Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 296: Dragon Scale Armor {Gift Bonus Chapter}

The second day of the auction was different from the first day.

The items being auctioned are all in the heaven grade, so every item turns into a bidding war with the rich buying everything provided it holds any value to them.

A series of items were brought up for auction, with many bidding for their chances.

Kent and his ladies joined a few bidding wars, which they won simply because they had the money to call any bid.

Kent bought a rusted heaven-grade spear brought back from the Ancient battlefield of parting. It was broken, but it was in no way ordinary.

He wasn’t after the spear; he was more interested in the material used to make it.

The metal used in making the spear wasn’t something he could look down on, so after a brief battle, he won it for 120 million.

It appeared he wasn’t the only one who valued the spear.

Elsa also bid on an item. It was a peculiar item called a soul-tuning fork. To her, it would help her greatly in her soul cultivation, so she went for it. Strangely, some other person also bid on the item, but Elsa won.

Unity also won a bid on an arrow.

This arrow was also brought back from the Ancient Battlefield of Parting, but it wasn’t on the same level as the one Kent got from the store lady in the Green Gate bazaar.

The two gate masters also won some bids, with Lilian being the only one who did not have a chance to win anything. None of the items suited her.

Ingrid also bought an item, and so did her master, Neomi.

After 44 items, everything was settled for the heaven-grade items.

”Next, we have a heaven-defying pill and four legendary-grade items. Now, three of the items are indeed legendary grades. However, the last item in that category was given that grade simply because we don’t know its true grade.

Now, before you all start asking questions, know that despite us not knowing its true value, it is in no way useless. If anything, this should be something you should chase after with all your money.”

Alina’s words made everyone eager to see what this item was.

They were all hyped and wanted to bid on the legendary-grade item and the pill, even though they knew little about them.

”I won’t talk too much, so why don’t we start with the first legendary-grade item?”

The mechanized table appeared, and hanging atop it was a green armour set, shining and illuminating the auction hall.

The faces staring at the armour narrowed their eyes as the armour immediately caught their attention. One didn’t need the genius to tell them that the armour hanging on the table was something everyone must have.

”This is the Dragon Scale Armor. It was found inside an armour protection case while exploring the dangerous parts of the Forbidden Grounds.

From what was discovered by the brave explorers, this armour was crafted by a renowned blacksmith you all might have heard stories of—Metal Sage Lore.”

Alina paused as she mentioned the name everyone had heard before. He was one of the many figures whose stories were preserved before the Parting and the world divisions. Continue your saga on

”Metal Sage Lore? Wasn’t he the one who crafted the current door protecting the Ancestral Burial Ground? I heard he was a close friend of the then-emperor of the human continent before the Parting,” someone said.

Everyone began sharing their own versions of the stories, recounting how they had heard of him and what they knew. In all the tales, one thing was clear: Metal Sage Lore was a renowned blacksmith.

”Yes, this armour was crafted by Metal Sage Lore, the same human who was on the same level as the then-blacksmith of the Forbidden Grounds.

This armour is a masterpiece that boosts one’s strength by 30% when worn and enhances one’s defence by 50%.

In fact, under normal circumstances, one should know that with just this armour absorbing a hit, the energy stored can be released in a beam of energy.”

”The bidding starts at 100 million, with a minimum increment of 10 million.

Let the bidding begin,” Alina declared, and the whole auction house erupted into a frenzy.

”200 million...”

”300 million...”

”350 million...”

The price quickly rose, and everyone began to see the allure of such armour. Kent, seated in VIP room 13, scanned the armour.

⟪Name: Dragon Scale Armor ⟫

⟪Grade: Legendary ⟫

→ An armour crafted by Metal Sage Lore. Both males and females can wear it, as it adapts to their size and shape.

→ The wearer gains a 30% boost in strength and a 50% boost in defence.

→ Additionally, the wearer gains the ability to redirect all stored energy in the armour into a single beam that can kill anyone below the Root Ascension stage.

→ If you have a strand of dragon blood in you, the armour will bestow a skill called Dragon Strength.

→ This skill will grant you a 90% boost in strength and a 40% chance to ignore all defences and deal true damage.

’Not a bad item, but I already have a soul armor. And it’s not like I need a boost when I have stat points,’ Kent thought to himself.

Then he glanced to his left and noticed the two gate masters were interested in the armour, which would benefit them greatly.

”I don’t want it, so if you ladies want it, just bid. But there’s only one armour, and there are two of you, so decide who gets to have it,”

Kent said, knowing they were still hesitant about paying more than 500 million for a single armour set.

The price had already risen to a new high, so they wanted to confirm their decision before joining the bid.

”You can have it,” Gate Master Mara said to her friend, who smiled and joined the bid.

”700 million!” she shouted, adding 100 million to the current price. However, the bidding didn’t stop because of her bid.

After all, the armour was a legendary-grade item. Everyone wants to get their hands on it, especially the blacksmiths.
