make things more peaceful.

However, the people of Lumen are happy with my leadership. Life is good, and while the slaughter is too much, they seem not to care.

Perhaps they are too afraid to say anything, considering on occasion I hear whispers of people saying I am a tyrant. Not that I care.

I donʼt need their praise anyway. The only thing I need now is to grow stronger and have my battle with Leviathan.]

Kent flipped to the next page.

[So the civil approach didnʼt work, so I had to lay waste to a thousand more. This time, they put up a fight. However, they couldnʼt break past me.

Also, I managed to get one of their boats, which can travel through the spatial channels.

I am considering leaving Lumen to give them an in-person warning. However, I am afraid they will come while I am gone, so for now, I am weighing my options.

On one side, I could wait for the strongest of them to come, then after I kill all of them, I can travel to nearby worlds and give them a stern warning.

Or I can risk it and go bananas.]
